  1. How the F isn't that interference? These refs are seriously screwing us.
  2. Now. That's how you friggin answer a deficit!!! Josh got BIG BALLS baby!
  3. Alright! Big kick from Bass. Let's get a stop and punch the next drive in.
  4. It's a completed catch under high school rules (I think).
  5. You can't really understand a billionaire's experience until you've walked a mile in their Ferragamos.
  6. I just booked a haircut with my barber for this afternoon. Also, does Shakir remind anyone else of Andre Reed with the ball in his hands?
  7. Yes. Things looks very bleak as far as I can tell. The Denver loss was the dagger. The Bills absolutely could not afford to lose that game. It effectively ended their season barring a miracle run through the best teams in the NFL. For all intents and purposes, the playoffs have already started for the Bills and the next six games are all win or go home, single elimination contests.
  8. I'm going golfing as well. It's hard to get a tee time around here and I can watch the full game on NFL+ later tonight. But I'm also doing it as a reverse-hex to break our slump. I missed one game last year to play golf - the loss on Nov. 6 at the Jets that started this last calendar year of inconsistent offensive play and odd decisions from Josh. I'm playing the very same course today while they are playing the Jets to break whatever curse I beset on the team.
  9. I don't know about Knox. We were obviously playing better before he was injured, but we ran the ball the other night pretty well and would have won easily if we didn't continually turn the ball over. It's mostly execution issues that seem to be killing us. I think the overall lack of focus we've been showing on offense was the biggest reason Dorsey needed to go.
  10. The one thing that always struck me about the Super Bowl era Bills (let's say 1988-1993), was how few of these "outlandish" or painful final play losses they seemed to have during that run. The only two that really come to mind were obviously Harmon's drop and Wide Right. But those were two fairly normal close games/finishes that we came out on the wrong end of. On the other hand, we seemed to have won a ton of fluky or crazy comeback games during the same time period (Raiders night game where Odomes stripped the receiver and returned for TD, the Denver 21 points in 90 seconds game, Houston comeback, etc.). We very rarely lost close games during that period. The rare games we lost, we generally played like garbage and got our butts kicked (Miami opener, Houston Monday night game in 92, Super Bowls)
  11. Yeah, I was there for that one. Opening day of 2005, maybe. Jags hit a toe tapping 25 yard touchdown in the back of the end zone as time expired. Or maybe the guy's feet were never in, but that was when the rule was that the defender couldn't push the receiver out of bounds. Quiet exit that day.
  12. People are crapping on the OP because of the ridiculous thread title, but he makes some good points here.
  13. Yeah, not sure what the deal is. I've always like Sal. Seems like a regular guy who knows and loves football, generally respects most everyone, and seems to enjoy his job.
  14. We outgained them by 75 yards. 7.1 yards per play versus 4.2 for Denver. Josh's turnovers and McDermott's coaching blunders got Dorsey fired.
  15. Yep. I like Sean and appreciate what he's done for the franchise, getting us turned around and raising expectations, but sometimes the voice in the room just loses its power to reach and motivate players/staff. I believe we've reached this point and it's the reason we are seeing sloppier and generally unfocused football over the past 12 months. You're right. It's time to turn the page.
  16. I don't think much changes. Hoping for the best though.
  17. His behavior after the playoff game and the training camp walkout was the canary in the coalmine, so to speak. He knew nothing would change and that "the process" had run it's course.
