  1. And who, exactly, did that? The post that got you all hot and bothered said "12-4 is achievable."
  2. Yeah, umm, I think you just don't get it. Calling someone "crazy" for something that isn't at all "crazy" isn't the way to go about this. And by the way, I'm interested in your rationale for 6-10 when the Bills had that record last year with a rookie QB, a less talented team, and harder schedule. If we're talking about crazy....
  3. This is cool. No idea whether or not it helps a team prepare for the regular season, but it's fun for the fans.
  4. Do you think it encourages productive conversation to call someone "crazy" who thinks the Bills could win 12 games? It's an optimistic prediction, sure, but where are the five "certain" losses in your estimation? If we ignore the Pats*** and look at the other 14 games, there's not a single one for which I couldn't come up with a reasonable scenario for the Bills to win. It's all a matter of whether you think things will go their way or not. I think most fans would concede it is more likely than not the Bills won't win 12, but if you look at the way they ended last season and all of the moves they have made, a significant improvement from last year's six wins is also likely -- particularly given a more favorable schedule. This is just my own $.02, but I think a reasonable range of W-L expectations for the Bills this season is anywhere from 8-8 to 12-4. If they win fewer than that something has gone wrong -- either Allen regressed, there were too many injuries, or the coaching stunk. Seeing as how McD got 9-7 out of a roster that had less talent than this one I'm optimistic about the prospects.
  5. This. While primetime games throw off a team's routine to a certain extent, the players enjoy being in the spotlight. You can bet they will use "they think we're not good enough to be given a primetime game" to their advantage. Every little edge helps.
  6. So if you crave primetime games you hate the schedule. If you actually care about whether or not the Bills win football games I think you have to like this schedule. Sure, they open on the road X2 but those are both very winnable games -- and then they get 5 of 6 at home! That's a dream first half schedule and gives them an opportunity to put the league on notice. Thanksgiving is a de facto prime time game, anyway. I see very good things happening for the Bills this season.
  7. Really excited about this schedule. Already have plans booked for W4 against the Pats*** and will soon have plans locked up for Dec. 8 vs. the Ravens. Possibility of trip to Nashville in W5. Love the Thanksgiving game. The NFL schedule makers really did the Bills a favor (for once) with a front-loaded home schedule. They will have every opportunity to put a good record out there and gain confidence as the season progresses. Now, on to the draft!
  8. This post made my day. Cheers to you!
  9. Jesus, man, read the thread a little bit.
  10. Isn’t Barnwell just throwing out crazy trade ideas?
  11. Not by a longshot. Particularly for those of us who work, staying up for a midnight finish on Sunday or Monday nights is brutal. I actually wish that during the football season I lived on the West Coast, as I'd love 10 a.m. kickoffs.
  12. Check your sarcasm/having fun detector, Scott...
  13. Isn't Breakthrough little more than a Christianity propaganda film? I mean, that's what the trailer looked like when I was at the movies recently. No thanks.
  14. Dark and full of terrors indeed! (and apparently a bit chilly)
  15. All day, every day.
  16. Well, when they fire Gase after starting 0-3 they'll have a chance to right the ship with Gregggggggo taking command.
  17. This doesn't sound like fun.
  18. Not anyone in this thread.
  19. It's like 75% of the visitors to this thread are my grandparents.
  20. I detect a distinct inability to decipher sarcasm in this thread for some reason...
  21. Do any of you people know how to read a spreadsheet?
  22. Saw a funny tweet: "It's crazy the Bills won't play in New York until W3."
  23. Seriously. They should just stay the week!
  24. Oh, you're such a scamp. Couldn't stay away from a schedule release thread, could ya?
  25. By W10 we should have a good sense of the Bills and Browns. If things go well that's going to be a big game in the AFC playoff picture.
