Most "power rankings" are just folks looking at W-L records. You want an in-depth ranking? Go to The Athletic. This week the Eagles are #1 and the Bills are #2, which makes sense to me. Where is KC? #6, behind Detroit, GB, and Minnesota.

Sort of ridiculous to even consider a ranking of better than 50% for any team, for numerous reasons: 1 -- it makes absolutely no statistical sense 2 -- presumably once a team gets to the Super Bowl that is the first time they could realistically be considered to have a 50% chance or better of winning Statements about Josh "peaking too early" are insane. There are only 6 or 7 games left. He's ramping up exactly as one would hope. The health of the Bills' defense is really the only thing stopping us. I'd put the Bills' current odds at roughly 20%.

He's a "glue guy." Every great team has and needs them. Has been a great addition.

He already owns multiple NFL records/firsts and seems to be creating new categories almost weekly. If Josh's career continues on its current trajectory he's a no-doubt first ballot HOFer. I don't need to see more to know that.

I just don't understand this mentality. Josh hasn't kept the Bills from getting to the Super Bowl, and he has arguably only played one "bad" playoff game in his career. In 20 career playoff games Bruce recorded 14.5 sacks, but there were several playoff games in which Bruce disappeared. Bruce had the benefit of playing on a roster with five other HOFers...that's why they got to Super Bowls. If you don't want to give it to him now, fine, but it's only a matter of time before it's not even questioned. Josh is the best Buffalo Bill of all-time.

Bruce Smith couldn't even knock a freaking football out of Jeff Hostetler's hand...he doesn't deserve the honor.

Are we supposed to be “up in arms” about this? Before the McD era, who did want to come to Buffalo? There were lots of stories about how players who didn’t want to come here then learned to love and embrace the city and fan base, but aside from just wanting to play in the NFL what player from a warm weather or big-city environment would have wanted to be drafted by the Bills? Much ado about nothing. P.S. As an aside, Goff is criminally underrated. He makes some ridiculously good throws and is tough as nails.

This is not a “critical” game for the Bills by any means (I think the loss in LA sufficiently scuttled realistic hopes for the 1 seed), but it is important for the defense to play better and have this be a competitive game. We’re getting a bunch of guys back (so are they) and I think the Bills will hold the Lions to 24 or less. If Josh plays like Josh, we win this one without having to sweat out an end-of-game scenario. Go Bills!

Why is college basketball “unwatchable” to you?

Your thoughts are shared by many Carolina fans; I’m not saying you’re wrong, just that a lot of us think differently. I’ve always dreamed of us being a legitimate football school as well. The times have changed and this is our chance to show we will compete and be one of those top schools.

A lot of ignorance in this thread. If Belichick can get the NIL money (currently UNC’s NIL budget for football is around 5M, it needs to be 5x that) there is no reason to think he can’t immediately make the Heels a perennial playoff contender. Kids will flock to be coached by one of the greatest and play at a beautiful university to boot. I don’t know whether the deal gets done but as an alum I’m behind it 100%.

I know these guys all want to be head coaches, but walking into that New Orleans situation just seems like a recipe for disaster. Horrible cap, no QB, and aging players. That said, there’s always somebody out there who thinks he has the answers.
