Game of Thrones - And Now Our Watch Has Ended!
eball replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in Off the Wall Archives
True. Arya killing Cersei as Jaime would be brilliant. -
To me it becomes less and less likely the Bills draft a RB...probably in part because Beane is going to be moving some of those draft picks to get more early round selections.

Game of Thrones - And Now Our Watch Has Ended!
eball replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Copied from other thread: Since there are three episodes left after next week we have to assume (don't we?) that the Night King will be defeated. I think Jon kills him. I think Jon, Sansa, Tyrion survive. Theon, Grey Worm, Brienne are almost certain to die. I'm thinking Jaime will live as there needs to be at least one more encounter with Cersei. When do we see Melisandre again? Edit -- on second thought maybe Jaime (Kingslayer) kills the Night King? Poetic... -

I mean, what would have been annoying is if Tormund suddenly began waxing poetic and sharing thoughts of battle strategy. I thought the giant's blood story was perfect. -

Has Tormund ever been a deep thinker on the show? Think about it. He fights, talks about f**king, and looks fierce. -

Yes, that scene definitely sealed it but that was Missandei. I'm talking about when will we see the Red Witch. -

Game of Thrones - And Now Our Watch Has Ended!

LOL at anyone who has truly watched the show and thinks last night's episode was a "waste." It was a terrific episode. For one, it reinforced that Bran and Jaime are the only two who know Jaime pushed Bran out of the tower, and that there is a "plan" for Jaime (likely a sacrifice for the greater good of the living). One of the biggest takeaways (for me) from last night was further evidence that Dany has gone beyond trying to "make the world better than we left it" and now sounds more like the power-hungry rulers before her. Everything is about "retaking the Iron Throne." This will be her undoing, as I'm now thinking she will not survive to the end. It would have been so easy for her to reassure Sansa that the North would be left on its own after the war. I wasn't at all surprised by Dany's reaction to Jon's revelation -- in her mind, the guy whose family she barbecued and Jon's brother want to undermine her. As noted above this was a last chance to see all of our "favorite" characters again, because many will die in the episode(s) to come. How can that be "annoying" or "a waste?" I guess if you only watch the show for the nudity and gore that might be your thinking. Next week the schitt hits the fan. -
Can the Bills wait past the 3rd Rd for a RB ?

What, with your wallet? What does this statement even mean? -
Gunner, you are a TBD treasure!

Bills have interest in Seattle DE Frank Clark
eball replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This makes absolutely no sense. The whole point of acquiring Clark would be to have elite players on both sides of the line. Hughes is still playing at an extremely high level. The Schefter tweet is merely Seattle posturing. Everyone knows they won't be able to pay Clark without gutting the roster. -
Gunner's 2019 Draft Quarterback Evaluations
eball replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Great writeup, Gunner...the best thing I can say is I'm so glad the Bills don't have to worry about it this year! I couldn't agree more with respect to Daniel Jones. It has shocked me that he has been mentioned as a possible 1st round draft choice. -
Popovich, Food and Wine ... and McDermott
eball replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
McD says things that are uncomfortable to a lot of men. He talks about the players on the team loving each other and he means it. If we ever get the right combination of talent on this team they’ll be unstoppable. -
2nd year QB most likely to suffer a sophomore slump (by a WIDE margin) -- Lamar Jackson I think Allen and Darnold should take big steps forward, Mayfield should continue to be solid, and who knows where Rosen ends up so that's a crap shoot.

Probably NFL Network. I do like Eisen. The other schlubs, I couldn't care less.

When they're 13-1 and have locked up home field they'll be able to rest guys against the Pats*** and Jets. -
Daniel Jeremiah: "Bills more than open to trading back"
eball replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I really want one of the difference makers at DT...it's by far the Bills' greatest need at this point and the talent is there to fit the BPA analysis. Hard to envision them trading themselves out of the ability to get one of these guys...UNLESS they have a higher grade than the "experts" on another DT... -
Bills 2019 schedule officially released
eball replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm far too lazy to do this, but I'm sure somebody has analyzed whether there are any patterns that correlate timing of the bye with making the playoffs. -
Nobody mentioned Albright-Knox?
-
Yes, yes, yes. I live in Durham and watched this kid play. He will be a clipboard holder at best in the NFL. If I'm wrong, I'll be the first to eat crow. But I think the crows are safe.
