  1. Back before I lost the password for my previous name…was TSN back then.
  2. Davis vs Wyatt, Davis is a huge run stopping creature, he is a game changer in the run game, but offers little more than a hand in the face as a rusher, he is a 2 down DT, with Buffalo's rotation it would work. Wyatt is more three tech, he could be a 1 tech, but he would be similar to lining Oliver in that position, who did okay but it's not his best spot. But you never have to take Wyatt off the field and he chases players down the field. Jones in the 2nd is a water down blend of the two, he has all the abilities to be a quality starter. But, with the way Harrison and Oliver ended the year and assuming we can re-sign Phillips I'd rather bring in a FA. Two free agents that I think could be reasonable and could fill these needs are Fatukasi and Austin Johnson. I firmly believe that 1st round, if we keep the pick, will be a corner...can't pay White, Poyer, Hyde, Johnson, Neal AND a starting Free agent CB or Wallace...not to mention we don't have an update on White's health yet. I'm a fan of both of the corner in Washington, Booth and McCreary in the first and double dip in the 4th or late third and get Marcus Jones, fast, twitchy and a great returner...he also isn't tall (why he falls)..I think Tyreek Hill wins on speed and leverage, not saying he is a Hill stopper, but as an athlete, no one might come closer than Jones.
  3. I agree, he'll go before the 6th, he's a fantastic athlete and there will be several teams that think they can take a 6'4" 210 pound corner and make him the next Sherman, but he losses his man on the outside and he isn't smooth in his back peddling, ideally he will be converted to a box safety to press TEs on passing downs. He would be a good pick up for the Bills in the later round, playing the Dolphins and Pats...along with the growing number of teams with a featured TE (KC for example) a player like Woolen could be a helpful, but you don't draft him early. but yes the Raiders will likely draft him in the 2nd round, he is their type of player.
  4. The thing about Edmunds is nothing is flashy, he hasn’t had the protection upfront that some of the great MLBs have had and his father was a Dolphin (sarcasm?)….lastly, I think there’s a perception he has his eye on the door and doesn’t have the Buffalo of bust attitude Tre and Josh have. but he’s been solid in his role
  5. I think this means we are saying goodbye to Wallace and we’ll find his replacement early in the draft. We can’t afford to pay our secondary this much without finding a cheap, young starter.
  6. I like this draft a lot, I think Smith converts to a guard that can play early, while Woolen had a good senior week and will likely measure well at the combine or pro day. I don’t think he’ll be more than a gadget player in the NFL, a big nickel to cover TEs and a special team contributor. I think he’s drafted at the right spot in your mock.
  7. I’m all for the releasing, restructuring and extending. Bates is a no brainer, Harrison Phillips too. I’m not bringing back Hughes, but I am Addison, he has a 2 million dollar cap hit, so just roll that into part of his salary of 3 million. I’m offering McKenzie 2.5 million. If he takes it, great, if not, oh well. Ike and Zimmer, min deals, could be helpful in December when recovered enough. I’m not bring Wallace back, I’m pulling off that bandaid. I am cutting Klein, Star (after June 1st) Beas, mongo, Williams & extending Edmunds to lower cap hit this year. Still holding onto hope Ford reaches potential, so I’m keeping him as part of the 90. But if we are really talking all in.. extending White, Dion, Poyer and Diggs. This could add easily another 20 million 1-signing Berrios, because I cut Cole. He takes over the slot and returning duties. Better YAC, using Miami connection of our new OC. Replaces McKenzie and Cole with him 2-James Daniel-RG from the Bears, could play center too. Played at Iowa. Will be starting at RG. 3-TE OJ Howard, would make a great #2 on a prove it deal. His injury history and Buffalo’s ability to keep players healthy makes a good match. 4-Donte Jackson CB- injured much of last year, played at DBU and can run.. 5-Sony Michel, for selfish reasons. Gives us a vet to “challenge” Moss 6-James Washington, WR seems to get open deep fairly easy and is strong with the ball. 7-Thomas Morstead, experienced Punter that shouldn’t break the bank. 8-Fitz, obviously 1st round-look to trade down. We’ve spent some money and we need cheaper talent. let’s say someone with a early 2nd wants to move ahead of the Bucs, Detroit and packers to get a QB…well, we could pick up an extra 3rd. Or best yet 2 2nds 25th to the falcons for 43 and 57…giving us… 43, 57, 58, 89, 129, 168, 184, 202, 229, 244. 43-CB, Kyler Gordon great athlete, if not him there will be other 57-DT, Jones, big strong 1 tech to back up Phillips 58-LB Troy Anderson, acts as Klein’s replacement. Could also see time as a offensive utility player. 89-RB, Rachaad White 6’ 210, good vision, speed and good hands to catch the ball out of the backfield or as a receiver. 129-G Lecitus Smith good size and athletic, Bills had their eye on him, I’ve seen him drafted between 2nd and 5th round. 168-G/T/C Cade Mays-Has experience in different schemes and could play anywhere on the Olne, okay maybe not LT. good fit for the new line coach. 202- WR Kyle Phillips UCLA, 5’11” 190 had a good Shrine week. 229-CB/S Kyler McMichael good size and could be moved to Safety 6’ 205 PS most likely. 244-Noah Elliss-NT, another interior DL this one is 6’4” 360+ most likely to be on practice squad. after Draft 2023 2nd and 4th for Mack, I know everyone wants Jones, but I’ve been a Mack fan. Mack, Oliver, Phillips and Groot, with Addison, Boogie, Jones, AJ…and others at DL Edmunds, Milano, Anderson, Dobson, Giles-Harris and Smith at LB White, Jackson, Jackson, Johnson Gordon, Lewis and Neal (resigned for ST) Poyer, Hyde, Hamlin, Johnson & McMicheal at safety Bass, Morstead and Ferguson as specialists Allen and Fitz Singletary, Michel, moss and White Knox, the new OJ and Gillian TE/FB Diggs, Gabe Davis, Berrios, Washington, Kyle Phillips, Stevenson and maybe McKenzie (if resigned) Dion, Bates, Morse, Daniels and Brown w/ Doyle, Ford, Smith and Mays (Ike later)…I might see Smith move to starting LG, I’m really hoping Bates isn’t the new Colin Brown. the rest of the 90 gets filled out with udfa’s and players looking for any opportunity. fin
  8. Now now, let’s not title this Florida style, these were people from NJ…I don’t think we should blame Florida for this one.
  9. messed around and did this 25: R1 P25 DL Jordan Davis - Georgia 57: R2 P25 CB Kyler Gordon - Washington 89: R3 P25 EDGE Boye Mafe - Minnesota 129: R4 P25 RB Breece Hall - Iowa State 168: R5 P25 TE Jake Ferguson - Wisconsin 184: R6 P6 G Cade Mays - Tennessee 202: R6 P24 G Cole Strange - Chattanooga 229: R7 P10 WR Calvin Austin III - Memphis 244: R7 P25 LB Jeremiah Gemmel - North Carolina
  10. not only is this a strong Free agent class, its a strong draft class. Personally, I am waiting for the draft...the teams that need a WR will pay for them, this will drive the rookies further down and potentially into our laps.
  11. Well, after what we saw in playoff Allen, consistency. if we take the 2 game sample here’s my 2022 expectations 5415 yards passing 76 TD passed 1139 yards rushing pro bowl alternate
  12. I’ll say this till I’m blue in the face, but here goes…the draft…honestly there is some elite talent….but it’s top 15, after that 16-100 the talent level isn’t much different. This draft’s success is found in the 16-100 picks (honestly there’s probably 110-120) if we are able to collect 6 picks within that range we will see it in 2-3 years with some happening even earlier. With our team moving into the top heavy realm we need to find cheap talent….we need to trade down…save the cap room for 2023.
  13. I might sound like a broken record, but Dorsey is my pick, this offense is good, really good, now is not the time to bring in an OC that changes the language. this might sound crazy…why not offer Palmer a boat load of money to be Allen’s exclusive QB coach…like an obscene amount. if that doesn’t work bring in an experienced QB coach (Culley) to be the QB coach…or Peterson as the QB coach/passing game coordinator. Or worse case Matt Nagy
  14. I think overall just a baseline talent increase. never have a been a fan of trading down more than this year. I want 5 or more top 100 picks. Ideally an early 2nd looking for a late first pick trades their 2nd, 3rd and a 5th to move up 10-15 spots. 2 twos, 3 threes (if we lose LF) and then taking some of those 4-7 to move up back into the 3rd…so 4 3rd round picks I voted CB because White might not be ready week 1 and Wallace is a FA. either Washington CB would make me pleased, if we could draft them around 35…Washington does a good job preparing their secondary for the NFL. but after that, I also want a DT, DE, G and a LB… But also Safety and RB need to be addressed.
  15. Braxton Berrios…could be the next Cole Beasley, also solves Return game
  16. I’ve never trusted athletes that are pushed by overbearing parents…are they playing for THEIR love of the game or their parents love (both of the game and of them)
  17. Up to me, it’s not, but I’d get a FA guard or two…Norwell for example, then get BPA @ these positions DT- no Butler and I’m releasing Star CB-Wallace is a FA and White might not be ready week 1 IOL-obvious reasons and LB-if #49 doesn’t resign we need a back up plan. RB-Singletary is the only one I’m keeping. we need a back up plan if #49 decides to move on.
  18. Got a Signed Bennett jersey, favorite player growing up.
  19. He offers more in the vertical game, Which by itself creates separation. I wouldn’t be surprised seeing our starting 3 WR being Dirty, Davis and Diggs. We have cap issues, adding a WR in Free agency might not be an option, I’d rather improve the lines and RB and if a vet WR falls into our laps…that’s great. also Dane Jackson will start opposite White. He has played well and is physical against the run (for a CB)
  20. I think our window would be much more shut without Allen. Buffalo needs to build through the draft. Get the occasional free agent, likely on their 3rd+ contract that might be on the back 9 of their careers…vets that “just want to win” and castaways looking for a new start. spending 16 million a year for a guard doesn’t win many games anyway.
  21. He might be, but let’s hope the rest of his family and friends are too…let’s not forget that he can’t be around his family on Christmas…unless he truly doesn’t care.
