  1. You're the keyboard jockey who called a young man living his dream and fighting for a spot on an NFL roster a "loser." Suffice it to say, I don't think any of us give a fkuk about anything you type, so go slink back into your mother's basement.
  2. Should be good to go for the opener or W2. He knows the offense and his role; could be much, much worse. As others have noted, more reps for the younger guys to build their case for the 53...
  3. Always go with the counterclockwise swirl. Write it on your hand if you can't remember.
  4. I think you’re being harsh on the kid - and he IS still a kid. Not as young as Tremaine Edmunds, but a kid. He has exhibited a tremendous attitude and seems to be willing to work. And his speed shows when the ball is in his hands, much like Shakir. Maybe you don’t like his personality and goofiness in interviews and are interpreting that to mean he isn’t serious? I think that would be a mistake.
  5. An excellent band! If you’re ever looking for some walk up music I suggest “The Man”…
  6. What’s CMAC? Is it a Rochester venue?
  7. Vic is super knowledgeable and never goes out on a limb. I do think he sometimes gets stuck in an “old school” mentality but in today’s world where everyone in the media is trying to have a hot take he is a welcome reminder of what reporting and commentary used to be.
  8. And I think that’s exactly what it is and what the Bills intend it to be. For the fans it’s a “get the kids out, see your heroes circling the venue tossing balls and signing autographs” event. For the team it’s a break for the players and a chance for the young guys to experience the stadium. No need to make it more than what it is.
  9. Yes. He also has two questions and a comment and will hang up and listen…
  10. Right, and he also went all the way around the stadium throwing with kids before practice. Not sure what great “disappointment” people are talking about.
  11. So you’re admitting you will always be guided by your confirmation bias? Duly noted. Lots of Josh Allen bashers clung to that for four or five years also!
  12. You and @Ethan in Cleveland need to get together and hold each other…
  13. I don’t believe him. I’ve heard several on this forum claim Josh doesn’t put the work in and only cares about golf and doing commercials.
  14. Stay downtown! Tons of cool Airbnbs in Allentown and Elmwood.
  15. Not the point. What I’m addressing is the notion that Burrow is as talented as Josh, not whether the Bills’ defense let them down.
  16. To your point…put Burrow on the Bills the past five seasons and what do you think you have? I think we all know the answer.
  17. This is definitely the “silver lining” or “glass half full” perspective, and I think the coaches would generally agree that getting younger, more inexperienced players a chance to have more reps against the 1s is helpful for their development and to see where they stand. Of course, the “glass half empty” perspective is that you want your starters ready by week one and they need the reps to get into “football shape.” The reality is obviously a balance of the two, but to this point nothing about the type of injuries the Bills are dealing with is overly concerning to me.
  18. I’ve been perusing various articles as TC has gotten started, and one of the things that sticks out is media coverage of how many picks a QB has thrown in practice. I remember Mahomes’ first “real” season as the starter when it was reported that he threw 5 picks in one practice (or something like that), and we all know what happened next. Well, I just read that Drake Maye hasn’t thrown a pick in 7 practices. Saw the same for some other QB (might have been Mahomes -- edit: it was Tua). How much stock do you put into that? My feeling has always been that practice is the time to try everything and force throws you wouldn’t necessarily make during the season. Josh has thrown a number of picks this camp, but it doesn’t worry me at all. It strikes me as being similar to the way media reports completion percentages in camp…i.e., not worth much of anything. Agree? Disagree?
  19. I posted this in the other thread that talked about their appearance, but the difference (to me) this year is that the Bills are now absolutely spoken of as one of the “cream of the crop” teams in the NFL, and both Miller and Kirwan staunchly defended the selection of Josh as MVP. Remember, last year nearly every pundit predicted a “step back” for Buffalo and the rise of the Jets and Fish. Now, it’s all about “who’s playing for 2nd place” in the division. It’s a very satisfying listen (despite Miller’s mushmouth), and the interviews are excellent.
  20. I find I spend most of my time trying not to hate other Bills fans! 😉 I’m now lucky enough to be semi-retired and my wife and I love to travel. Just this year alone we’ve been to Vietnam, Cambodia, and southern France (Provence), and in October we’re going to Malaga (Spain) to visit friends who left the US permanently and moved there in March. I’m a golf junkie…play a couple of times a week and plan to start devoting some real time to practice with the goal of getting my handicap into single digits. Oh, and according to Badol on this site I’m a drunk! Cheers and Go Bills! 🍻
  21. When Jim Ritcher played offensive linemen were <300 lbs… 😂
  22. Trey Lance looked pretty good against Harris Teeter’s finest…
