  1. But you have your own set of eyes, don't they see the best team in the NFL? i could see if maybe you were on the team or something like that, so if your eyes are telling you the Bills have been the best team in the league for over two months now, it is OK to say the Bills are #1, Baby! Though I'm sure MCBeane would say, and truthfully so, that all we are now is AFC East Champs, nothing more and they'd be right. Until we dethrone the champs and win it all, we're not the champs. But I still think it is true that the Bills have been the best team in the NFL over the last two months. The only team I thought could play with us was KC, but after what GB did to Tennessee I guess you have to add them to the list. That was a pretty impressive game. Did you see how GB moved the ball on Tennessee? I think we move it just as easy if not, easier. And that's why I'm not afraid of all the other teams. The Bills are a three-headed beast constantly coming at you with superb execution. We're likea machine. What's scares me the most is weather thatwould completely ground the passing game. We definitely could lose under such conditions.
  2. No one! No one is close to being as good as the Buffalo Bills.
  3. Did the fish defense allow the least number of points, score the most points or both? Bills 51 - colts 13.
  4. 30 years ago about, I got a gray champion sweet shirt with a large red Bills helmet cross-stitched across the front from my sister-in-law. I had a million compliments wearing that. Eventually, I got a chicken wing grease stain on it. I still have the helmet. I am hoping my wife will be kind enough to stitch that onto a new sweat-shirt some day.....maybe when she retires?
  5. I wish Brian Daboll all the best. He is one of us to the extreme. I think a team drafting a QB would be most interested in him. It looks like Burrows and Herbert are going to make it to franchise QB without Brian Daboll. If I were him, I'd be looking for another Buffalo. Owners interested in winning Super Bowl, willing to spend to cap, letting the GM do his job. The Jets job would be perfect if the jets found the right GM. I think the jets have a lot of picks coming up and have a high one as well. That's what you want Daboll for... I think the Bills could lose two other ranking employees to free agency. Joe Schoen, Brian Gaines And Maybe Leslie Frazier..... Schoen And Gaines would walk away with our draft board which ducks! We have Frazier's replacement in Eric Washington if need be.... Let me ask you all a better question. Who will be the next Buffalo Bills OC? I imagine it will be from one of the teams that fired their HC? Or maybe an assistant from another team? Anybody have any good guesses? McD was talking up Chad Hall last week but I doubt he is ready. Daboll Josh st understands play calling so we'll...... On the other hand, Brandon Beane got us three WRs that run their own offense and understand how to win the game on their own (it is just up to Allen to understand and play by the WRs Rules. A very simple path of least resistance plus extreme athleticism is our winning ticket. I think it is a bit hard on the QB, not certain which way the WRs are going .....I think that's why Allen tosses a ball or two to nowhere every game. This is so simple yet impossible to shut down really. Just gotta say when John Brown plays again, the Bills will be one of the better teams of the century and I think that eventual Bills-chefs game will be the game of the century. Both teams have: outstanding QBs, skill players, OLs, Defenses, And Special Teams. No other team in the league can play with either of us right now imho.... Our teams have it all..... I like the Bills in the rematch though. I think with John Brown, KC's defense, as good as it is, wont be able to stop us as Allen finds the one in single coverage and hits him. Davis and McKenzie perfect don't take your eyes off these guys players but every team does because of the pressure of Diggs, Smoke and Beasley. On the other hand, I think the Bills D can force a turnover and force some punts. Tre White being a solid blue chip player and Edmunds being everywhere now that our DL is playing so well.... Congrats to Vernon Butler and Ed Oliver who really found their games together and watch in the playoffs for McD to cut Ed Oliver and the whole DL loose to make plays in the playoffs. Jerry Hughes is STILL our best DL though and he'll prove it once again this January. Im just so excited to see these Buffalo Bills play anybody but especially the chefs who clearly are the second best team in the NFL don't let anybody tell you different.
  6. And Daryl Johnson (DE) as well..... Here's to them and all the Bills getting better each and every week.... Just an excellent all around game from our D tonight.
  7. You want a better prediction? Dawson gets gets a long pass for a TD and another long pass. two long passes completed to Dawson, tomorrow.
  8. Josh has also been setting single game records and ending bad Buffalo streaks..... the recent ending of our losing on MNF is just the most recent, there are quite a few I think. Each week we read about them post-game after wins.... It would be difficult finding all of them....
  9. I don't know what Jefferson is doing in Minny, but Diggs is the guy the Bills turn to when they need to get the W. Yes, Beasley too, but Diggs gets us so many important yards to key wins. Diggs and s a clutch difference maker that Josh Allen routinely relies on. Beane wanted to make certain Josh had what he needed to turn into a franchise QB and there is nothing wrong with doing everything you can to ensure your QBs development; it was the smart way to go. Dont take chances with your QB's development.
  10. Yes, I think it's very possible Allen falls apart if Daboll leaves this year. I think it likely he comes out cold next season no matter who replaces Daboll.
  11. The Bills will play three games between 12/7, Monday night 8:30 pm vs. SF, and 12/19 Saturday night 4:30pm vs. Denver. 3 games in < a 12 day span. It'll seem like they're on TV every other day almost! Yes! Can they win them all? We can't let the Stealers go 16-0 or even 15-1. If the freakin' Ravens can beat them next week, we have a shot at giving them two in a row, then maybe Cleveland beats them while they're reeling a bit.... Then maybe the Stealers path goes thru Buffalo? I admit I'm being a bit of a optimist.... Then they get a nine day break to get ready for NE 2. Then squish the fish 2 with a red-hot Josh Allen walking the Bills down the field repeatedly. Bif, boom, bah, second in the conference.
  12. Ideally, it's still too early to judge Beane. I think he was the 2017 mastermind and that draft looks pretty good. The other two are hazy but anytime you get a Josh Allen alone, that's a winning draft. Im hoping the rest of the 2018 draft and the 2019 draft kicks in before this season ends. Come on, Bills, come together.
  13. Let's call it good news. He could add some wrinkles. Go Bills!
  14. I think both, he and the Cleveland kid are too short to play from the pocket or at least to play as well as a guy like Josh Allen who stands over the pocket..... I think Allen has been making difficult plays look easy all season long.... Just not sure why he gets bogged down from time to time. He needs more weapons is my belief.... (somebody has to get open)
  15. I think when you rate a QB, you are really rating the QB, the OL, The receiver's, the coaches, everybody involved. Mahomes has the best of these things and therefore is the best.... The Bills O has these hiccups that I think are the result of a clunky run game, iffy TEs, and maybe a QB that can only learn so much at a time.... The plus side of Josh Allen is that his ceiling is probably the highest of them all and he appears to learn each and every week. However, it doesn't look like Beane can keep supplying him with more talent because it looks like Buffalo's current talent is already bogging down by either a lack of talent or a lack of developing talent or both. That is, we needed Edmunds and Oliver to be defensive stars and they are not. We also neededCody Ford to be a dominant player....
  16. Great teams historically are good at everything. There is a good reason for that. I think the Bills are basically mimicking the chefs but ever failing to copy the original. The chefs are good at everything. For whatever reason, so far, just about all our players are playing below expectations. Josh, the triplets, are hitting it although JB is hurt and it looks like he isn't going to be able play thru it, they are hitting their marks, but just about everyone else, for the most part, are not playing up to perceived expectations. If, somehow, the bye-week is kind and McD gets everyone to buy in 100%, if Harrison Hillips can come in now and be a rock solid one-tech when needed, if the OL can gel andFord can play anywhere near his draft status, the same on the other side of the line with Ed Oliver, if he can start to burst through the line reminiscent of Kyle Williams when called upon, if Tremaine Edmunds can come close to his draft status as an MLB, If all these things come together at once (along with our punter playing way better, geez!) we stand a 50/50 shot of beating the chefs in KC or Pitts in Pitts.... We need to be balanced, we need to lean on everything. We need defenses to have to worry about everything....etc....
  17. after the bye, I'm glad we have two winnable games to get ready for the Stealers and to get our lines right. With Morse and Ford coming back to the OL, maybe we can get some push or at least not be embarrassing. On D, I'm hoping Phillips is ready and Oliver steps up in the stretch run. I think our only hope is to get our lines playing a lot better than vs. Az. Plus, we get Milano back.... It sounds crazy maybe a little bit but maybe we hit the end of the season hitting on all cylinders. Fix the ground game and I think it helps Josh a lot....Although after the Phoenix game, it looks like the whole offense needs to be reworked . We need our TEs and secondary receivers and RBs back in the passing game as well.... Maybe I'm asking for too much but all of that is what we need to happen if we are to have any chance of being dangerous in the playoffs.
  18. It seems the Bills Like Ford best at guard even though he makes all kinds of mistakes. I think the Bills think Ford can eventually play through all the errors and then we would end up with a guard that can win his match up in the pass and especially the run. I don't know what was going on yesterday but the announcer felt the Bills should be able to run vs. the Cards beat up line and we went backwards instead. It was very disconcerting. Like, our line sucks at run blocking disconcerting.... We got beat so bad it was unbelievable to watch. If we can't fix that, we'll probably lose the division to the fish. I love Allen. I love Diggs. Nobody can watch Beasley one on one. If Smoke has his wheels we are deadly (but clearly he does not and it may require surgery). Davis and McKenzie seem to be capable of hurting opponents but only when Diggs, Smoke and Beasley draw to themselves. Knox is having a disastrous sophomore season. And this hurts are ability to show other dangerous looks. No TE, No run game, no Smoke, and our offense is just mediocre.... We probably need to get all three going to go anywhere in the playoffs. We get all three going and Daboll can really get defenses back on their toes, imho.... If we get both the best version of our O and our D and just as importantly our STs going we can play with anybody.... Can we? I have no idea....but our STs were just as important as any unit yesterday. We were winning with our STs with those long kicks but then Roberts not only mysteriously decided to go out of the endzone, he looked very slow in doing so.... Then Bojo Kicked a few bad punts and we are never there to keep the punt from going in the endzone in addition to the lousy punts.... They cost us all kinds of yardage.... Frustratingly, our best players played the Hail Mary all wrong in the end and you wonder why they didn't play it much better; much smarter.... back to the drawing board.... Go Bills!
  19. We definitely need speed and we definitely need to keep adding it. I like McKenzie a lot at #5, he's a Buffalo Bill. We have to love ok at getting younger there and keeping costs down but if we can sign him for vet min. I think half of his contract will no longer count against the cap (or, is he too young still?) and under those circumstances he would be a great signing..... But make no mistake, the Bills have to keep their passing game getting better and better.....that means speed and WRs.... To sum up: I think we'll have a lot of wholes along the roster and we would maybe be better off filling those other ones and keeping McKenzie... Just remember that JB's injury is one of the reasons JA minislumped....
  20. Let's Go Buffalo! Knock the door off it's hinges, that's the only way Buffalo is going to get anything....
  21. Just ten years ago, it seemed like that would never happen, thanks to the NFL, it seems like that is going to be a fairly common anomaly.
  22. I think we should run a 4- 1- 6. To really slow them down and earn it. Dean Marlowe looked like he belonged on the field vs. the pats all game long. Dean Marlowe is one of our better football players and he deserves another shot to prove it again. i wish we could field a better four. I wish we could rest Tremaine Edmunds for a month. From last Monday till after the bye. But our front four is what it is. Our MLB has no back up whatsoever..... Beane has had a horrible offseason missing on just about everything on his new defense. But we can get Marlowe and Hyde and Poyer on the field and those three however small they are can tackle and teach how to tackle. We can trust them. I mean, it seems like our only choice to me.... 4 - 1 - 6.
  23. Well, we'll see if we can beat seven back know that the other variables appear to be restored. Although JB I think is still FU..... I think it's interesting that the seahags are stout vs. the run. Do we just throw or try to do both so we can play keep away? Do we try an Offside K this week trying to steal a possession? Something like that has to happen I think. We definitely need STs to win. How are Seattle's STs? Ours are not playing that well particularly our punter on short to medium kicks I think...
