Bills First Rnd pick in 2025 draft: Maxwell Hairston - CB - Kentucky

I can’t imagine a guy would write “beyond blessed; thank you god” if he had a season ending injury. But that’s just me. Expecting to hear some good news from McD this morning before practice. -
You really should have stopped there… Just sayin’ 🤷🏼♂️

My dad worked for the telephone company in the 70s. Once when the installers went on strike he had to go out into the field...he had a housecall at OJ's place. When he went over OJ and Joe D were there...he got me two signed B&W photos I still have today. One of the earliest Bills games I recall watching was a game in Miami when OJ ran wild, even though (of course) the Bills lost. I think it was 1976.

So, I’m up early so I decided to start today’s thread. Question of the day: which poster will lose their schitt if Kincaid doesn’t return to practice?

Bills sign WR Kelly Akharaiyi, resign UFL WR Deon Cain
eball replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yep. He’s a perfect “camp body” for the Bills and if lightning happens to strike, so be it. They just need somebody to run routes while 4-5 guys are tending to ouchies and he has the familiarity to do it. -
He is literally the definition of “camp body” right now. The Bills have so many WRs with tweaks of some sort that they simply need guys to run plays so the QB has somebody to throw to.

I'm not happy to read about all of the injuries but I'm not worried either. There is NO reason to push guys right now (particularly starters)...if they have any sort of little "tweak" here or there the responsible thing to do is sit them out until they're good to go. The only injuries I'm concerned about are the sort you know are serious right away (fractures, ACLs, high ankle sprains, etc.). Hamstrings, muscle soreness, etc., are nothing to be distraught over.

Stadium Construction Discussion (No PSL/Seat selection posts)
eball replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah...I'm also just thinking about the way all of those associated with the project talk about the fan experience. They are acting as though fans are going to be pretty damned comfortable while "enjoying" the fact that the stadium is open air... -

The physics of “wind confusion” make sense to me. In this instance, you’ve got a very tall structure with the overhanging (and sloped) canopy that prevents wind from going straight into the stadium and “encourages” the currents to move up. Then, if the perforated panels do in fact “break up” the wind you’ve simply got a much less aggressive force attacking the structure. I’m really curious to see what it feels like inside. I assume they ran models of a full mock-up through a wind tunnel during the design stage… -
And yet you were the one typing “this is depressing”…😂

⬆️ this guy gets it 😉
-
Why is this continually mentioned? OBVIOUSLY Beane’s scouts saw traits they believed could be developed in the Bills’ scheme. They were wrong. It happens more than 50% of time. Give it a rest.

⬆️is correct. As a previous club seat holder they called me, and I bought. I live in NC.

Disagree; the great ones are the ones who don’t have to tell you who they are every 10 seconds.

That was fun to watch. It’s going to be an amazing experience. -
ESPN acquiring the NFL Network and the NFL Redzone
eball replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Please get rid of the idiot who does RedZone. I watch it in spite of him. Siciliano was light years better on the DirecTV version. Hansen is an idiot. -
Red helmets and standing Buffalo helmets confirmed.

That game will have a new helmet also. -
C’mon, man. It has nothing to do with football.

Steelers unveil their 1933 throwback uniforms to be worn this year
eball replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Completely disagree. That look was strange but it was actually interesting and historic. This is just…awful. -

Ridiculously awful. Just like the Stillers will be this year. -
Yes, my understanding is that once your PSL is paid off you can sell it to someone else.

This *could* wind up being one of the sleeper picks of the entire draft. There’s something about this kid. He’s smart, tough, and somehow got overlooked. Just sayin…
