If you guys remember last year, we looked a lot weaker at the safety position when Hyde went down and the games Poyer was out. As much as there is a real need for our 1st next year to be a WR, I can see Safety as another position. We look pretty deep at everything else as even Brown has been improving at RT.

Poyer has another year so he’s most likely here in 2024. After 24, he’ll be gone.

When his career is finished, he’ll go down as the best BuffaloBill in history. Even more noteworthy than Kelly, Bruce, Reed, or anyone else. The only thing hampering this point is if god forbid he has a career ending injury. The point is no one is perfect. Not Manning, Brady, or anyone else. They all have occasional clunker games including Josh. I’m not quick to rush to judgment on Dorsey, but I’m also not opposed of McD can find someone better and more skilled, to make a change. I don’t see that happening mid season.

Hyde’s contract is up after this year. It’s unlikely we extend him at his age. AJE knows he has been erratic until the Jags game. He’ll have to settle in on a reasonable contract. As far as Adams, I don’t see it happening given the cap hit next year, but D. Hop is on a team going nowhere and his impact would be minimal. It’s possible the Titans may be comfortable with that trade.

Oliver has been impactful this year, but if ever an opponent to sit Oliver, it’s the Cheats. We still have Poona, Phillips, and Settle. We’ll need to pull another from the PS. We also have on clear passing downs can kick GROOT to the inside. If anything with his height and length should disrupt crossing patterns for Mack.

I don’t know if Williams will ever be as good as Milano, but he shows promise in his own right. Bernard, I believe will surpass Edmunds in time. He’s been a significant participant in this defense, and McD is getting the most out if his players.

There were 60 mph winds that day, and they had a slightly better team. Although breezy Sunday, it won’t be anything like that night in Buffalo.

I like Brownie more than Murph at this point. I think he’s done a nice job. If you’ve heard other radio PBP, you’d know how good we have it. Gene Deckerhoff in Tampa does a nice job and people here love the “Fire the Cannons” when the Bucs score, but Chris does a nice job. He’s also the draw on One Bills Live vs. Tasker who constantly can’t finish a thought. He’s a decent guy, but his radio presence lacks at times.

I feel like I’m in high school again. My earlier comment about head butting was always more intense when the team won and we of course blew weight that night drinking Genny Lights and bloodying each others foreheads. I hit a guy (HB) so hard he had shivers down to the base of his spine. after a 12 pack or course each. Then it was out the next morning for a 6 mile run on a Sunday in the snow in a rubber suit. God we were such idiots.

My go to when I played multiple sports was head butting. My mom always said I have a concrete head, and rhino Hyde. They were probably right, or just a little touched. In wrestling, that was a real head but with a teammate. You have to be a little nuts to wrestle at a high level, or just enjoy pain. No great sound than you’re referee slapping that hand on a mat pinning you’re opponent. Never liked sports where I can’t hit someone or pin them. I was good at baseball, and soccer, but give me football and wrestling any day of the week.

A number of these injuries are little nagging ones, and should subside we hope with winnable games against NE, and TB. The Bucs are doing it with smilie and mirrors. They have a decent defense, but the offense when faced with a real opponent like Philly and Detroit. We should beat them and it’s the only time I don’t root for the Bucs as I’ve lived here since moving for grad school. My sons and friends are Bucs fans, but my boys are loyal to my Bills (given my constant brainwashing since birth) We have the Bengals, but they don’t look nearly as strong as last year, and then the hapless Broncos. Well be fin as long as we don’t lose any more Tre’s, Jones, and my favorite in Milano.

You had me until the Josh only has so many prime seasons left comment. That’s just not true. QB’s with the new rules are able to make it much longer than QB’s from even 15 years ago. Josh will still be our captain at least til he’s 38, and even longer.

That’s the consensus opinion he is almost over pursuing, but has good instincts. With playing time, he’ll settle down. Milano is my favorite guy on defense, but he improved from 2017 and beyond. You don’t get the finished product from a rookie as they grow in time. I believe he’s doing a nice job given the few starts. Bernard on the other hand is doing great, but he was raw as well last year.

Exactly GB. I do think if this play is going. Nowhere, the option for Josh to take off is on the mark.
