  1. I've never seen someone double down on stupidity the way you have in these two threads. It's remarkable, really.
  2. Nah, Mr. Big Shot is just too important for all of this. He's not traveling to games so he doesn't need dates to make plans -- and even better, he can make fun of those who do. How fun! Freaking neanderthal.
  3. Yeah, and this is what I'm talking about when it comes to UVA fans. Even when I extend the olive branch in my post above in this thread he can't just accept the congrats and move on...he has to keep preaching.
  4. Such a simple mind...
  5. Hey why don't you and Jay_Fixit go down to the gym and pump each other.
  6. Agreed. And to be fair, I'm not knocking the 'bod...for me she defines the term butterface. I'm sure she's a lovely woman, and in the right light...
  7. I think that is the exact opposite of the NFL's motto. Nah, present day caveman Jay_Fixit watches all of the games from his couch while he orders his woman to serve food and beverages, so he doesn't care when they are -- and he wants to make sure we all know about it! It takes a special person to invade a thread simply to tell people interested in the topic that they're all stupid. Really special.
  8. Yeah, Senator, I'm sorry....really.
  9. Extrapolating the bolded above -- basically, the Cards need to evaluate what they believe to be the realistic potential (floor and ceiling) for both QBs. If the evaluation is relatively close, the smart move is to trade out of #1 and acquire talent to build around Rosen. You draft Murray if you believe his ceiling far surpasses Rosen's and/or if Kingsbury tells you Murray is a much better fit for his offense.
  10. Is he still jumping out of swimming pools?
  11. A mere step above primates.
  12. Hey man, cheers to you -- you successfully pissed in the punch bowl! Hope it made your morning!
  13. Not offended, just curious at the mentality of someone who chooses to do what you did. I've apparently struck a nerve.
  14. No, you specifically entered a thread you admittedly have no interest in, to tell everyone you have no interest in it. You can try to rationalize that to yourself all you want, chief.
  15. It's the definition of a "prove it" deal. If he returns to form, expect Beane to try and extend him.
  16. So you dropped by just to say that? How big of you!
  17. Coach K has become a shell of his former self (as a coach). It's awful. I'd argue that UNC still "does it right" as well -- their 2017 championship is a testament to that, as well as this year's team. Yes, they wound up with two 1-and-done players but one of them didn't even start and the other just exploded beyond what anyone expected. Don't get me wrong -- I really like Bennett and the type of program he runs. I have been critical of him in the past because his teams falter during the tournament. It is legitimate criticism. Virginia does recruit high level talent, however -- they aren't the "sad sack, we just take the lemons and make lemonade" sort of program I think you're characterizing them to be. I actually think the style Bennett coaches can be a detriment in recruiting highly skilled offensive players, though. So we get past this -- I liked Virginia's team and congratulate them on getting over the hump. I like Bennett. I don't like many Virginia alumni and fans.
  18. If I remember correctly it's not that they are wishy washy, it's that literally right up until they announce it they are still tinkering and dealing with stadium availability issues and whatnot. It really is an incredibly complicated process.
  19. That's great to hear because I really don't want the Bills to spend a 1st round pick on Metcalf. I'm just saying what I heard about Josh -- which is accurate.
  20. I didn't say you shouldn't be proud of the team and championship. I just don't like many (most?) of their fans and their snootiness. Bennett has had a huge problem with developing a team that could play in the tournament. Even this year (and again, congrats) look what they had to do to win it? Some unbelievable (and unbelievably lucky) circumstances. The guy who won this for you was, ironically, Guy. Congrats.
  21. 4.53 40! I'm intrigued by this guy. Not expecting or predicting anything but it should be fun to watch.
  22. Yeah it’s pretty ridiculous. There’s way too much “our schitt doesn’t stink” coming out of Charlottesville. I’d say one of their problems with recruiting is that they have a head coach who doesn’t like offense.
  23. I wish I could forget that game. Just horrid. First game of Chan Gailey’s tenure; Bills’ only TD came on a 4th down pass to Roscoe Parrish and late in the game Trentative Checkwards forgot it was 4th down and ran out of bounds.
