  1. You know your Dabney's! Your Dabney game is strong.
  2. Jeez, Jeffy Gump/Forrest Sessions remembers some detailed things about stuff he previously didn't recall or believe ever happened. His hypocrisy regarding the use of "I don't recall" testimony was called out by a few at that hearing today.
  3. One of the most beautiful cities in Italy.
  4. Pray tell, what is this thing called "leading after one" in Pittsburgh of all places? Shocked, I tell ya.
  5. Peters yes and on the first ballot. Lynch will have to go the Terrell Davis route at best.
  6. Because there was no reason to risk injury to your starting QB in a blowout?
  7. Well, since my use of the phonetic “ph” was deemed offensive and resulted in my post getting deleted, I’ll have to rePHrase: All of them. Every !@#$ing one of them.
  8. Well, since my use of the phonetic “ph” was deemed offensive and got my post deleted, I’ll have to rePHrase: Nothing. Not one !@#$ing thing.
  9. Great point. It's the person that's best able to keep his head when those all around him are losing theirs that makes the best type of leader. That said, I don't think McD hesitates for a moment to lose it in front of the team at certain times, especially those that may be feeling sorry for themselves because Dareus was traded, etc. Veteran purges are common for rebuilding teams and it's never popular in the locker room in the short term.
  10. It was only a matter of time before Reinhart was moved back to wing and I'm glad to see it's on a line where he's had success. He's just not an NHL center. Moulson in the lineup at all is an abomination, let alone on the third line. Feel sorry for Girgs. Liking Falk's game lately. Pittsburgh has become our house of horrors and I look for Crosby to bust out of his slump in a big way tonight, especially when matched against the Eichel line.
  11. I sincerely appreciate the recognition of an "opinion" piece and both left and right wing nuts are too quick to treat them like news. Regardless, opinion pieces are part of the media product and we need to be able to recognize them for what they are. I found Surber's rhetoric way too hyperbolic in order to make a point about what the "mainstream" media had missed regarding Trump's Asia junket. Saying he "averted" a nuclear war with NK is ridiculous, imo, but I understand he is catering to a certain audience.
  12. Making it sound like Trump was like Kennedy during the Cuban missile crisis or something. Can someone please tell me when Trump got NK to give up their nuclear program? Talk about the "media's" portrayal of Trump.
  13. I can imagine just how pissed off TT must get when he hears this repeated by opposing players.
  14. Curious as to what all the armchair HCs would be saying instead.
  15. Perhaps I was wrong to use the terms "whiney" and "wusses" and for that I apologize to forum readers whose sensitivities prevented the true intent of my post to sink in. I offer this only as free mental health advice, nothing more, as I wonder what the volume of cortisol released in WNY after a Bills loss amounts to. When you are so thoroughly outclassed on the football field or in any other field for that matter, I think it's beneath us as a species to forget to tip your hat to the other guy and instead harp on all the negative and often wasteful other reasons. And I'm not talking about the true "discussion" that happens, either; it's the incessant finger pointing about things totally out of our control and the inevitable sniping that occurs as a result. There is no litmus test for one's level of dedication as a fan nor can one's passion for their favorite team(s) be measured by vitriol towards the opponent(s). It's just better on the psyche to offer respect to the other guy, that's all. It isn't hard to do and is much easier on the mind.
  16. That is certainly an understandable take.
  17. I understand your larger point, but they were in clear panic mode at the 11th hour when polling in key districts in those three states showed her losing and they responded with too little too late. I think she took those places for granted while Trump hit them hard and often with his populist themes. Huge tactical error on Clinton's part.
  18. Don't credit Goff? You make it sound like throwing a 52 yard strike in the air is easy. Gotta give him some credit for the play fake and perfect throw, no?
  19. The high road is not imaginary in the least. Something to aspire to. That doesn't make me better than anyone else; as if one's fan "quality" can be measured in the first place.
  20. It's essentially been nine games of slow starts. Do we have a first quarter TD in a game yet this season? I honestly don't know. I can't put all that on TT as the rest of the offense and Dennison are part of the equation, but he threw a couple bad passes on that first drive yesterday that make you wish we had better arm talent at the position.
  21. Talent trumps scheme. Always has, always will. That's not to say that once in a while a less talented team can out-scheme a more talented team and get a win. But that is the exception to the rule. Upsets happen all the time. There are just so many other variables at play than just talent and scheme on any given day, on any given play.
