What else does the guy who leads the NFL in turnovers lead the league in since he got to the NFL?

Bears CB Jaylon Johnson Requests to be Traded
K-9 replied to ExiledInIllinois's topic in The Stadium Wall
Absolutely. And by the same token, the Bears risk losing him for nothing in free agency. -
Have we ever made a big move before the trade deadline?

Best waiver acquisition in league history. For the $100 waiver fee we got a first ballot HOFer with elite athletic skills with PLENTY left in the tank. -
Have we ever made a big move before the trade deadline?
K-9 replied to ArdmoreRyno's topic in The Stadium Wall
That was certainly one of them as it immediately changed the power structure in the AFCE because it gave us the pass rush to impact Marino consistently. But I’d say the final moves to make us SB contenders were the addition of Thurman and the hiring of Marchibroda as OC. -
The Hail Mary has it’s place, but I’d like to see some Our Fathers thrown in from time to time.

When offensive holding occurs beyond the LOS, it’s a spot foul and marked 10 yards back from the spot of the infraction. In this case, the holding occurred two yards beyond the LOS resulting in the 1st and 18 down.

Beane reportedly looking for LB help (possible rumor)

A possible rumor? Would that be a rumor of a rumor? -
The Stadium Wall gives me agita.

They needed another first down to clinch the game though. They couldn’t close it out with possession and had to punt it back. Good teams don’t do that; they close it out and never give the opponent another opportunity. I agree about the defense, but stupid penalties bailed out TB on multiple fourth downs and we gifted them with first downs. Should have been our ball both times. Jordan Phillips will never get out of my doghouse for one of the dumbest penalties I’ve ever seen.
-
Agreed. I have no problem with punting the ball up 14 in the 4th and making them face a long field. Nothing wrong with that. I have a huge issue with not being able to get a game clinching first down, which is a mark of a good team. Good teams close out games late when they have the ball. I don’t know how much of that is on McD or not. But if you’re gonna punt on fourth down anyway, then throw a four yard pass and covert a first down instead of running into the teeth of the D that is playing run all the way. But that’s not my main gripe tonight. Instead, once again, McD’s game management vis a vis those timeouts, left a lot to be desired. A HC must be a good game manager, period. And too often in his tenure, McD has shown he just isn’t up to the task. It’s quite maddening and it’s why I feel he lacks the chops to get us there.

I’m afraid McD is simply not the coach to get us there. Jordan Phillips is a stone cold knucklehead. That’s all I have to say.

Realistic Trade Prediction: Levi Wallace
K-9 replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall
That may well be true, but Benford and Jackson aren’t much, if any, of an upgrade over Wallace, either. -

Josh needs to go on a vision quest with Aaron Rodgers, his spiritual adviser. Nothing that a few mushrooms and a couple days in soundless dark solitude won’t cure.

Why do the Bills always defer when they win the coin toss?

We don’t have a good enough O line, which was the key to our no huddle success with Kelly and Co. We also don’t have the same number of skill players to make it work, either. Outside of Josh and Diggs, we just don't have the K Gun horses.

Please take your condescending, disingenuous bullcrap someplace else.

No, because we were eliminated from playoff contention with today’s loss.

So Kincaid is Canadian even though he was born in born in the US. Got it.

When players create untenable situations like Lynch did when he was here, there are few good options available for GMs. You can’t just give up on a talented young player, especially one who is a vital cog in your offense as Lynch was his first couple of seasons. The hope was Lynch would mature and stop the negative behavior before it became untenable. The only time Nix could have maximized the value in a trade was after Lynch’s All Pro season in his second year, and Buddy would have been crucified had he traded him at that time. Sometimes you just reach a point where you have to cut your losses and that was the situation with Lynch.

He was born in Las Vegas and he’s as American as can be.

In the land of chowder, beans, and Revere Pats fans have less and less reason to cheer There is no place for hope And they can’t seem to cope Knowing the dynasty’s end is here

Thursday night football is an abomination that shows contempt for the players.

What Allen sees is usually the first read in whatever concept is being run on a particular play and as Allen has said, Diggs is the first read in most of their pass game concepts, Diggs frequently gets open, so it’s no surprise Josh is gonna target him more than anyone else. So I’m not sure it’s entirely a question of trust. Just the other night, we saw Josh try to go to both Davis and Sherfield who got open on deeper routes only to see them trip and fall. All that said, it would be nice to see other receivers be the focus more often.
