Week 15 MNF: Steelers at Cincy
machine gun kelly replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I nodded off in the game. What fun. I never expected this one. -
Who do you guys want to play in the playoffs?

JB, wasn’t you bud and has been corrected. I was replying to you’re positive quote, not the second part at all. -

J, I don’t watch porn bud and sent you a personal message to explain. I’ve been in a sports locker room with guys and at the gym to hear lots of disgusting things I care never to repeat. It’s why I stated it in public. Bottom line, don’t be gross as far as others. -

I won’t say it, but change the Chi, for Quee. It’s disgusting Jaronimo, and I definitely was not speaking about you at all. You’ve never been anything but a gentleman on this board. My daughter is not a football fan other than the boys and I are fanatics, but I know a lot of women on this board, and must be my St. Francis upbringing, but I don’t care for that stuff. Mods handle almost all of it. Sorry if I’m acting like an alter boy, but a little miss here and there is fine with me. That word is seriously offensive to a woman, just like the C word. That’s all, and accept my apologies if you thought I meant something about you. Just scroll the thread. You’ll see it. -
MMQB on Josh Allen's development
machine gun kelly replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Others stated Allen’s positive comments in the off season, but he is on the Opening Drive on NFLR usually on Tuesday mornings. I’ve spoken to him several times and he plays it down to a fault, so maybe Palmer tells Allen to play it off as it helps Allen and Palmers business. The opposite is true as well as Palmer among others has Darnold living with Allen. If he has to take credit for Allen, then he would have to take responsibility for Darnold failures although it’s really the Jets failures. Smart move on Palmers part. Im sure he has on the down low guys like Allen or Burrow talking to rookies like Lawrence next year saying, hey take on this personal coach. It’s worth it. Do you guys really think the footwork change which by many smart ex QB’s has said Allen’s best improvement in accuracy is his footwork. That was all Palmer, and Allen’s drive to be the best. Daboll may get the credit, but he didn’t even get to spend time with him this off season. oalmer may have been a mediocre NFL backup QB, but he has turned into one heck of a good AB coach. He’s a smart guy. You can bet he and Daboll talked all off season on Allen’s development. -

beast, first agreed. Second, what a bunch of people are not thinking of is the politics. Do you think Cuomo isn’t playing politics to look like the hero allowing fans now that he can find a reason to say yes, and increase votes. I don’t care about that part if it means my local Buffalo buddies can go to a game, the most meaningful game in over 25 years. Third, Bass now knows the winds. I live near Christie, and amongst a couple of topics I asked him was he knew where the winds were coming from, and he and Kelly knew how to throw where which his words was an advantage. Allen must know by now after three years how to 0y different parts of the field. The man has a cannon for arm, but he also knows how to throw where. Pitt, TN, and so on do not know what tow of the three guys we need to know better than anyone (Bojo is the third). The rest are the WR’s. We have a team that can stay home, and practice probably outside, be used to knowing the field, and maybe the Governor gives us 14,000 fans. This team will feed off of that. Oh, and btw, they get to be with their families right after Xmas. Go get em Bills! Besides, don’t you guys want momentum with a team hot at 13-3, rest only for the really injured, and hot hitting playoff teams. Remember what happened when the Colts rested everyone under Dungy for a couple of weeks. Loss, or the Bills last year losing in the Wildcard after sitting everyone in the Jets game. Sit a guy like Diggs if his ankle is really hurting, but if not a ding, but a real injury, I get it. The injury list is minimal right now. -

Back at you JB. I respect the Chiefs, but I don’t fear them. Not anymore. Dollars to Donuts (sorry Donuts to easy steal you’re handle on this one), Pitt loses to either the Colts or Browns (they are just not that good, great defense but avg. at best offense). We can win the next two, and if Brown comes back for the Pats, I’m fine with sitting Diggs so we have him to seal it with the Fish. Every media outlet if we finish 13-3 will want us vs. the Chiefs. BTW, please out of respect for the ladies on this board, please don’t use the pornographic slang of the Chiefs name. I know you guys were excited, but we have ladies like the Dallas Cowgirl, and they don’t need to read that, nor any other loyal Bills lady fan on the board. Not calling anyone by name out, but please we are good guys. Sincerely thank you in advance, and yeas at times I get upset about teams like when Aaron Williams was cheap shorter, but we are better than that. All of us. -
Teddy Bruschi on Josh Allen
machine gun kelly replied to Mailman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Please, Please, Please do. I opened by accident and scanned the first (I don’t know why), and I could care less what an ex patriot has to say. During the broadcast he was very positive about the Bills and Allen. -
ESPN NFL Playoff Machine (Updated December 22nd)
machine gun kelly replied to TSNBDSC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It’s not the snow, but if you compare Allen’s arm to Mayfield, I’ll take Allen. He may have to throw a little more shallow whoever we play in 45 mph winds, but we ran all over NE when we played in high winds. If Cleveland, they have a better run game, but we have a better defense and passing game. Our secondary is much much better than theirs. -

I honestly don’t care as no one concerns me, until we get to the Chiefs. They will be a handful, but I’ve come around to us being able to beat them. -
And on top of this...we get John Brown back...
machine gun kelly replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Estro, if they do that, expect lots of blitzes as they have no one to chip block. That’s why most teams don’t even do many four WR sets. We’ve made it work as our WR’s can be very physical. I like Moss in there if for nothing else, but a very good block to give Allen just 1-2 more seconds to hit guys deep. Going five wide means a short pass. -
But think about it, Brees has been one of the most underrated QB’s the last 20 years and has never won MVP. It’s too bad as we’ve heard so much about Brady and Manning, amd Brees has far more 70% completion years than those two. All three are HOF’ers. Allen needs to win in the playoffs and everyone will notice.

Trout, I should know this so my apologies, but the Jags had a division win, and the Jets had a non conference win. I guess strength of schedule? -
Week 15 Around The League

Bragger. Glad you had a good weekend. Sounds like a little extra in the stockings for the kiddos this week when Santa comes to town. -
F*** Kirk, You got to throw the ball!
machine gun kelly replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The issue is you’re hearing with no fans what has been mostly been said all along. I’m not sure he was just pissed the ball wasn’t caught vs. being pissed at Cousins. Probably, but when I played, f bombs were not that uncommon. Usually not directed at their QB, but it happens. Then again, I blew it once when I truly didn’t mean to when I dropped a deadlift in a meet as it slipped out of one hand, and I instantly regretted it, not to mention the booing from fans. My point is simply these guys are competitors and sometimes just without thinking scream out an obscenity in anger. -
A good man knows when to change gears. Well done Mango. Now that we’re farther into the year, it’s clear this is a very different team, amd a different year for the league so it’s hard to compare previous years. We all do it, but I’ve come to realize we’re treading on different ground.
-
Well, as of now he’s pushed his career completion % up to 61.2%, amd if you just take his 4000, and divide by 14, then avg. out the next two, Allen will be up to 4573 yards for the year. His lifetime professional % will go up too, and maybe these schmuck talking heads just cannot keep saying Allen is garbage or not to be trusted, etc. OP, I like how you keep this thread going each week so thanks bud.

Jkeerie, I’m finally at the point where I agree with you on this team vs. the glory one. I’m not old enough to know how the AFL Champion Bills with Kemp and Gilchrist, but things weren’t as public. I remember the SB Bills of the late 80’s and 90’s, and the bickering between on TV between Jimbo and Thurmon blaming each other for mistakes. I also remember Polian, not Marv havin a direct conversation with them basically telling them to cut it out. They did and they grew from it. My Dad has a family friend who used to clean the plane the Bills took on away games. I can’t remember the airlines he worked for at the time, but as you can speculate, the back of the plane was a mess with what, liquor, tons of beer cans, and so on, and so on. Guess who used to sit in that section, yep, Jimbo, Thurmon, Bruce and company. Now I don’t care about guys blowing off steam, but this team now is so buttoned up, Beane and McD built the culture so this would never happen. We have a special team now, that is not only balanced in all three phases of the game, has a great culture, no bickering nor infighting we know of at least, and as soon as Lsain became disgruntled, he was shown the door. It was quick and respectful of the player. As far as the game Virg.,well written as always and it shows you wait to stay on key. You reminded me it was Bill from NYC (that was a nice touch) who started this weekly thread. We owe you Bill. As far as the point not being afraid of any other team, I see in the near future as the mystic from the East, the Great Carnac the Magnificent. The Bills stand toe to toe with the Mighty Chiefs in the AFCC, and Josh Allen drives the Bisons of the East down on the last drive with an acrobatic catch by Diggs, and wha la, The Bills are going back to the SB! sim sala bim. The Great Carnac has spoken. That was for you oh great one Bill from NYC.

An Ode to a 25 Year Journey
machine gun kelly replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not grey yet, but have fond memories of those days and even further when Knox turned around a beaten down team to win the AFCE back in 80. I normally don’t like very long posts (yes I’m guilty of them too from time to time), but this was worth reading twice. Thanks Chevy!
