  1. I didn’t hear that sort of detail…just going by his post-practice comments. I’d guess it’s more like 60-40; they’ll see if he suffers any setbacks and whether it is tight on Sunday morning.
  2. Sounds like Codrington is trending towards playing this weekend. Practiced ST (but not defense) on Thursday.
  3. Best wishes to any of you and your friends/family who are being impacted by this. Just awful.
  4. I'll never say never, but if the Bills play the way they have played over the past 12 weeks and nothing crazy (injuries) happens, I don't see how this game is in dispute in the 4th quarter.
  5. I listened to that clip and I just think Dan is trying to make himself sound more credible because he has been so over-the-top about the Bills and Allen this season. I agree with you that the “take away 1/2 of the field” notion doesn’t make sense to me against the Bills. I think Allen is going to work the middle of the field with his RBs and TEs (and Shakir) and give Denver all sorts of trouble. And while everyone is praising Denver’s defense they have done it against some of the worst opposition around, while coming up short against winning football teams. They are a team headed in the right direction but they have not yet “arrived” in my opinion.
  6. I’m not belittling the guy, just pointing out that he’s a company shill. Everybody has to make a living and he gets to hang out with an NFL team. There are worse gigs.
  7. They've got zero rizz, that's for sure...
  8. Kirwan and Miller give waaaaaay too much leeway to callers, also -- let them go on and on. They forget it's a show people are actually listening to. Whenever they take calls I turn it back to music.
  9. Right, I forgot about the Sirius NFL channel. I give that a little bit of a listen. I agree, Gannon is pretty good and I like listening to Kirwan, but I can't stand that mushmouth partner of his, Jim Miller. Just awful. Talk about a guy who should never be allowed to speak in public.
  10. I think Bayless started out, believe it or not, as a reasonably competent and credible writer/reporter. He went "showbiz" when he saw that well drying up.
  11. Even if I lived in Buffalo I wouldn't listen to those morons. Local talk/sports radio blows no matter where you are. I get all of my Bills news here, The Buffalo News, or through Twitter/X.
  12. It's the reason why "team reporters" is a misnomer. They're just the NFL version of Baghdad Bob.
  13. This poor guy bounces up and down more than a Super-Ball.
  14. [pats self on back] My thoughts exactly when I posted a couple of days ago...Cook and Ty Johnson in line for big games.
  15. Still in my top 5 all-time for games attended. Went from an "oh, crap" feeling to "holy s-h-i-t!!!" in about five minutes. Rich Stadium was insane.
  16. Where's Guy Chamberlin when you need him? C'mon, Terry...
  17. The Ravens have so much more to lose this weekend…the Steelers are playing with house money. I expect Tomlin to have them loose and ready to go. Baltimore is clearly the better team but this is going to be a one score game in the 4th quarter and anything can happen.
  18. That was a fun watch. Does anyone really think they won’t be focused and ready?
  19. It’s a shame some feel the need to start threads like this. I used to do it occasionally, but I then realized that nobody is changing anyone’s mind in this forum with a few exceptions. We are who we are — and the bottom line is that none of us have any impact upon what happens on the field. At our best, we are united in hoping for a Bills Super Bowl win. At our worst, we argue over things we can’t control and try to prove we are “right” or know more than someone else. I’ll say what I always say: this is a fun team and I’m thankful to be watching a guy like Josh Allen represent our team and fan base. Only one team wins the Super Bowl each year and a lot of things have to go right to get there. Go Bills!
  20. Just calling it like I see it. I have no idea what in the world you see as a similarity between these two situations other than just being a sad sack Bills fan looking for reasons to torture yourself.
  21. It sounds to me as though right now Keon's highest and best use is as a "big slot" guy and in the red zone (where he can go up and get a ball). It's not beating corners and it's (as Steve says) certainly not as an X. Hopefully Brady sees that as well for his use in the playoffs, and then we can see what he works on and (hopefully) where he improves.
  22. Man, it's really hard waiting for Sunday's game...
