That’s high praise, and yet another testament to the influence of Aaron “beach chairs” Kromer. Many of us noted the importance of that hire back in 2022 and our hopes have been rewarded in spades. Anybody still bemoaning the release of Mitch Morse and questioning whether Connor McGovern can play center? Beane and his crew have simply pushed all the right buttons, and I’m sure that decision was heavily influenced by discussions with Kromer. But to your point, Spencer has taken those raw skills and developed into an absolute beast of a RT.

Bills should treat this like a preseason game after giving Josh his start and one series.

So, how is everyone feeling about this defense going into the playoffs?
eball replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall
My hot take? We underestimate how much injuries have hampered this defense in certain games this year, and we’re finally getting healthy at the right time. This is the year the defense doesn’t let us down in the playoffs. -
They are having a lot of fun. It’s a great team to root for.

Nice. Which island? My wife and I honeymooned in Maui and have celebrated multiple anniversaries there, as well as Kauai.

Jets begin Coaching Search in the most Hysterical Way Possible

Oh, please, please, please let them hire Rex. That would be the gift that keeps on giving… -

The Fish are an interesting matchup only because they know us so well and they have skill players (Achane, Hill, Jonnu) who could give us problems…but we are also so much in their heads it’s funny, and Josh owns them. I wouldn’t fear this game. The Broncos are a tough team but after watching them a little bit the past couple of weeks they just don’t scare me. I’ve said previously I want no part of the Bengals. We’d have to win a shootout and while that’s certainly possible with Josh, the nervousness level would be very, very high. I think I “want” the Broncos, based almost solely on the rookie QB factor in his first playoff game.

Who are the best OC and DC the Bills had since the Super Bowl days?
eball replied to NoName's topic in The Stadium Wall
For OC I think you have to say Brady...the offense is putting up numbers that are in rare air...but I sure would have liked to see what Chan Gailey could do with this personnel. For DC Wade Phillips was fantastic. Ted Cottrell is underrated but I often wonder if his success was a function of the personnel he had to work with. Frazier is downgraded in my mind because of the playoff failures. -
Will the Jets and the Patriots be tanking the last two games?
eball replied to tomur67's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t think the Jests will tank — they’re just not very good. If the Bills can get up by a couple of scores it could get ugly, though… As others have noted, the Pats*** will be playing hard. They also think they let one get away in OP last week. -
Broncos, Ravens, Chiefs - Can the Bills run through this gauntlet.
eball replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
Was going to say something similar. The AFC is a 3-horse race in my opinion…it’s a roll of the dice for KC, Baltimore, and Buffalo. The Bills’ chances rely almost completely on the defense stepping up and not making any stupid ST mistakes. -
Chiefs @ Steelers (no Bills talk in here please)

The Stillers suck. What a fraud of a team. -
Without even commenting on the topic of this thread (Elam’s play) it’s absolutely hilarious that the thread is a microcosm of the posters around here. Those known to criticize everything McD and Beane do are berating the OP, while those who are more even keeled are at least reasonably discussing the merits of the OP. You be you, TSWers…

The Bills are arguably the least injured team in the NFL right now
eball replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
True, but thankfully that's not the case. -
…the Bills should shut it down for the last two weeks and use that time as their “bye”…they need to get healthy, particularly on defense. Give Trubisky a couple of starts and play the backups. Call guys up from the PS. Start game planning for all potential playoff opponents. Now, of course, if the Stillers do win then the 1 seed is still in play and it looks like Denver will have something to play for in W18 vs. KC, so my opinion completely changes. Edit: ahh, sorry, I thought the 2 seed was locked up if the Stillers lose. Point taken.

Diontae Johnson to the Ravens (now claimed by Houston)
eball replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sends the wrong message to the team. The WR room is tight, and injury free. Why even mess around with this guy? -

Good lord…why on earth mess with team chemistry and culture by bringing in a malcontent like that? Hard pass.
