  1. But most importantly....WHEN?
  2. Trade for Clark, draft Oliver, then spend every remaining draft pick on offense.
  3. So the question becomes what draft picks do you offer if you're Buffalo (and you're willing to give Clark a new deal)? Seattle has lost leverage... This almost makes too much sense for it not to happen. The Bills have Josh's rookie deal for another couple of years so they can absorb a big cap hit for a couple of seasons.
  4. Quick, somebody let @Jay_Fixit know!
  5. I'm no moderator, but I do believe this is the definition of badgering a fellow poster for no good reason. I mean, if you're going to continue to insult me at least be funny. I'm really sorry that you are likely stuck in a dead-end job with no true authority or control, so you use this board as your way of being "the man" who tells everyone the way it is. Pretty sad, dude. Most of us are just here for a few laughs and to discuss the Bills. I hope your crusade against the Pegulas works out for ya, sport.
  6. Yeah, well Jamal Adams said the Jets' uniform photos leaked were fake also...
  7. Aside from superstars and your own drafted players EVERY team undergoes significant turnover every 3-5 years -- even the good ones. The free agents, with a couple of exceptions, are not intended to be here for more than a couple of years. The Bills need to draft well, re-sign their own, and fill glaring holes through free agency. I think their plan is sound and as we approach this draft we have our QB, some decent young talent drafted over the past two years, no glaring holes, and 10 draft picks to work the board. As I've stated in many threads reasonable minds may differ over whether Beane and McD "needed" to break it down, but that debate is 100% irrelevant at this juncture. It's all about what they're building and whether they will be successful. Their plan is crystal clear.
  8. My dream of a monster defense does not preclude the team from scoring points, good sir!
  9. Yes, Yes, Yes. This is my dream scenario.
  10. Which is why I'd love for them to trade for Clark and draft Oliver.
  11. Tre White is starting to look a lot like Lorax.
  12. My dream scenario would be for the Bills to trade w/ Seattle for Clark but keep their #9 pick and draft Oliver. The defense would (potentially) be an absolute beast. I'm satisfied (for now) with what they've done for the offensive line in FA, and expect them to draft a TE, WR, and RB as well.
  13. The permitted "dead ball" activities are hilarious; i.e., "defensive players may not catch a ball regardless of who is throwing it" -- why is that in there? I suppose the one good thing is that Allen can throw to his new receivers.
  14. He really is the proverbial broken clock. He's right about twice a day, but unfortunately he keeps pontificating and "teaching" us all day long. It's remarkable he has now arrived at the conclusion that the Pegulas should be criticized for making things too "comfy" for the Bills by investing in the facilities before they've won championships.
  15. Go Blue Jackets! Go Isles! Absolutely love seeing "traditional" powerhouses like TB and PIT go down.
  16. Folks are still using this as a complaint of the show? I haven't (and don't plan to) read the books but my understanding is that GOT diverged from the books a good long time ago...and why does it matter?
  17. No, you just like to hear yourself talk. ???
  18. Dude. Augusta is all about the greens.
  19. Brand new rule for 2019. Flagstick may be left in while on green. Statistics suggest you should leave it in, but most pros still take it out. When I'm playing I've been leaving it in for putts of 10 ft. or more, then taking it out for the short ones. The other "big" new rule in 2019 is taking a drop from knee height rather than shoulder height. No, it's complete b.s. Tiger would have lost four balls today on any "regular" course. August has very few areas of true "trouble."
  20. Just because you keep repeating yourself doesn't mean you're right. Really. Who is accepting mediocrity? Most of us are talking about what looks like a cohesive plan that is moving the team forward. You like to live in a world of 20-20 hindsight, which is really easy and lazy.
  21. The Chargers have one of the most talented rosters in the league, led by a fringe HOF-caliber QB. As we've debated in other threads, the Bills (Beane/McD) made a conscious decision to turn away from the roster Whaley left them. Whether you agree or disagree with what they did and why, the roster lost talent and it's actually pretty remarkable they won 6 games a year ago. The point is they have a plan and are seeing it through. I think it's disingenuous (at best) to continue to bring up Mahomes as a "blunder" by McD or the Pegulas. He was FAR from a "sure thing" prospect and he wound up in a perfect spot. I won't blame a first-year HC for catering to his strengths and acquiring a talent like Tre White.
  22. I really like Koepka. He's got nerves of steel also and I don't expect him to fade.
  23. Whoa, and just like that Molinari bogeys 7 and Tiger has a kick-in for birdie. Fasten your seatbelts!
  24. In my estimation the Pegulas have only made one major blunder with respect to the Bills -- hiring Rex. It was a "flashy" move completely driven by Russ Brandon -- a man they trusted, the guy who "shepherded" them through the sale process. They got burned. As I've mentioned in other threads Whaley was in over his head -- a fantastic scout and talent evaluator who had no clue how to build a team and didn't (as far as we know) exert his influence nearly enough in the HC hiring process. Aside from that I have few complaints. Yes, the W-L record hasn't been stellar but everything is trending in the right direction. I believe (you may disagree) that Beane in particular was a home run hire. I love the culture McD has instilled but he has yet to show me he's a better-than-average game day coach.
  25. Molinari is freaking unflappable. Not playing great by any means right now but 6 straight pars including two monster saves. If not for Francesco you'd be looking at 12 guys between -8 and -10! Still a lot of golf left, but it doesn't look like Molinari is going to come back to the field.
