Reducing option routes, having more motion, keeping Davis doing what he does best in deep routes, 3x1 sets, Allen with some timely designed runs, and the person doing motion should be Harty or Isabella given their speed. Go routes is where they can shine. Using Cook more as a passing outside option overloading a side. I know what we need to do. It’s just they need to execute and that’s the tough part the position coaches have to implement with their players. Lastly, have fun. At the end of the day it’s a game. Enjoy it while they have the god given talent to do it. Thats my contribution OP, and I prefer these types of threads, than the fire everyone and witch about players, coaches, and Mgmt. It does nothing. And for the record, I’ve been frustrated with a number of areas, but choose not to witch. As far as today, the Eagles are exposed at LB, and Safeties so the middle of the field is where to design plays. My hope is Kinkaid is used heavily over the middle around 8-11 yards out.

You must not be old enough to see OJ. The crazy part to OJ is every offense to stop him, yet he averaged 143 yards per game in 1973. That is the greatest avg yardage for a season of all time. Now I’m not old enough to remember that year, but I’ve watched the games after the fact. Granted he turned into a piece of human garbage later in life, but he’s up there with Barry. I used to always go to the Bucs/Lions games in the 90’s because of him. He was electric!

Really good game for von to become von again
machine gun kelly replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t know if it means anything, but he’s had that brace since his return, and was scheduled to be removed Gameday tomorrow. We’ll see if that actually does anything. -
I’d love to jump on the hype train, but this is a misleading stat as that is looking at two 13-3 seasons, etc. it’s true Josh has done well, but I need to see him and the team for that matter against, Philly, KC, and Dallas. We win those 3, and I’m a believer again. That’s a big ask. The good news is phillys secondary is vulnerable, KC’s offense has flaws and Dallas, well you just don’t know what you get week to week considering AZ beat them (kind of like us losing to the Cheats). we win these 3, and I’m confident we can win the rest. How about we build confidence with each week?

Dawg, As always nice post, but for me it’s difficult to evaluate the draft without looking at free agency and trades. It’s turning out as of late Beane had a massive injection in talent in Joseph and Douglas, and if you want to go back awhile, Diggs. You’re listed draft picks are definitely hits, but a few took awhile like AJE. Thanks for the work you put in on this thread. Enjoy your Black Friday. I know I don’t want anything to do with shopping.

There are two problems. 1. He has an expensive contract for an often injured guy the last couple of years. 2. It’s a risk with those injuries. Hed have to be willing to renegotiate his contract, and this year is a wash.

Rodgers feels guilt over Wilson situation

Exactly Bill. Rodgers, don’t go away mad, just freakin go away! -
Just getting on here as I was engulfed in family today. It was a blast as badly as these two games were today. I’m hopeful for a better nightcap with Seattle/SF. As far this early game, I was a bit surprised GB played pretty well, amd Love as erratic as he was earlier in the season, he had a decent game today. I thought Detroit was going to commandingly beat the Packs. The Cowgirls game was pretty much unwatchable. They stayed in it for awhile, but then just destroyed the abysmal Redskins (sorry I just can’t call them Commanders). Just pick any new name after this year.

He’s not happy unless he’s in the news at least once every week or two. He’s so melodrama.- 63 replies

Outlook on McDermott if we turn it around
machine gun kelly replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
Unless they implode, the Pegulas are not firing McD. Get used to it. I’m not commenting on what I want, just what I expect so I’m hopeful they turn this around. -

Have a great one Scuba Steve. If you know that one I owe you a whole dollar. -
Another thread was started the other day on the tush push, and I’ll repeat what I wrote there. The referees strategy to slow this down is they are watching encroachment closely as the O Linemen on the Eagles sometimes cheat the LOS. It’s a topic of debate as the potential threat to players neck is high with all of those bodies. It will probably go away after the year. A traditional QB sneak is just fine and perfectly legal.

There's only one thing that can save this season now...
machine gun kelly replied to BillsPride12's topic in The Stadium Wall
It was a heartbreak. Who placed things back into perspective for me was Ross Tucker. He used to host the morning kickoff on NFLR and I asked him about that game. He stated they lost so many O Linemen towards the end of the year, they were pulling guys off the street. He stated basically, we couldn’t get it done so he took responsibility for not giving his QB the protection he needed in that game. He stated it was a terrible loss for him as he felt more of a part of Buffalo, than any other team he played on in the 8 years in the league. So it wasn’t just the fans who had their heart broken. Anyway, we wouldn’t ever done anything in the playoffs if they had pull off the upset. As far as a run, we’ll find this afternoon if Brady can be the difference. We need a convincing win today. -
Tush Push/Brotherly Shove/Rugby Scrums
machine gun kelly replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall
Chandman, rookie mistake. 😂🏈🏋️♀️ As far as the scrum, I was fine at first with the play, but several teams have tried it and some guys injured. Then I was listening to Movin the Chains and Pat made a salient point. He had Paul Alexander on, and another Rugby guy on different days, and the risk to a neck injury is a real possibility. Lately, refs have been more active in calling encroachment before this play as the linemen cheat the line. That’s their current plan, so I did say yes, make it illegal. I don’t ever want to see any player get a snapped neck. That would be horrible for the sport. It’s not that I don’t appreciate the physicality of the sport, but there is also a balance with safety. I don’t think the Eagles are cheating. I also am fine with the traditional QB sneak as Brady embarrassed teams forever, but it wasn’t a rush push. He knew how to get low quickly and get that last two feet. I know everyone hates Brady, but he was a master of the sneak. -
Seeing Buffalo going in this mock draft with D Lineman makes me sick. I know it’s silly, but Buffalo will revolt if that were to happen.

Who was behind the decision to fire Dorsey?
machine gun kelly replied to The Helmet of's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agreed GB, nothing as important as an OC firing doesn’t include the Pegulas, Beane and McD. We’ll never know and no one is going to talk about it later. It’s a futile discussion as it will stay behind jd closed doors. It’s the same in business. Unfortunately, I’ve had to let people go, but not until I’ve done everything I could to coach them up, and then it’s up to them. -
Should Dorsey come down to the sidelines?
machine gun kelly replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t think the booth IR the sidelines will determine anything, but moreso how he calls the offense, and I’m not impressed. I can’t believe I’m writing this, but an Allen led offense is boring. Dorsey has a lot to do with it. Joe Marino made a good point as well as Orlovsky last week in the option routes like the one Allen was nabbed for intentional grounding makes them play slower. Also, too much two by two on each side makes the Bills look predictable. -

Josh Allen Fined for the Taunting Penalty
machine gun kelly replied to Scott7975's topic in The Stadium Wall
I remember his wife with that crazy red curly hair. That was bad tv. At least Welcome Back Kotter was funny. At least we had All in the Family and MASH. It’s crazy almost all of the MASH actors are dead. Alan Alda os one of the last. Thanks as always Pony Boy. Stay Golden. Yeah, I know the reference. -

Three’s company embodies the 70’s. I remember Don Knott’s was Ralph Ferly, but I forgot what this landlord’s name. Too funny. Its funny as Larry in that show who was a stupid character, but in his elderly years has been a judge more times than I can count on Blur Bloods, Law and Order, and so on.
