  1. Eric Stokes CB UGA. Great speed, performed well against top SEC receivers, and overachiever compared to his 3 star status out of HS. Maybe a reach at 30, but seems like Bills kind of guy. would love him for Bills in round 2 Boy that brings bad memories. What a horrendous pick that was for so many reasons. Maybe even worse than trading up for McCargo.
  2. Yes. Cause it looks like a classic style. They didn't over do it. Sometimes with new looks, it seem like someone is trying to hard to be creative.
  3. Some great names on that list. A couple receivers, Reggie Wayne and Torry Holt, who definitely should get in. Just need to wait their turn like Andre Reed and Art Monk did. I can't believe Lester Hayes is not in. Growing up, I remember him making so many big plays in big games. 13 Interceptions in 1 season is crazy. He was defensive POY that season in 1980. I was surprised to see that he only played 10 seasons and retired at 31. Felt like he played as an old veteran. 2 defenders on that list who I think are on the very good, but not great, list are Zach Thomas and Leroy Butler. I don't remember either of those guys as game changing dominant players. It would be great to see Tasker make it, but doesn't seem like he will. He's one that might've needed the Bills to win at least 2 of those 4 SB appearances to tip the HOF scale in his favor.
  4. Definitely. First guy I thought of was Gilmore. Afraid to make a tackle, and would look around to blame another player when he got beat. But I forgot about J. Byrd. Totally quit on the Bills and seemed to exagérate an injury his last year. Have ro add Bryan Cox Jr. Because his dad’s such a tremendous a-hole. I see some people naming Magahee and M. Lynch. Those guys might’ve bad mouthed Buffalo, but at least they ran hard.
  5. What happened to Del'Shawn? The coaches seemed to have high hopes for him when he made the opening day roster. I remember he got hurt early in the season and wasn't available to fill in when Edmunds and Milano got injured. I though he came back around mid-season and then he just disappeared.
  6. Some thoughts after watching recent highlights of Sanders. John Brown has better hands and is just as fast. Sanders seems like more ideal replacement for Beasley than Brown. Ran a lot of similar Beasley slot routes in NO. If Beasley gets hurt could fill in. Hope the price is right for the Bills. Do you think the Bills will offer Sanders jersey #17 to seal the deal?
  7. Not exactly, Manning’s rookie deal was 6 years 48 mil w $11 mil signing bonus Joe Burrow’s rookie deal is 4 years 36 mil with $23 mil signing bonus. even factoring inflation, they’re comparable contracts.
  8. If it was my grandmother he’d be praying for solitary confinement
  9. That list is unimaginative and full of not very well researched predictions. They basically have all the top free agents staying with their current teams, 17 out of top 19. And 5 top free agent WRs all signing 1 year franchise tag deals. None of that is realistic.
  10. The CBS sports RB ranking has Gainwell 5th and Patterson 6th of those declared for the draft. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/prospect-rankings/runningbacks/runningbacks
  11. Remember that you need to replace the guys you cut. Impact players are not cheap. In a salary cap league, value is important. But ultimately it's about getting the best players on the field. Last year the Bills decided Jordan Philips and Shaq Lawson were not worth $10 mil / year contracts and Star opted out. The replacements of Vernon Butler, Jefferson, and Addison probably offered better value. Understandable decisions by Beane & co, but in the end the D-line was a downgrade from 2019 to 2020. My point, is before you cut a starter / key contributor or let them walk in FA, you better have a plan to bring in a player as good or better. Not just a better value.
  12. TJ Watt is pretty good. Would be amazing for the Bills to get an impact pass rusher at 30. But otherwise, it's a disappointing list.
  13. John Brown. He looked healthy last week. He will get some opportunities on Sunday. 100+ yards and a TD.
  14. Love that song. Great video. And I loved the random Delaware Fighting Blue Hens completion thrown in the middle of all the Bills highlights
  15. As a Bills fan, I cannot even comprehend this thought process. I was physically sick when NE made the field goal to beat the Rams. Other than the Bills losing, NE winning was the worse possible outcome for any Super Bowl. That pathetic group of apathetic fans got to enjoy a SB victory before long suffering passionate Bills fans. Bryan Cox was on that team, who had to be one of the most hated players at the time. You had Belichick and the Parcells heritage. And mainly, they were already exposed as the most ignorant fans in the league. Eventually became the most arrogant and ignorant. Unless you're from New England, if you have ever been to a sporting event in Boston, how could you root for any of their teams? It's awful. I hate them all.
  16. The pick 6 far outweighed any of the impactful plays that went in favor of the Ravens. The Huntley scramble was not an impactful play b/c the Ravens never scored again. Bills eventually got the final possession and ran the clock out. So it didn't change anything. And I think some of the bad snaps were classified as fumbles, so even though the Ravens recovered the ball, the snaps lead to negative plays including Jackson getting knocked out of the game. Ravens did not get the better of those plays on their fumbles
  17. He’s 18 - 3 after bye weeks. He’s 18 - 3 after bye weeks.
  18. Trent Murphy played well last night. Impressive after not seeing live action for so long. The rest of the your statement was ridiculous to make even back in November. The D was already improving and anyone who has paid any attention to the Bills since McD and Frazier arrived could have predicted they would keep adjusting and be a thought team to face.
  19. Well the old guys have a lot more chances. I'll bet the young guys still alive in this year's playoff end up with at least 8 combined before they're done
  20. I didn't see your point about recent. I guess i am getting old. I remember his days at UM and then in Dallas pretty well. 30 years goes fast in certain memories, but not in others. It felt like 3 lifetimes since the Bills had won a playoff game. Were you a fan of Urban at Ohio State? He certainly improved the talent level and Win Loss record. I would imagine he's a popular guy in the Buckeye State.
  21. They don't put new head coaches on Hard Knocks. At least that has been a rule in the past.
