  1. This is NBD as far as I'm concerned, but it will be interesting to watch how Mahomes handles a little adversity - something he's yet to face in his short career.
  2. This is a pretty stupid exercise. I mean, hell, Darnold or Tua could have won that game if all they needed to do was muster 10 points. Now, how many QBs would I trust to meet the moment in the Super Bowl and play as well as Brady did? Maybe 4 or 5.
  3. Brady's offenses routinely outperformed Belichick's defenses. Brady was always the engine behind the Pats dynasty. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/nwe/index.htm
  4. Reminded me of how helpless Manning looked against the Seahawks in his Super Bowl loss. A big bad defense can do that to even the best of QBs.
  5. The entire Tampa Bay team played great - offense, defense and special teams. A total team win and Brady played great right along with them. They won it together, not because of (or in spite of) Brady. I don't see the point in trying to diminish Brady because his entire team came to play.
  6. If Tre White is cool with it, then I'm cool with it.
  7. Great. Another Chief to root against. And what's the deal with Reid's kids? One OD's and another is facing serious jail time. Anyhow, I pray that the poor kid he injured pulls through this okay.
  8. It's funny how many rumors there are about QBs being gay. Off the top of my head, I remember rumors about Aikman, Steve Young, Jeff Garcia, Kordell, Aaron Rodgers, Brady Quinn and Russel Wilson.
  9. Just how many compromising photos is this guy in possession of?
  10. I don't see a great need for upgrading the backup position. I think Barkley is the perfect backup QB to be honest. Veteran guy, cheap, understands his role, helpful in Josh's development and game preparation, and can competently run the offense in a pinch. Then you keep Webb or Fromm as your younger developmental guy.
  11. I was pleasantly surprised with how McD's game management skills evolved and how aggressive he was this season. Yes, he could have been more aggressive against KC, but I believe he'll learn from it. I feel pretty secure in our future with him at the helm.
  12. That trade thread from 2017 is really painful to read now. Thank God that Allen has turned out to be so good, or I might be suicidaly depressed watching Mahomes play.
  13. With that kind of usage he is on borrowed time. Look at Eddie George or Shaun Alexander. My guess is he has one more good-to-great season left and then he's pretty much out of gas by his age 29 season.
  14. I love Josh too, but I had the same thought (for a millisecond). I wouldn't do it straight up, given the situation that the Texans find themselves in. But if the Texans were to throw in Watt or Tunsil, and I knew that trading Josh wouldn't destroy the chemistry in the locker room (which there's no way of knowing), then I would think hard about pulling the trigger. I have those same glasses, but mine says "wife" instead of husband. After I drink a few of those, I put on my Diggs jersey and have my wife fire footballs at me from 3' away.
  15. Holy crap. That's a ton to give up for a 32 year old QB who has never won a playoff game. Is anyone scared of Matthew Stafford? LMAO
  16. Yep. UCLA guy here too. Felton would be a great fit in our offense in a shared backfield with Moss. Singletary did one thing well - making guys miss in tight spaces - and we saw none of it this season.
  17. Look out for Demetric Felton. Dynamic playmaker, good pass catcher and he'll be there in the mid-rounds of the draft.
  18. I agree. It makes no sense from the Niners perspective. Maybe if they threw in Watt or a young asset, but no way they send the 12th and Jimmy G for Ryan.
  19. Why was Culley a fraud as our QB coach? I thought Josh showed huge improvement by the end of his rookie season.
  20. Eh, I think TE will need to wait. Also, I thought Knox was showing signs of growth in the second half of the season. He was very raw coming into the league, but has gamebreaking potential if/when he puts it all together. Think of him as the Josh Allen of tight ends. I wouldn't be surprised to see him make a big leap in his third year.
  21. I'm curious as to the ages of the Brady haters. I wonder if they're generally younger and have experienced nothing other than Pats azz-whoopings?
  22. Brady has earned my respect over the years. Yes, I hated the Pats and in turn Brady, but mostly it was misplaced anger over the sorry state of our franchise. What the guy continues to do at age 43 is amazing. At a certain point you've just got to tip your hat to the guy. He's the GOAT. And I like the storyline of him punctuating his career with a non-Belichick title. The Chiefs seem like punks. And was anyone else filled with rage watching that human filth Tyreek Hill smiling on the sidelines?
  23. RB is a huge need for sure. Singletary regressed badly this season. I was expecting a huge year from him and he just flat out didn't perform. His drop on Sunday night changed the entire complexion of the game. He had a 20 yard gain ahead of him. At worst we kick a field goal and extend the lead to 12-7, but if he catches that and we go in and add a TD - everything changes, imo. That play literally took the wind out of our sails. You could see it on the body language of the entire team.
