  1. OK, I'll bite. Who the hell are those two people?
  2. Absolutely. I'm 5'7" and had a girfriend nearly 6' for quite awhile. It was awesome. Perfect fit! As my father used to say, "When you're nose to nose your toes are in it, and when you're toe to toe your nose is in it."
  3. ? Well done
  4. That was a very interesting article. Thanks. I shared it with a couple of my doctor friends. They didn't test the KN95 masks that have ear loops, did they? I have to believe they perform better than plain cotton. The KN95's also fit my face far tighter than the surgical mask, too. Any thoughts?
  5. After I ordered the CC from Amazon (30 fun size bars at $1), I remembered Publix in town has the full sized bars ($1.75). They were out for a while but they were back in stock today. Probably a good thing I got the minis. One (or two) fixes my craving.
  6. Like a wheel of cheese, right? Something like Swiss cheese, perhaps.
  7. Um, what? It's easier to replace fewer positions, not harder. There are plenty of NCAA refs (who look like they may have the season off) former XLF, AAF, etc., to fill the relatively few positions.
  8. Of course. But same with the refs. "The game goes on without YOU" is the same for refs (who have yet to make their decision) as it is for players. True for coaches, owners and commisioners. Individuals can be replaced, but the game cannot go on without two teams of players and officials. He made it seem like refs are more important to the game than players. Well more than "made it seem like"--he flat out said it. So what is his point? Does he think the players that opt out believe the game won't go on without them? If so, I think that's nuts. These players go in with the knowledge they will be replaced for the season. They know the risks to their position long term before taking this move. He isn't telling anyone anything they don't already know. The only thing he seems to be saying with any clairity is he doens't think the virus is that big of a deal. OK, he can think that. But to criticize others who are, you know, smarter than him---well it's perfect actually.
  9. PLEASE! I definately miss my yearly vacation. I ordered Coffee Crisp mini's from Amazon just to get me through.
  10. The game absolutely CAN NOT go on without players. It can go on without specific players, for sure. The exact same thing with officials. Individual players and officials can be replaced, but you absolutely need both players and officials to play the game. Or am i missing something?
  11. That's the name of the guy I was thinking of. I just didn't remember the "mumbo sauce" part. Thanks, that was really bugging me. And plenz, that's was great. I'll have to check them out when/if things get to the point where we can go ahead and freely travel around the country.
  12. Storm in Jacksonville? Right now, things are pretty good here in St Augustine. Better check the weather. Thanks.
  13. You don't really believe "flat earth believers" actually consider and weigh the facts, do you?
  14. I can't read the story right now (pay wall), but if they are talking about a BBQ style wing that existed before Anchor Bar started serving wings, I am familiar with the/a story. (Though "mumbo" doesn't ring a bell, so maybe it's a different place.) But African Americans have been frying and saucing wings for a LONG time. The "Buffalo" wing is really just a twist on that. May be why Theresa decided to put some hot sauce on that first batch of wings. I have, when particularly lazy, just fried them whole. But there's a place down here that makes acceptable wings (for Florida) and they also serve them whole (with the tip cut off, if I remember correctly). That I don't understand. I'm paying for these wings. Cut them in half for s#it's sake! They are so much harder to eat when not seperated, especially when served piping hot, as they should be.
  15. I could make a lot of ragù from that.
  16. And now i can't get Pappardelle al Cinghiale out of my mind .
  17. Russell Bodine, Center
  18. Just about the only answer I can think of at the moment. Then again, this was barely a "game show" as we know it today. Asking me who is my favorite game show host is a lot like asking me "what was your favorite hemorrhoid?".
  19. I see what you are saying. Let me see if I have this straight. The cap floor is going to be the exact same next year as this year. Not a decrease. But it is a decrease from what was precviously being predicted for 2021 before the pandemic. So, same as this year, less that people were predicting for next year. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/nfl-proposes-2021-nfl-salary-cap-floor-at-175-million-due-to-covid-19-pandemic/#:~:text=Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports, was estimated at %24210 million. T Now, this may be a silly question but what's the difference between The Cap and the "minimum Cap"? Is that the very minimum teams have to spend?
  20. While I also doubt money is the (only) issue for Tre, isn't the cap supposed to stay flat for 2021? Where did you get the $25 million hit?
  21. How many of those people were arrested for it, though? That takes a special stank.
  22. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/08/04/world/middleeast/coronavirus-israel-schools-reopen.html?smid=tw-share Nothing to see here. No lesson to learn Just move along.
