Davis Webb elevated from PS: our new backup QB?
Reks Ryan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good chance that Webb will play next week and maybe tonight. I expect Barkley still #2, but they want to limit risk to both Josh and Barkley. Secondarily, it could be a reward to Webb for being a good soldier. I have read that he has been a very good process guy since he got to Buffalo, especially in scout team and weathering all the BS everyone has had to endure with Covid. -
Meaningless late season games
Reks Ryan replied to Bills fan since 87's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My thought is the Bills should go all out (play as usual) tonight, to wrap up the 3 seed at worst. Then you make a decision which guys to rest in the last game, depending on health, or pull guys early based on game situation. Depending which match up, you prefer there is some luck involved. Let's say you prefer not to play Ravens in round 1. If Baltimore wins and Miami wins against Buffalo next week, then Baltimore will stay in the 6th seed and play the 3 seed. So then it comes down to CLE beating PIT to make the playoffs as 7 seed against the 2 see Bills. There's also the scenario where both BAL and CLE lose and the Ravens back in as the 7th seed, and the Bills keep 2 seed and play them anyway. I also expect PIT to lose in the first round, which would give the Bills potential for 2nd home game even from the 3 seed. -

Or the Browns win along w Steelers loss. Not sure why so few are reporting that. -
Tua benched again - will start in Buffalo week 17

Fitzmagic strikes again. That was an amazing finish. Glad because I want to squish the fish in the playoffs. Hopefully Bills have 2 seed wrapped up Monday night. Would definitely prefer to play Tua. -
Which retread NFL Head Coach would you hire?
Reks Ryan replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Caldwell would be #1 for me. He never should've been fired in Detroit. Frazier, McDaniel, and Dennis Allen all have recently been part of winning organizations and seem to have the temperament (level-headed) and intelligence to have learned from experience and do a good job with their next opportunity. Although, there would be trust issues with McDaniel after he burned Indy and since he is a known and repetitive cheater. -
Bills take over #2 seed with Pittsburgh loss
Reks Ryan replied to Yav's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
And this gives them a 99% chance at 2 seed after week 16 Bills Win Steelers Loss Cleveland win over Jets. would take a tie between Browns & Steelers in week 17, Week 17 Bills loss & Titans win to knock them back to #3. https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2020/12/22/22194769/afc-playoff-picture-buffalo-bills-can-clinch-the-two-seed-in-week-16-with-help -
Play this week unless strong probability of aggravating the injury. Would like him on the field to Crush. NE and help wrap up 2 seed. Then sit whoever you want in week 17

Who do you guys want to play in the playoffs?
Reks Ryan replied to Adamb412's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
In order of most preferred. Very Confident Steelers Dolphins Like our chances - But scary due to certain match ups Browns Ravens Colts Beatable with very strong performance from Bills Titans Chiefs -
99.9% chance wk. 17 will matter to Bills
Reks Ryan replied to The Red King's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If The Bills win against NE amd the Colts beat Pitt, and GB beats the Titans, then Bills should clinch 2 seed. Indy and Cleveland already have 4 conf losses -

John Brown designated to return from IR
Reks Ryan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Lost to Tennessee without him. Replacing Brown w Andre Roberts was not a good plan. So actually 3 - 1. I agree that they have figured out a better strategy the last 3 weeks and recent game plan have good. If Bills play to their new standard, they’ll be OK in Denver -
About Friggin Time. So glad it's over. It certainly does seem to be set-up for the Bills - Dolphins rivalry to be renewed the next 5 years. With a bunch of Covid refugees coming back, salary cap space, and Belichick NE should be competitive next year. But now that Bills are on top and the Fish are good, I don't see the cheaters bouncing back right away.

Squeelers v. Bills, Week 14 Game Balls
Reks Ryan replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Taron Johnson Diontae Johnson Those drops and that great pick set the tone for Bills at halftime. Diggs & Poyer were terrific throughout. Moss for the game clinching drive. Wallace INT came w 7 minutes left and Pitt never got the ball again -
Dawson Knox - First ever TE option pass for TD
Reks Ryan replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well it wouldn’t be the first ever TE to throw a TD pass. There waa a pretty famous one in the Super Bowl a few years ago. -
Klein, Edmunds, and Hughes. Levi Wallace - LAC has 2 good receivers and they actually picked on White more than Wallace. Barely heard his name. D-line Butler and Oliver Beasley Bass

This is a hard league to win in....
Reks Ryan replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't think it's that hard understand. The Bills are good well coached team with a super talented QB, and good D that lacks super star play makers.. They make more good plays than bad plays and put themselves in position to win most games. But their talented QB is flawed and when he makes mistakes it creates challenges that usually do not allow the Bills to pull away in games against average teams.. And it is the NFL, where the talent gap is very close. Other teams have excellent players too, like Bosa, Ekeler, and Herbert who make plays for their teams. Yes against the best teams like the Titans, Steelers, and Chiefs the there is much less room for error. Those teams are very good, but not perfect, and the Bills have the capability to beat any of them. -

Gannon and Gumbel were particularly bad today. They kept confusing the teams, call the Chargers the Bills and vice versa. At one point Gumbel said Harrison Phillips was called for a roughing the passer penalty against Allen. -

Good game from the D. Able to overcome 3 4th quarter turnovers from the O. And only give up 3 points is very impressive. Yes, they need to learn to KNOCK IT DOWN!
