  1. Well, the good news is that Miami appears to be just as charitable through the air as they are on the ground. They're giving up 270 passing yards per game (likely underestimated since teams have been up so big in the 2nd half) and 170 rushing yards. As they say nowadays, it would appear that many Buffalo offensive skill players are "about to eat."
  2. 3-0 on the road thus far my friend...
  3. Yeah, and screw that other guy who looks like Deion just announced he was running for President or something. Heaven forbid someone mentions that the Bills are playing legitimately good football.
  4. I would much rather the Pats*** take care of business against the Jets this week -- I don't want the Jets suddenly feeling as though they have a chance at the playoffs because motivation is a powerful thing and as you've noted the schedule opens up for them. Also, I'm not ready to crown the Jets just yet because of one good half of football. They let Dallas back in the game and had to hold on for dear life.
  5. You're entitled to your opinion but there are really no facts to support the notion that Miami will be able to move the ball consistently and score against this Bills D. If Milano can't go that's a big loss but with as much as this D is dialed in it may not make a difference. I'd like to see Singletary return and get a good number of touches, and obviously I'd like to see the Bills' O dominate and score 28+.
  6. Our two favorite whipping boys came through today. Scandella made the breakout pass to Eichel that ended up on Olof's stick for the first goal of the game, and Sobotka made a nifty dime to Skins and then also won the faceoff that resulted in goal #4. Krueger is getting production out of these guys!
  7. Part of asking a question includes challenging certain assumptions. Not sure why you're taking a stand on this one...
  8. Has the bad ankle affected him that much over the past couple of games? Anyway, I said I wasn't throwing shade and I know what his numbers are...I'm still curious.
  9. But the Pegulas were idiots for letting him leave!
  10. It's certainly still too early to claim victory here, but I may need to revise the topic title after this 3-game homestand... I mean, they will be favored in every home game left and is there any road game the Bills shouldn't feel as if they have at least a 50/50 shot in? Yes, I'm including the game in Foxboro with that statement.
  11. Yeah, the Chargers are dealing with injuries but have proven to be dangerous...their problem is they still haven't even played the Chefs. The Brownies have talent but a hillbilly HC and regressing QB. The Titans are toast -- they'll still beat some teams up defensively but the two-headed Mariota/Tannehill QB monster is embarrassing. The Jags are saddled with Saint Doug. If Buffalo can't legitimately push the Pats*** for the East they seem almost destined for that #5 slot.
  12. Mods, please feel free to close this one down. The Jets proved me wrong -- barely. I see them winning five or six now. Not enough to get into the playoff race but they will be competitive in most games, I think, unless Sam keeps getting teenage diseases.
  13. I am NOT throwing shade on Mahomes so please don't interpret this post in that way. Yesterday was the first full game I watched of his in a while, and while he is clearly talented he was lucky on the first TD to Hill. The Texans' DB was in perfect position to intercept or bat it down. Now if you give Mahomes credit for taking a shot knowing he had a "free play" I agree, but it was still lucky (as opposed to being a brilliant throw). Also, I see him throwing off balance, sidearm, or off the wrong foot way too often. I expected to see a QB throwing darts right on his receivers' hands but that's not what happened. His mechanics are not sound. Mahomes has the benefit of really outstanding skill and speed at the WR and TE positions, and I can't help but wonder what other QBs' performances would look like in those situations.
  14. No. Such. Thing.
  15. ...after looking at what happened around the AFC yesterday. The Bills increased their lead in the AFC wild card race over the Browns, Jags, Chargers, and Titans -- they are now three games up in the loss column over all four. The Colts and Raiders are only a game back but I'm still not "buying" the Raiders as a winning team, and we'll see what they look like the next two weeks @GB and @Houston. The Colts are talented and well coached, and have a big game hosting Houston next week. I realize Brissett has arguably better numbers than Josh Allen but for some reason I'm still not sold on the former as a guy who will lead a team to the playoffs. I certainly could be wrong. In any event, the standings certainly shifted in the Bills' favor with yesterday's results. And no, I'm not giving up on winning the East, either. The Pats*** do not look invincible -- at all.
  16. Yeah, schitt happens. Glad they shot their wad today against a very overrated Cowpoke squad.
  17. I won’t be surprised if Miami beats Washington this week.
  18. Fug it, why not win the division?
  19. I think it would be kind of strange for Larry Fitzgerald to stay in Cincinnati.
  20. Well, my wife and I were fans of TWD and FTWD -- watched them both religiously -- but we haven't watched TWD since the first couple of episodes post-Rick, and we haven't watched FTWD since that weird crazy lady who left boxes for people. Don't miss either one. Totally jumped the shark.
  21. No, the ridiculous comment is complaining about a player's contract when said contract isn't preventing the team from doing anything it wants to do -- and the player is contributing.
  22. Star's contract isn't preventing the Bills from doing anything they want to do, roster wise. He's contributing and he's not causing problems. Stop worrying about his salary as if you're paying it. I just don't understand all of the complaining. All I've heard is how the Bills have no Stars. That's simply not true.
  23. I don't think this signing bears any relevance whatsoever to Singletary's health. Perry isn't being signed to carry the rock. Motor will be back in the lineup on October 20.
