  1. I don’t like the immediately post draft grades, “draft expert” decide where players should be valued. But they are not scouts and they are almost never correct. We don’t always know the circumstances either. A player might fit one system over another. We will truly be able to grade these in 4 years. that being Said, if Beane thought Elam was worth the pick, he was worth the pick…same for every round. final grade A 🤷🏻‍♂️
  2. She been a hilarious and very open follow on Twitter, from her crushes on the handyman that comes to do repairs to DT having an affair with one of Rick James’ entourage.
  3. Pros: punter that can truly flip the field…the #1 defense just went from starting at their 35+ to starting inside their 25. Pros: while hopefully never used, as a left footed kicker the onside game could’ve gotten interesting, especially with the new rules. cons: Holding, are we going to see 2 punters with one a designated holder? I’ve said this in previous posts. He was a kicker too and obviously didn’t hold his own kick. Bojo ruined Crosby this past year, I don’t want to see Bass have a setback. We’ll lose more games with a 10% lower FG % over a 10+ yard punting difference. So I’m actually saying, keep MH too as a designated holder.
  4. I guarantee he floated out several offers to several CBs (including Gilmore) he know that they are waiting to see if they can get more leverage after the draft..at least 2 will return to Beane with hands opened
  5. I think Edmunds is definitely playing for the Bills in 2022…that being said the real concern is we only have a single LB until contract after 22, Edmunds would have leverage and someone will offer him 15 million a year. I’m not sure we can afford to do that. With all of money spent on several positions, LB isn’t an area we might want to spend. So bringing in a rookie in the 2nd or later makes sense. I also believe we might see a return to the 4-3 a little more. Especially against 3 teams in the AFC east that want to establish the run.
  6. 57. Breece Hall RB Iowa State 89. Alontae Taylor CB Tennessee 137. Zach Tom OT Wake Forest 168. Damarri Mathis CB Pittsburgh 185. Velus Jones Jr. WR Tennessee 203. Tanner Conner WR Idaho State 244. Austin Allen TE Nebraska 253. Cole Kelley QB SE Louisiana 2023 CAR 1st 2023 CAR 2nd 2023 CAR 3rd So I went in another direction…all the CBs and WRs I wanted were not there. Carolina came calling. They offered 1, 2 and 3 next year…healthy chance it’s going to be a top 15 pick…but also a 2nd and a 3rd. so I had to take it. Hall was there at 57, it was between him and CTB…I went RB pick 89 I went CB, Taylor is an exceptional athlete and has the ability to play man or zone. He could start as a rookie. 137- went with the athletic Tom, he would be a good future starter in this wide zone offense. 168- got the Pitt secondary player our draft requires and pushes to be CB 5 or 6. 185-our KR, speed and physical, gets good YAC, older prospect…but could be WR 5. 203-hey look at 6’3 230 pound WR has a 40 inch vert and ran a 4.37…I wish I had a 3 cone on him. Could be used as a Deebo type 253- project QB, not needed…6’7” 250…would make Josh look small TE and LB are still needs…wish I could’ve found the right ones
  7. I didn’t know this was a thing, I guess I should also acknowledge my 20th was March 20th. Can’t believe we’ve been on here so long
  8. I am a fan of his, he can play CB2 without an issue, he is highly competitive against the pass...but he is also someone that can support the run and runs a sub 4.4 forty. He is the anti Wallace, physical, athletic and fast.
  9. Surprised there’s no love for the Dolphins…especially if you read their messages boards, Twitter accounts and instagram content accounts. They think they’re ready to take over the AFC. the AFC west is so strong, I can’t see a number 1 sead coming from there, I think they’ll get the #3.
  10. What does this do to the cap as we sit here? Do we have room to get a vet CB now? Did this open up money?
  11. I am with you, last year my guy was Pete Werner, who played well for the Saints, but was drafted right before Buffalo's pick. I have a feeling that had he been available he would have been our pick at 61. But Chad Muma could be the future MLB in Buffalo.
  12. Easy, yes if all you need to make a dominant team is a above average one. where we stand currently, I am very pro drafting a guard early. 4/5 of our OL is average or above. but we need a CB2 or CB1. White and Jackson would be fine, but Tre Might not be there yet. I don’t want to start a rookie, but we might not have a choice. I am pro packaging the round two and next years 1st (hopefully pick 32) to move up to 19 and get Booth, then Zion Johnson at 25…both are battle tested and could start as rookies
  13. 100% He is head and shoulders better. He’s a hidden gem right now, he’s going to end up being a 2nd round pick.
  14. 100% agree, my hope is we package some picks to move back into the 3rd. my ultimate hope is the QB love continues to rise. Allowing a CB to fall back to 25.
  15. Same here, school was incredibly competitive in my field of choice. I had friends, but I was also dating my first wife. Needless to say, we never really hung out after graduation..I never hear from them at all. They all went on to much better places. I burned out, married the girl, moved to a place my degree could have been a liberal arts degree…6 years after that I divorced the first wife, she was my last attachment to the school all together. I honestly didn’t care too much for those friends and looking back 23 years ago, I didn’t like me as a person. Oddly, I’m still friends with high school friends, but I feel I was more of myself then.
  16. I know his play was less than great playing for the Chargers, but is the 29 year old Trai Turner an option at RG? He had a better season last year in Pittsburg, according to PFF he was the 30th ranked guard and as you all know he was in Carolina with Dorsey and Sean where he was a 5 time Pro Bowler. I'd feel good with him playing RG, his natural position for Buffalo
  17. Funny enough last year, according to PFF he went back into coverage 69 times and had a coverage score of 90.9...so he's not bad
  18. Somewhere Darren Sharper and Micheal Vick are questioning all of this.
  19. he is the ultimate Lorax! If we play 4-3 he’s a OLB, in nickel his ability in coverage opens up the playbook 3-3-5. So many options!
  20. I could see a scenario where Hall would be the pick, but unfortunately not in the first. If he somehow lasted to our 2nd round and the WR/CB position is weakened…I’m all for it. But the separation at RB isn’t as severe as the CB. Hall is a low tier 1 RB..spiller and Walker are not far behind him as high tier 2 RB…but we could still draft get a mid tier 2 in the 4th. CB has a lot of tier 1, few 2 and a lot of 3. If we decide that’s where CB2 is…we have to get him early and we might need to double down on the position. I know BB has a great ability of finding late CBs. But we need to find a plus athlete starter at CB. give me McDuffie/Booth/Gordon in round one and Marcus Jones in round 3 (early I know, but could be our next McGee, also plays WR) Round 2…I’d love a speed guy for WR. Watson would be a dream. Big, fast with big ole mitts, raw route guy, but gets separation with shear size and speed. 4th round get a RB…still tier 2s available.
  21. I'd rather spend a little more on the OL in Free agency and take a CB in round one. I do like Tyler Smith though.
