My post was a tongue in cheek comment, but good on you for doing the research.

The Playcallers - A podcast that you need to hear

As I said, smarter is desirable but the key is knowledge. Too many people nowadays conflate the two concepts. -
The Playcallers - A podcast that you need to hear

Great point about Shanny blowing the big lead in the SB. That extended brain fart makes McD’s 13 seconds look like genius. While smarter is desirable, I don’t care if a football coach has a high IQ or not as it’s just football and it’s really not so complicated that it requires super high intelligence to scheme it up and succeed. On either side of the ball. -
Being a pocket passer so he can be “safer” is the last reason I’d want Allan to become one because it is from being hit in the pocket that most QB injuries occur, including the one that ruined Newton’s career, ironically. The best reason for Allen to stay in the pocket is simply because it’s from there that most of the field is available for him to attack.

No need to insult shite like that.

Looking at the Bills’ schedule there’s games with big ramifications.
K-9 replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall
In a 17 game season, all games have ramifications. Some bigger than others to be sure, but they’re all important. That said, while the games with KC and Cincy might cost a home field advantage in the playoffs, division games are more important because they can potentially cost a trip the playoffs in the first place. -
Submarine meant to view Titanic wreck loses contact at bottom of sea
K-9 replied to Nextmanup's topic in Off the Wall
Cameron has conducted more deep sea expeditions than anyone else on the planet. 33 trips to the Titanic and is one of only a few to visit Challenger Deep in the Mariana Trench. I’d say his opinion on deep sea exploration is as well qualified as anyone else in the world. -
Bills named team with most “expectations” on them in 2023
K-9 replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
I disagree. Last year they were playing under the weight of high expectations as they were everyone’s pick to get to the big dance. This year, not so much.- 50 replies

How long does it take an NFL head coach to reach his 1st Super Bowl?
K-9 replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Outstanding. Kind of touches upon the idea of making statistics say anything you want them to say. But there is honest research and then there is the type of research posited by the resident genius who needs to support his agenda. -
This is an easy concept that the resident “genius” can’t seem to grasp.

Is Allen a failure?
-
Equivocate much?
-
I’m growing bored with what is essentially a semantic argument with an egomaniac who feels only he can define things for everyone else. Is failure the opposite of success or not? Are the Bills a successful team or not?
-
I’m not categorizing success as a fan. I’m categorizing it as someone who has been part of numerous collaborative efforts in pursuit of an ultimate goal and realizing how many successful outcomes need to be achieved in order to get there.
-
Knowing my definition is probably different than the people playing and coaching in the league, I’ll just say that during the course of a collaborative endeavor, there are a series of successes to be achieved on the way to an ultimate goal; required foundational successes. In short, there is success, higher success, and ultimate success. While 31 teams don’t achieve that ultimate success, they have achieved success nonetheless. It is an insult to the work and sacrifice put in by the players, coaches, and the rest of those organizations to suggest otherwise.
-
That’s why winning the division is always job one. You do that, you’re in the dance and a SB contender. Simple as that. FFS.
-
Didn’t mean to imply people were wanting him fired now, although there are probably some that do; just wondering why people are upset if he can be fired at anytime, anyway. Bottom line is there is absolutely no reason for people to be overreacting to a routine NFL transaction and the extension doesn’t preclude Pegula from firing him before the term is up.
-
Perhaps, but it’s certainly saying no other team was successful. Which is a ridiculous assertion.
-
That depends on whether or not you’ve had your IQ tested.
-
Every team’s goal is to win the SB and every team except KC fell short of the goal they were “aiming for.” So according to your myopic take, no other teams were successful. No straw man at all. Just carrying your logic to its natural conclusion.
-
Right. Every team sucks except KC and we should just commiserate with the the Texans, Bears, and Cardinals. Got it. A more myopic take on success doesn’t exist.
