  1. First, I certainly believe 99% of football fans in the US even know Bills came from a naming contest in 1946 by the first Bills team. Even so, 99.9% of young Americans even know who is Buffalo Bill Cody, nor what he actually was known to do 150 years ago. If the Dolphins can actually have a dolphin, and so on, what is the harm if humanely treated borrowing and training a Buffalo from one of these farms. Honestly, I don’t even know if you can train a Buffalo. Some animals can’t be trained. You can’t train an alligator. Honestly, I’ve never heard anyone on this board is a licensed Veteranarian, but if so, please enlighten us lay people.
  2. I don’t know what’s going on with Tegna, but CBS is blocked down here in FL. These organizations need to get their head out of their arses as people will switch providers. As far as the Steelers, we’ll if we win, sure, but a KC win this year would have been even better. Like The Rolling Stones said, “Tou can’t always get what you want, but sometimes you get what you need”. For the young crew, that’s a band from before you’re born, and still touring in rockers.
  3. Thanks Jack. I don’t study the refs that closely so do you like this line up tonight?
  4. Miami and the Saints beating KC? Not likely. The Chargers will never beat the Chiefs, and probably not the Fins. The Steelers have us, but they then have the Bengals, Colts, and Browns. I seriously doubt with this schedule we get the #1 seed. The best we could hope fir is the #2 assuming the Steelers go on a skid and lose to us and the Colts, and Browns. I don’t see it happening. There is no advantage to #2 given we can beat any of the wildcard teams. I’m more concerned we finish strong with momentum, and no matter the seeding the Bills starters play at least the first half of the Fins game (meaning the seeding won’t change, and they treat it like a bye).
  5. It would be kind of funny this makes the national media, on the pre game show, then plying renegade the whole game on every 1st down. That would be funny, but I do agree it’s just hazing. Its not worth actually getting upset.
  6. Feliciano a back up? Ford will be fortunate to start. Boettger looks great and has been developed by this staff for two years. Our O Line gave Allen so much time last week against a top 5 defense all year in SF. The week before we ran for over 200 yards. I completely understand Kroft, Murphy, Norman, and possible one of the defensive lineman.
  7. We don’t know where we are year with Davis and Hodgins. Davis has been a fourth WR, and done well. That is very different than a #2. These coaches and Mgmt will know to keep Diggs, Brown and Beasely. Brown and Beasely are 30 and 31. I know Brown is up after next year, and Beasely has one beyond that. To get top flight WR’s at $9 mil, and $7.25 mil. Is another great deal for Beane. Even Diggs who leads the league in receptions and targets, even with his escalation of his current contract (notice I said escalation as we didn’t increase his salary, we just moved it up for him) we still had a deal in our WR corps. Davis and Hodgins could be our future, or not. Drafting for even a HOF GM like Polian and Wolf believe they only hit around 57-58% lifetime for them. I’m encouraged so don’t get me wrong, but I’m not giving up a fantastic tool for us in Brown. If he gets extended as suggested for two years, that’s fine, and Beasely won’t be here after his contract. Just roll with what you have and take you’re time developing the big guys. They might end up #2 and #3 down the road, and Bills fans would be happy. Keep McKenzie around as long as he remains this quick. His speed will fade in a couple of years, but is a very valuable asset right now. Don’t mess with what brought you here. We, I can’t believe I’m saying it because it hasn’t been since the Kelly years are a high powered offense based on a very dynamic passing offense. I would never give up Brown as of now. Why? Because he’s hurt.
  8. Remember “African, Lyon Safari” when we were kids. I remember the Bisons when we used to go in the summer. Those were some fun memories.
  9. I stand corrected oh great Hapless one. Side note, want to get excited about football? The Express was just on NFLN. One of my all time favorites regarding football and life. God, I’m pumped for tomorrow. Reminds of my playing days where you can’t do anything but think about it 24 hours in advance.
  10. Should’ve jumped in his pouch John. 🏈🏋️‍♂️👹🦘🦘🦘🦘
  11. Like the Donkey from Shrek Hap.? Reminds me of a couple people we know (Gugs, Don, GB, Donuts 😇😂🤣😅). You’re donkey talks, yeah it’s gettin him to shut up that’s the trick. Just kidding guys as I luv ya all. That was my kids favorite animated movie growing up. I knew you guys could take a little kidding. Lets Go Buffalo! You realize the next thing is having a naming contest. House Buffalo, Ridgeway Buffalo, Simon Buffalo, Chandman Buffalo. Guess we’ll have to keep working on it. God, I can’t wait for tomorrow night.
  12. Wiz, you are the man, but some advice, DON’T WATCH ESPN. Just kidding bud. I gave up on them years ago. MNF and that’s about it.
  13. I like Fergs, but that was funny.
  14. That would have to be a very creative deal if a new deal after 2021. The impact of the cap hit is going to effect teams this next year. We are financially sound now, but Allen playing out his 5th year will earn him a better payoff thereafter. Beane has nothing to prove. That is just silly. He an McD has built up a fantastic team over the last three years. If Beane can swing it in 2022, knowing he has Edmunds, and even though people keep trying hard to argue, the team knows the value of resigning Milano.
  15. Or there is a purpose behind the OP’s thread.
  16. Ok, this is moving into the stalker realm. You know the colleges he went to visit before Wyoming.
  17. Beane gave a nice interview on MTC today.
  18. Well said SC. Brown’s not going anywhere. If a person has eyes, they’ll see (not you) the difference when Brown is healthy in our offense, or similarly this like threads about Milano. Look at healthy Milano playing and it makes our defense work. We have a line looking like it’s coming together, and maybe we even see more running this week. The key about this week is the Bills defense has been able to take away opposing offenses best thing like Henry to under 80 yards, etc. What will they take away from the Steelers. My thought is in The Bills will take Conner away as it’s his first post Covid IR and active, and make the Steelers needing to pass over 50 times, and have to take 8 minutes to actually matriculate the ball down the field. We light their defense up with Allen’s big time throws and bingo bango, we win.
  19. You know this week, WGR in the morning has been posing the question different ways about the SB chances, and what would need to happen, or what is the one position deficiency. There is a lot of cautious optimism. I thought whoever wins the AFC should win the SB. I’m almost afraid to say it, but if it’s not the Chiefs, it could be us. The Saints are solid, but they are beatable.
  20. GB, I think we’re saying similar things as you’re right, we can lose to a number of playoff teams, but the Chiefs for me me is the White Whale.
  21. This is a bit premature. I’m enjoying them losing as much as anyone else, but they could get their opt outs back next year, have a decent draft and be in it. Their days of domination are over, and I just don’t know how long BB will coach. I was thinking the other day, if BB has another mediocre year next year, I could see Kraft going to him and asking him to elevate McDaniels to head coach, he takes on the GM or President role and not be the face of the franchise for his last years. The reality is I don’t care as McBeane is creating a long term top organization that will receive a ton of recognition after this weekend when we hopefully beat the Whiners (Steelers).
  22. In 14 years, he’s never had a losing record. He’s had a few 8-8’s, but outside of Belichick, I think has the most winning record in present day coaching.
  23. Gugs, everyone’s entitled to their opinion, amd I too M not crazy about the red ones. I like even worse though red, on white. Reminds me of the crappy Pats from the 80’s and 90’s.
  24. Tim, as long as we beat both teams by 21, I’m in. Is that an ok compromise? I’m bouncing back and forth on the Rams game and something else, and fun seeing 17-3 at the half. Now waking up tomorrow and the Rams win by 40 would be a nice start to a Friday. Then we can finally stop hearing the Pats are coming back crap.
  25. The only team concerning me is the Chiefs for obvious reasons. We will have to be at the top of our game scoring to beat them. The Browns yes have played mostly bad teams, their defense GB is opportunistic, and they run well. That said, it won’t be easy for Chubb to run when we are throwing 20+ yard passes down the field torching them. Sal made a good point this morning Allen was #1 for the season with the most passes of this distance in a game against the 49ers, a top 5 defense all year of any NFL team. That will take the Chiefs off their comfort zone and the game will be forced to be in the hands of Mayfield. He can’t compete with Allen nor can any other QB from the 18 class. The Chiefs are the only team we have to be seriously concerned how we can beat them. I just hope we have everyone including a healthy defense (Milano) and Brown. I’m a huge Bills Homer as all of you know, but I know we can beat any other AFC contender on a decent day. They also can beat us. Not cocky. Beating the Chiefs will be us at our best. Shady, thanks for starting a good discussion thread. Tim, I get it, but I guess being a competitor 100 years ago, I hate the record shows we were 10-6 last year when we would have been 11-5 without even trying if the starters played. It didn’t help us in the playoffs like it didn’t help the Dungy Colts. I’d rather have guys in a rhythm, even if it means the starter only play a half or 3 quarters. These guys are creatures of habit.
