I recently rewatched the 2017 week 2 meeting between Buffalo and Carolina. A couple of thoughts... week one, Carolina gave up zero sacks, the Bills sacked Newton 6 times in the week 2 meeting and constantly confused him, this was the only the 2nd game Coach McDermott and Coach Frazier had this team. The Bills gave up 9 total points. Cam was not accurate and Benjamin saved him. His lack of accuracy will be even more noticeable in the Pats offense. Other thought. -the Panthers gave up on Cam and replaced him with a journeyman QB (Bridgewater) -no one seemed interested in Newton during free agency -the Patriots have so little faith in him that they offered him a 1 year deal worth almost nothing, both parties will say it’s a prove it deal...that cam “just wants to win” but the truth is he’s now Brian Hoyer. regarding coaching, people will site the OC’s experience with Tebow as an example of his ability to tailor a offense to Newton. I just don’t buy it, if he plays the Tebow roll he won’t last 3 games and Newton (on a one year deal) won’t be as physical as Tebow was. Bottomline; Newton is no more than a bridge QB. With the loses on Defense (3 LBs) the pats are just simply not going to be as good. They are a 6 win team.

I have a solution to all of this. It might not be 100% legal and it may require a VPN, but it’s a lot cheaper that Directv. message me.

I feel the difference between past GMs and coaching staffs and this one is. They are really good at identifying players that come prepared.

I am on the team that believes Norman is a system CB, leave it to Washington to believe he could play in a system that wasn’t McDermott’s. He also gave up on Washington, I think ownership and coaching (or lack of) made the situation intolerable.

My unpopular opinion, had we stuck with fitz and not drafted EJ in 2014, Buffalo would have made the playoffs.

I have not, but since I get mileage from my company, the car has actually made me money. Up till the batteries dying, I was get 38-44 miles per gallon while getting 57 cents per mile...so on an average, I was making more than $20 a gallon.

The car has 130k on it, outside sales is a lot of driving. thank you all for responding. i will call to be sure, but I think I’m either going to pay a bunch to get the batteries replaced or just trade it in. Over the 5 years I’ve had it, I’ve saved a bunch on gas.

Hoping someone knows, I’ll start with I’m not a car guy, I have one, I like having one, I use mine a lot. 5 years ago I bought a Ford Fusion hybrid (spare me the obvious criticism, I already explained, not a car guy) up until last week it was very reliable and provided me with excellent gas mileage. I do outside B2B sales, driving almost 200 miles a day isn’t unheard of. but then, I smelled an odor, it was a weird chemical odor. So I brought the car home, traded out for my wife’s car and continued my day. Now the car won’t start, battery is completely dead. We looked up the smell and it seems the batteries are done. Question; can I jump start it? Should I jump start it? obviously I’m going to get rid of the car. But, I’m not sure I can get it to a dealership to trade it in. Any advise is helpful.

I think they’re an 6 win team at best, Bill will get them prepared and he’ll coach them to a few wins (any given Sunday scenario) Defensively they’ll still be good, but I just can’t see them Scoring more than 12 points a game.

This was a terrible draft, I don’t mean for Buffalo, but for all 32 teams. We are just lucky Buffalo didn’t have a lot of needs, I wouldn’t be surprised if we only kept 3 players from this weekend. Not because of bad picks, but not enough room. How I view our fellow AFC Easters, Jets drafted the most overrated player in the draft round 1, followed it up with an incomplete WR, but they did get a good backup RB... Miami drafted to replace; their QB that Game managed his new team to the AFC championship, a tackle that is elite for Houston and a first team all pro DB who is a steeler. bottom line, they are worse than they were in 2018, slightly better than their 2019 team. NE- drafted a gadget player, a LB that Can blitz, but will be exposed in coverage and a bunch of guys that would fill Buffalo’s Practice squad. They didn’t improve and should resemble the the pre Brady and pre Bledsoe days. I am feeling pretty good.

Zack moss and Gibson could fall into the third.

Agree, I think it’s finally clicking for him, everything we are looking for. Size 6’2” 215 and speed. 3 year 27 million. Dante Fowler is my other choice, since moving to LA he’s been an excellent outside rusher. If we keep Lawson and go into next year with Dante/Hughes-Harry/Star-Oliver/Free agent-Shaq/Murphy, I think we’ll be in good shape.

What if it’s not noise, my concern is we don’t truly know the scope of how bad this is. Maybe, they aren’t telling us the whole truth out of fear it could create mass hysteria. On the flip side, maybe they know the potential this has and they are warming everyone as if this is an end times illness, when in actuality, it’s not, but they want to control fast. Either way, I’m taking it seriously. Best case scenario, we laugh about it in a few months.
