  1. You chose this as your first post? Really? Stat box critics are trash. Josh did everything we want out of a QB yesterday and threw maybe two bad passes all day.
  2. Yes. A couple of jaw-droppers. I don't know how the stars went but for me it was #3 - Skinner, #2 - Ullmark, #1 - Eichel Edit: I'll just add that I can't remember the last time I saw that the "backup" goalie was playing and it didn't matter to me. That's how good Linus has been.
  3. Easily Josh's best game as a passer in his early career. Was on the money all day long. If his receivers fight for the ball he has at least 2-3 more lengthy completions. Threw it away rather than risking INTs. I am very excited for the last two games of the season, but especially next year when the OL/receiver issues are addressed.
  4. This is the Eichel we all dreamed of having when we "lost" the McDavid sweepstakes. What a season he is having -- and he's only 22! Just dominated play again last night, and Ullmark was terrific. This team is a joy to watch, despite the harrowing finishes...
  5. McD showed me something by allowing Josh to throw the ball (big play to Croom) and then going for 4th to ice the win at the end. That was a big step forward in gameday coaching for McCoach, and shows he is starting to trust Josh.
  6. David Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald said hi.
  7. Umm, yeah, thanks, I've only been watching college BB for about 35 years. The severity of these runs was unusual. 21-2 for UB, then 18-4 for SIU in the 1st half. Then 26-11 UB to start the 2nd half. That's not "normal."
  8. Very strange game. UB up big early, then SIU cuts it to five, then UB goes back up 19, then it gets down to single digits late. Still, they got the W. With Syracuse dropping a shocker to ODU today at home you know they'll be out for blood Tuesday. UB had better be ready.
  9. I mentioned this one in the favorite Christmas movie thread. Not sure I have a favorite story line...I think my least favorite is the Karl/Sarah one, simply because you want her to ignore her brother (whom she can't really help anyway) and think about herself for just 15 freaking minutes.
  10. Hughes = winner That game check (and partial suspension) for the ref hurt him far more than Hughes' fine.
  11. This pretty much describes me (sans the kids). I consider it a European lifestyle; a few drinks a day is "normal" and I rarely drink "to get drunk" or because I feel I "need it." I can't remember the last time my drinking had a negative impact on me or anyone around me. If some want to call me an alcoholic so be it; I won't deny it. I've thought about cutting back during the week but then I ask myself who would I be doing that for? i talk to my doctors and they don't seem to be interested in telling me to do anything different.
  12. Those were a couple of big wins this week...and nice to see some secondary scoring come forward as well. Would love to squeeze two points out of the weekend games at WAS and BOS.
  13. Little too much cushion for the pushin' with Milana...and 6.5? Maybe on an octal system.
  14. I love the Robin parodies for their unabashed brilliance. George Takei's Gay Christmas was pretty hilarious as well.
  15. Milana's cute but Emma Stone blows her out of the water. Not even same universe.
  16. This week Howard Stern played several "depressing" Christmas songs and they were unbelievable. One about a kid asking Santa for shoes for his dying mom so she would be wearing them to meet Jesus, one about a homeless kid who dies in Santa's lap...like, what in the hell were these "artists" thinking?
  17. I'm gonna go out on a (not so long) limb and say that if you were in her presence (and not simply looking at film or a photo) I predict you'd have difficulty speaking.
  18. Yeah, thanks for posting this. I read comments from folks griping about a few turnovers at the blue line and just shake my head. Eichel is playing at an elite level right now and there is no other way to slice it.
  19. I've been a huge Shady proponent but I think his time has come. I believe if the OL was even adequate he could have had a good year but another season gone and at the salary he will earn next season I don't think he's worth it. Definitely has been worth the investment to date but it's time to pass the torch. It's a shame -- wish he was just a couple of years younger and could be a part of what I think this Bills team will become.
  20. If Endgame doesn't bring back Spidey, Black Panther, Dr. Strange, etc., I don't see myself paying to go watch one of their "new" pre-death sequels.
  21. Well, duh! Of course talent matters. But what did the Sabres acquire for Drunkin' Donut? Not all that much talent. They could have kept him and much of the talent you mention would still have been brought in.
  22. Beware the preemptive "QBR is a joke" responses...but that said, it is the one "ranking" that at least tries to incorporate a QB's entire game and not just his passing prowess. There's no question Josh needs to improve in that area, and I think he will with a better OL and surrounding cast of skill players. It is indisputable, however, that over the last three games Allen has almost singlehandedly given the Bills a chance to win, and that's what being a "total" QB is all about.
