Well.....I will admit it....I was advocating
frogger replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree, teague is too small to play center, where tucker is bigger and has MUCH better balance he isn't fast and may not reach the linebackers, in Pass protection he anchors well, and when running he moves DTs a little better, teague is a wall off style blocker. which doesn't work well on the inside. -
jamal lewis reaches plea agreement

If I were to sell Cocain to kids and parents and make a whole lot of money off it, I wonder if the court system would wait for me to retire before I have to serve my jail sentance, assuming of course that I get caught. To the judge who agreed or the pros. Jail is not..." hey do you think you could fit this into your schedule" Jail is punishment and is to take you away from your freedom. Ths upsets me -
You gotta like about Bush, he looks straight ahead
frogger replied to Kelly the Dog's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
it wasn't only Kerry doing it, Bush did it as well, Kerry just looked more like a president doing it. Changing your mind is part of being human, EVERY Bill fan last year was hoping that Killdrive would start running the ball, if he had listen to us, would he be a Flip Flopper? God Allows U-turns -
Despite how you feel about Kerry....
frogger replied to Buftex's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
to me it seemed that Bush was ready to do a 30 minute debate...However it was 90 minutes, he wasn't ready for this debate, when in fact this should have been bush's strongest case, he tried so hard to enforce the label of a "flip Flop" but I feel not only did Kerry defend his believe, but he made Bush look like a fool. Bush did not win, even if you read it. Kerry was a stronger debater...almost a master debater-had to. Give one point to Kerry. Bush didn't look like a President, he looked like a college frat boy trying to debate a professer. Also, can't drink with Bush, he doesn't drink anymore after a few DUIs he had to stop. However if you have Coke -
Anyone else think that ross Tucker looked good at center in the preseason, he has better size, better balance and better brains than Teague, I think part of the reason Bledsoe gets sacked so often is teague plays solid but he gets pushed back easier than any other lineman in the league, creating lanes to blitz LBer and forces Bledsoe to move further back where Jennings and Williams are pushing DEs.-run on.

do you know how many times I have seen PCU, enough to know that one of the house members is wearing a house of guitars shirt and it says rochester, NY under it, and the fat guy, I believe his name was gunner is Jon Favreau of Swingers fame. in that same mold one can not forget Old School.

Donnie Darko-don't know why but I can pop it into the player and watch it almost anytime. N Dynomite-the MTV movie(out now) it's Funny, not when you are watching it, as much as later after you think about it, and you start making fun of it. Garden State-another new one, it's very good, a bit of a chick flick but worth seeing with a date.

by "keeping prayer in School"-you are saying that some public school are. While I have no problem with prayer and hell knows I've done it before a Basketball game or test that I didn't study for. but do I believe it should be something added to class. No. what a student does on his or her time in the quiet moments between classes, or study hall is there own business, however I don't believe in a teachers leading it, not when there are so many different children with so many different back grounds. Prayer is popular in schools in the Middle east where they have little options.

i am actually really trying not to bash Bledsoe, there is nothing I would rather see than Bledsoe to turn it around and come back stronger after this bye week. I would rather say, at the end of the year, that we shouldn't have traded that 1st rounder to draft someone who never had a chance of playing, while bledsoe was here. I just want to win, is that so much to ask, I am not a george bush fan, duh, but if he played QB for us and got us a super bowl win, i might have a change of heart (insert Flip flop joke here)

I believe this line is better than 2002, yet his numbers are not. In a way that is why I really can't wait for Losman to return his ability to leave the pocket and head up field will cause nightmares to DCs, like McNabb does. causing more DLM to stay at home and LBs to cheat up.

I am trying to find what the reason is behind bledsoe's fall from being a Pro Bowler to one of the worse QBs in the league. I think he is having troubles with depth, maybe his perception is off. Which would explain the number of times a WR has been under thrown in what seems like an easy to complete pass by NFL QB standards. It also explains the dump off to Henry that was to high and caused an int. WRs are open, there is no way that 3 1st round WR can be covered (I consider Reed a 1st since he was projected there and he was drafted so early in the 2nd round) i feel that bledsoe isn't making those thows because he is afraid to under throw it or over throw it. think back when was the last time you saw bledsoe "place" a ball and not just wing it at an open WR, not including the strike to Evans how many out patterns has Bledsoe thrown. Compare him with other QBs and you'll see. I imagine getting hit so many times has a lot to do with it.

Bills 51 Raiders 3 they don't know Bo. Sorry, Flash Back

during preseson i figured that the reason McGahee was used on the goal line so often was so that in that situation we could use him, maybe be our Rob Riddick of sorts. instead we expect our weak interior to push their strong interior, plunging henry into the endzone. note to mike, use what works don't worry about players feelings. henry has never and may never fit the short yardage style running back that is needed.

Okay, Nate clements is young and athletic but Jimmy Smith has been one of the better WRs in the last ten years, where was the help? would you leave a single CB on Moulds in a 4th and long? where was Izell reese or Wire, Did they miss one of the best WR in the league, or did the coaching staff set up a defense that failed? now the good news is, we loss, we got it out of the way, now the pressure is released and they can get back to football...and dancing like idiots on the field after a meaningless 2nd down sack, or making a tackle where they still gained yardage.

actually Steve Christie is not availible, he kicked a f'ing 53 yarder yesterday for the giants.

Remeber Last year week2 Bills-Jags game???
frogger replied to NfLiCoNz80's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
you are right on Paper we should kill them, but the amazing thing is, this isn't tick tack toe and it's not played on paper. Jack del Rio is going to be a great coach in the NFL, BL is an impressive QB, where we can win is at pass rushing they have two par tackles and an average interior that can be overpowered, a heavy rotation should wear them out. Also Fred taylor isn't 100% (when was the last time he was) so it is possible to stop him behind a small line. Jimmy smith is a vet, he is crafty and reggie williams is a solid rookie* WR as well. Don't be too amazed to see McGahee play better against the jags than henry, their DL is solid in the middle and McGahee bounces outside better. *for a rookie he'll play well over the year -
(OT) Just got back online...how did the rest fair?
frogger replied to envirojeff's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
the worse thing about this storm was the wait, and believe it or not I didn't lose power, after being without for a few days after Charlie hit. the power company did a great job in making sure that the lines were stronger, although others were not so lucky. I don't have any trees (after charlie) so i had that going for me, which is nice, so that means nothing could really hit my house. Which is a block house with a rock roof and almost no amount of wind could knock it down. now we wait for Ivan. Frogger (Belle Isle) -
game 1-Jax-unless they did something great to improve their pass defense this offseason they are still the Jags-win Game two oak-BIG DL, and sure their d has to be better, but who is on offense that scares us-Win Bye- a great chance to review the tapes and see what NE does well NE-the problem NE has the same bye and they out match us-But damn it it's close.-Loss NJJ-Win, can you name their CBs, while there offense can put up points we will too.-Win Miami-I can't wait, no ricky, no Boston, no QB, no OL, defense is getting old-WIN Balt-IF we can contain Lewis or if he is at his trial we have a shot, their defense is amazing, but they are able to be beat, see baxter-up in the air Arizona-win, no way we lose to them. NJJ-win see above NE-win, they have to lose to us, we'll be on a role and beat them at there house. STL-they're good on offense, if our offense is clicking, it will be close but after a win like NE we are bound to lose-Loss Seattle-I like Seattles chances this year, good all around-Loss Mia-WIN-offense wakes up after two week struggles cleveland-Win Cinci-Win they're still Cinci-no matter who is the coach, and on paper there defense is offensive SF-this is called a stat builder-win Pitts-pittsburgh will be out of the playoff picture, and TM will lose out to rookie BR-we win, Schobel will collect his 15th sack at this point and we are on the way to the playoffs.

Not to many Safeties that started there career at LB are great at first, I think that LM hurt the impressive progress he was making last year in camp. If you were to ask me prior to the pick up if LM was a need, I may have said no, he is a good player, nay a great player. He was the reason we beat the Pats the first game. But the rest of the season i would have liked to see more coy, remember what he did to stewart. Coy is one of the best teamates in the locker room (from what I heard). For a 3rd round he was solid. I still to day can't figure out the Mike Williams pick....Bryant McKinnie is on his way to becoming the next jon Odgen. Mike Williams if he is lucky may be the next Lincoln Kennedy. who would you have rather had. kelsay is going to be solid this year, no question. the good thing about MM is he found a way to get ward the ball, in a foot race Reed might be able to beat ward, and this preseason Reed seems to be running very crisp routes. I am not expecting a 1000 year, but 800 would be nice, Moulds should get 1200, if healthy, and when reed starts to struggle Evans will finally be ready and get an additional 500 yards. you need role players too, and just be happy that none of these guys are Eric Flowers Or tillman-That was a bad draft, this is nothing to that.

two days after Charlie I am back to work, helping as many people as I could, because we got lucky, it wasn't an act of god that saved my house, it was the fact the trees in my back yard sit 100 feet back and they couldn't reach. I saw several people in worse shape, houses split in half by trees, houses without roofs. i got lucky. All i had to do is pick up the 3 very large trees in my back yard, but there wasn't enough time. if you were to ho to the front of my house there is a mound of tree branches and logs that is over my head (i'm 6'4"). In the back yard remains the rest of the trees, the City of Orlando/private workers that make a fortune off this, have not had enough time from the last strorm, cleam up was said to take months. Now those branches and logs become the most dangerous things. I hate this feeling, it's like there is nothing we can do, this storm is going to hit Orlando with more force than Charlie. We had winds of over 105 miles per hour, and that destroyed lives, now there saying that the winds could reach the 120 mark. this sucks, I worry far to much, My in laws live with me, and my wife is in NYC covering the republican. My mother in law has brest cancer and had her first kemo treatment yesterday the 31st, there is no way to move her if this strom hits, and my wife is cuban, and from Miami (don't worry she hates the Dolphins), meaning my In laws don't speak english, and I don't speak spanish, this is really a great feeling. Franny and Charlie are going to form an X on my house! I walk out into the eye.
