  1. He doesn't deserve it, since Rivers was a consistent playoff choker, but this is absolutely Allen's legacy as of today.
  2. That was my thought. It wasn't much of a hit that completely knocked him out of the universe. Clearly shouldn't have been on the field. True. Gabe Davis torched the hell out of Spags in 2021 when he was saddled with some bums in the secondary. You do need players.
  3. Good point on Rousseau. He continually gave up the edge. Completely undisciplined in the biggest game of the year. Hugely disappointing.
  4. No way! He started shaky, but he fought back and gave us a chance to win. That's a very good Chiefs defense that he put up 29 (should have been 31) against. He was clutch finding Samuels on 4th down and still managed to make a play on that all out blitz to end the game. He could have played better from start to finish but he was most of the reason we hung in the game until the end.
  5. Nailed it, Virg. Enjoy the off-season
  6. Probably the healthiest approach in all honesty. I thought I was there, but apparently I got sucked in yet again. 😭
  7. Correct. Got to hand it to Spags. Great call there.
  8. I think we have to consider that maybe the Chiefs are just cruising and trying things out during the regular season?
  9. Coleman, Kincaid and Elam are absolute disaster 1st round picks.
  10. He's a good coach, and I don't trust us to find someone better, but I don't ever see him beating Reid and Mahomes when it really matters. So? 🤷
  11. Cook was the best player on the field and needed to be involved there. Absolutely.
  12. It's tough. I like Sean. Good guy. Good coach. But clearly not good enough when it matters most. Not sure we can do better. I think Reid, Spags and Mahomes are just special and better than our guys. Just bad timing more than anything.
  13. Yes. There's a reason no one ever considers McDermott a finalist for coach of the year.
  14. Kincaid and Elam picks are a big reason we came up short today.
  15. We will never beat the Chiefs with this coaching staff. Never.
  16. And if we tried to pass or snuck up the middle or to the right and gotten stuffed, we'd all still call McDermott/Brady idiots. You go with what's worked all season and challenge them to stop it.
  17. They are going to attack Elam all second half.
  18. As hard as it is to believe, I think they've actually matured somewhat over there, at least compared to the absolute sewer the place has always been. Or at least, at a minimum, they've finally come to respect the Bills a tiny bit. Also, let Chiefs Planet serve as a warning to us how a fan base can be corrupted by success and power. Let's not become anything close to those guys once we have a couple of championships under our belt (starting with this year).
  19. Ugh...this sucks. I wonder if they call up Michael Height?
  20. Buffalo isn't home for Mack. I don't understand why people keep thinking of him that way. He loves LA. If he signs anywhere, it will be with the Chargers or another West Coast team.
  21. I think memories of 13 seconds and 2022-23 (loss to Vikings and the free releases we kept granting Cincy's receivers in the playoff game) are doing a lot of heavy lifting in this regard. And our third down defense absolutely sucks, so it does bring into question whether it's scheme/strategy or just poor talent.
  22. I think we can, but the betting man in me (granted, I don't bet...lol) says no. I think the Chiefs are a slightly better team now that they have Brown and Pacheco back, and they are playing at home and always seem to have the refs in their pocket. I think we need to remain mistake free AND Josh has to open it back up and play a bit of the Superman role to make it happen. Both are doable., but it's going to be tough.
  23. No offense, but does anyone actually say that anymore? I can't recall reading that here or seeing it anywhere in the national media in years. I think the only place where the "conservative" label comes into play with McDermott is in regards to his defensive philosophy (base nickel) and lack of going man-to-man and jamming receivers on third downs or when attempting to stop late game comeback attempts.
  24. Oh, I don't think you were in the minority at all. The funny thing is when we kicked the field goal to go up 8, I texted my parents that "at least we can't lose in regulation now." As soon as Andrews dropped that pass I'm thinking, "oh no, I totally jinxed us." Those two minutes between the dropped pass and the onsides kick felt like so many classic Bills nightmare moments of the past.
