  1. More Random Stats. Bills have.... 3 QBs who have had 10 or more games passing 300+ yards 7 WRs who have had 10 or more games with 100+ receiving yards. (Lee Evans is on the list w/ 14) 9 RBs who have had 10 or more games with 100+ rushing yards. (McGahee is on the list w/ 14 games) Only counting games played w Bills.
  2. Watched the end of the Bengals Ravens game in the concourse at Dolphins stadium. Celebration was awesome
  3. Agreed that trying to figure out who to root for is very tricky. I just did the same, assuming the Bills win out. Most scenarios, have Bills vs NE or Indy. There were a couple that have us against Ravens or Raiders. The 2 seed seems unlikely since that would need 2 losses from KC, or 2 losses from Titans plus at least 1 loss from Indy. And even with the 2 seed, there's still a chance we play NE or Indy. Bills will need to finish out to assure at least 1 home game, get fortunate with good health, and beat some tough teams.
  4. I see that the Falcons added 5 guys to their Covid list since Sunday. I haven't paid attention to the Falcons this year. Anyone know which of these guys have been impact players for them? Dorian Etheridge LB Yes12/27/21 Brandon Copeland LB Yes12/27/21 Tajae Sharpe WR Yes12/27/21 James Vaughters LBYes12/27/21 Tyeler Davison DT Yes12/26/21
  5. That’s a ridiculous example. No NFL coach would do that. It’s like if your down 6 with 7 seconds left in the game, 4th and 10 at opponents 45 yd line. Instead of throwing a Hail Mary you could punt and get a fumble return for a TD. That’s the same level ridiculous example
  6. To answer your question. Yes I am enjoying the season. This season is 1,000 times better than years like 2006 or 2013 where you knew they were over matched by good teams and had almost no chance to make the playoffs. I have been to 4 games and only saw them lose once in person at TB. This Bills team and coaching staff is filled w good and likable guys who are easy to root for. As likable as they are I don’t think it is a super talented team. IMO the sum is greater than the the parts for the Bills of recent years. It is frustrating when they make mental errors of fail to execute bc they don’t have enough playmakers on defense or offense to overcome those mistakes Your frustration really comes through as one of the most negative posters this season. It seems that you have an irrational expectation of the coaching staff based on the talent level of this team. Enjoy for what it is, and they might surprise us with another deep playoff run
  7. Thanks for posting. A lot more guys on the list the last 2 days. At this rate today and tomorrow the list will grow. Saints, Texans Chargers have long lists.
  8. Is Rhamoned Stevenson bc of Covid?
  9. Judon and NE D is better. But yes we can win if Dawkins is out. Need a complete team win.
  10. Holy Krap. Jimmy G is terrible.
  11. You wrote for all 13 teams that realistically they can win out the last 3 week. Do you really believe that? I do not think this is realistic for the Broncos, Browns, Raiders, or Steelers. It would be very surprising. And it’s highly unlikely that the Dolphins, Ravens or Bengals win out. Maybe, we have different definitions of realistic. Overall good write up Nice reference showing schedules for all.
  12. You’re funny. I read that post and had the exact same thought
  13. https://www.nfl.com/news/chiefs-te-travis-kelce-placed-on-reserve-covid-19-list
  14. He played like he was drunk. Maybe too many Blues last night
  15. I thought J. Vilma did a decent job as analyst on Bills Carolina game today. He and Olsen are better than some of ex-QBs in the booth
  16. Colts fans are fired up for this game. Love that Indy has the proper level of hatred for Belichick and his Cheaters
  17. Loving Reich. Couldn’t ask for a better start to this game
  18. But those guys both had pro experience before becoming HCs in College
  19. Stop hanging out with New England fans. It will improve your life
  20. Sad news. Such a good guy and terrific Buffalo Bill. He was a constant through the best years of the franchise.
  21. McKenzie has had 3 massive blunders in 10 games played this year. The misplayed kickoff against Washington that lead to a TD, the muffled punt against the Dolphins (which he got very luck didn’t lead to a TD thanks to Kumerow) and the embarrassing tackle yourself and fumble against Indy that lead to a TD. All 3 were at Highmark stadium. Still I would’ve played McKenzie against NE, and it was surprising to hear the coach call him out. But it’s not without cause that he wasn’t active with the windy environment ‘Monday night.
  22. OK. Comparing him to the other current coaches in the NFL, I believe he’s a top 10 coach. My point in the comparison to the previous 20 years is that the odds of finding a top tier replacement for McD are not good. Personally I don’t have confidence that the Pegulas would be successful in upgrading the HC. The Bills are in a good place for the next several years. Similar to what the Steelers and Ravens have been over the last 15 and 10 years respectively. Consistent playoff contenders who in their best years have a legit chance to win the SB. I think with Allen and McDermott the Bills will be in the SB at least once in the next 5 years Firing their Head Coach would be monumentally stupid.
  23. Excellent write up. I agree it was high level competition in difficult circumstances for both teams. As well as Allen played at times, ultimately he had chances to come through with a decisive game winning play and he didn't. On some of your specific points. 6. Yep, Jones progress was stopped short. And he only slid forward after the play was over. But you couldn't tell. 5. Bills got a break on the unnecessary roughness call on Allen's . Would have been screaming my head off in the roles were reversed. Is the defender supposed to just allow him to get the first down? 4. That fumble was on Breida. He held his hands way too far apart. I saw a clip after the game of Peyton Manning making of him, exaggerating how far apart his hands were. Saying that goes in the RB clinic for how not to take a hand off.
  24. I already regret replying to this topic But who exactly do you propose to replace McD? It took 20 years for the Bills to find a good coach. They went 0-7 in coaching hires between Marv and McD, including 2 Head Coaches who quit on them. What other NFL team has had even 1 coach quit? Wizard - if you like, you can start scouring for NFL retreads or unproven college coaches. I'll stick with McDermott and enjoy the Bills as a playoff contender year and year out. And eventually celebrate when they make a championship run.
  25. I just did a run through the ESPN Playoff Machine selecting every game the rest of the way, just my first thought for each game without much analysis or going back to change. Here's what came out. A 7 way tie in the AFC at 11-6. Seedings as follows. 1. LA Chargers 11-6 2. Tennessee 11-6 3. Cinci 11-6 4. Buffalo 11-6 5. New Eng 11-6 6. Baltimore 11-6 7. Kanas City 11-6 In my scenario New England loses to Indy and to the Bills. Bills lose to TB and win all the rest. They go into playoff mode after losing to the Bucs. The #8 team in my scenario is the Colts at 10-7. So if everything else stays as predicted, except Bills losing in NE, then Bills would be 10 - 7 and out of playoffs with Colts taking the 7th seed and NE at 12-5 as the 1 seed
