What’s amusing to me is how many guys on this board (not you) feel the need to come to this thread to say how much they don’t enjoy the show, and the concerns about Pegula’s “involvement” are hilarious. Some of the posters on here really just don’t get it. At all.

Love it. He wanted to be here, and they came significantly off that ridiculous 15M number. Great for both sides all around. I’ve been on record all along that Cook is a very important piece of this offense and not easily replaceable.

Did I say he was great? Even good? He's passable, and doesn't deserve the hate as if he's just some schmo out there running around.

Really tired of reading the Damar hate around here. Is he the best athlete out there? No. But he has gotten better every year, he knows the defense backwards and forwards, and he is unlikely to cost the Bills a game. I liken his play to that of Mark Kelso. We could do much worse than having to play Hamlin to start the season.

I agree. Tre is looking good and would have probably won the job to begin the season anyway. Really, the biggest negative is just Max's lack of practice reps.

Best since Shady and it isn't close. Motor gave us a little pop but Cook is the first gamebreaker at the position since McCoy.

I can appreciate these statements but the fact remains that we have never seen Burrow have to operate without elite weapons.

Except there’s nothing Mahomes and Allen can’t do. That’s why they should be the clear 1A/1B without question.

If there are any "realists" out there who expected to see what the 2025 Bills' regular season defense is going to look like in the preseason, I've got some really great investments I'd like to talk to you about.

When I look at Sean McDermott I see a guy who cares passionately about his job, has fully embraced WNY and Buffalo, respects and honors the responsibility he has been given, and works tirelessly to change and improve himself along the way. Aside from a b.s. hack job by a reporter the season after "13 seconds," there has been absolutely no evidence that players don't believe he is putting them in the best position to thrive and become the "best versions of themselves." There is also no evidence that the Bills will suddenly fall off a cliff and cease to be one of the elite teams in the NFL. I was frustrated with McDermott a couple of seasons ago when I feared perhaps he was "losing the room" but my fears were quickly assuaged once I heard the way players talk about him. It is inconceivable to me that anyone believes McD will ever be on a "hot seat" in Buffalo if he continues doing what he has been doing.

That's what I call really going above and beyond. Are they still out there on the field?

I haven’t watched the game yet, but something is amiss. Gunner says “ugh, that was rough” for Hoecht’s play but now multiple reputable podcasts (Marino, Cover1) are calling his night outstanding. ???

Maybe I’m naive, but it feels odd to me to complain about 3rd down defense when there is no scheming going on. They are literally just playing a base defense to watch what guys do.
