  1. Monitoring and taking away season tickets...it goes hand in hand. I don't doubt they know what's going on with TM. I still think it's extremely unlikely the Bills will be targeting ST holders of a couple of seats who sell 2/3 of them because they live out of state.
  2. You’re acting as if you know this actually occurs. From what I gather, you’re just surmising. I think it’s highly unlikely the Bills (or any other team) are going to be monitoring and taking away season tickets from somebody who owns two seats, goes to a couple of games, and sells the rest.
  3. It’s the SD/LA Chargers…12-24-2 in the regular season but 2-1 in the playoffs (two AFL championships)…go figure.
  4. If only McGovern could learn to overcome his training camp snap issues…
  5. The Bills’ all-time record against the Fish (including playoffs) is 60-62-1. This is the year we get to .500 — which is remarkable given the 0-for-the-70s drought. Can anyone guess (without looking it up) against which team the Bills have the worst W/L record? The answer was surprising to me.
  6. There’s no evidence to suggest he will do that or that the Bills need him to. He’s a really, really good #2 TE and he’ll get his share of receptions and a couple of TDs. That is all we need. It’s Kincaid who needs to blow up the stat sheet.
  7. Knox isn’t a sleeper; I don’t think people understand his role and importance to this offense. He’s not going to blow up the stat sheet but he plays more snaps than anyone and is a key cog. He’s underrated but not a sleeper.
  8. Thunderstruck is an awesome song for intros…
  9. If you think what the Bills have done over the past five seasons is “slightly better than average” I really don’t know what to say. As for the premise of the thread…any fan who doesn’t appreciate what we have now and only measures success by one trophy is, in my opinion, delusional.
  10. Is this thread why 26CornerBlitz is gone?
  11. It gets a lot of laughs and eye rolls from the dome crowd, but “wind confusion” technology is a thing. Also, they’ve adjusted the orientation of the stadium/field — no doubt to address weather/environmental conditions as well. They hire engineers to do this stuff for a reason.
  12. Glad somebody else picked up on this. Not that there’s anything wrong with it. 😂
  13. Latest flyover of new stadium is here. The old stadium in the background looks laughably pathetic!
  14. I think in order to truly evaluate this question you first need an agreed-upon list of who the "franchise QBs" are in the league. I'll suggest that these are QBs who were drafted highly and are either still on the team they were drafted by or have received a significant multi-year contract from their current team. This eliminates journeymen or 1-year FA signees. In no particular order: AFC: Allen Mahomes Burrow Tua Maye Jackson Herbert Geno Nix Stroud Lawrence Ward NFC: Hurts Prescott Daniels Love Wilson Goff Mayfield Young Murray Purdy Stafford Darnold On that list I'm throwing out the rookies or 2nd year guys because we truly don't know yet, so Daniels, Maye, Ward, Nix, and Wilson come off. Based upon all of that, Bryce Young might be the worst "franchise" QB in the league. If we only look at guys with 2nd (or 3rd) contracts then I'd say Darnold kind of sticks out like a sore thumb, although Lawrence is right behind him. I think Murray has done more than either of those two guys. It's definitely not Baker.
  15. Mafia Con Not really my cup of tea, but looks like they’ve gotten a good haul of players who will show up. Right before camp starts.
  16. Yup. Some Americans think anything that happens in ‘merica means more because it’s ‘merica, despite the fact that the rest of the world has somehow been able to handle legalized gambling on sports.
  17. I just continue to laugh and roll my eyes at those who say Pegula “cheaped out” on the new stadium…the place is going to be amazing.
  18. I can totally understand that. My perspective is as an adult with no kids.
  19. Maybe it’s just me, but I’m not emotional at all about the Bills leaving Rich/Ralph/New Era/Highmark for that beautiful building across the street. Sure, I have a ton of great memories in the stadium but it’s not like the Bills are leaving Buffalo, and the new place is going to be amazing. And let’s face it, while Rich may have been “cutting edge” in 1973 by the 90s it was a shithole. They’ve slapped a whole lot of lipstick on that pig and it’s time to go.
  20. Before this season I’d have said Hyde. Now that he’s gone, it’s a very difficult decision because the Bills actually do have a lot of likable players who are also very good at their jobs. It’s between Dawkins, Shakir, Bernard, Benford, Knox, and Tre. Their combination of play + personality/character are pretty awesome. Milano is close, but his complete lack of personality or public persona drive him down the list. Fun topic.
  21. But will we get swept? I’m interested to see how the “last regular season game in the stadium” dynamic plays out. The place will be packed because there are a good number of fans who can’t necessarily buy playoff tickets and they’ll want to see the game. But at the end of the day, if this team is what we think they are they’ll know they have more home games coming and McD won’t do anything to jeopardize their health going into the playoffs. Love the “dead rubber” comment
  22. Camp is kinda fun. I went last year for the first time since the Fredonia days and I came to the conclusion that at least for me, the idea of going to a training camp practice is much better than the actual experience. But to each his own.
  23. Ralph is cheap.
