Can we expand this to phrases?
"Unanswered points" is #1 on my list. EVERY freaking announcer uses it now -- INCORRECTLY.
Points are only "unanswered" if the other team NEVER SCORES AGAIN.
Can you tell this pisses me off? So lazy. Just say "so-and-so have scored the last 14 points" or "so-and-so have scored 14 points in a row." It's not difficult.
Yeah, I think this kind of thing happens more often than you think. Of course the player has to be on board, but if the Bills like him and vice-versa then keeping him on IR for a season (he's getting paid) is a good deal for both parties. There does need to be a real injury, although the injury doesn't necessarily have to be one that would have kept him out all year.
That was awesome. Good looking family too. Lorax wants to hang around the team and serve some sort of role, and I'm sure McD and Beane will be more than happy to make that happen.
I expect no fewer than three primetime games. They have a great schedule...home games vs. KC, NE***, PIT, LAR, SEA, and road games vs. OAK (in the new Vegas stadium), NE***, SF, TEN.
I think the fact the Browns are moving forward with their other interviews means Daboll isn't the frontrunner. If a guy blows you away you don't "complete the process" -- you make the hire.
