  1. Yes, It seems most fans don't realize Sanders is our #2.....
  2. If he is a FB, let's see some kick-ass blocks from him this summer! Yeeeooow! Go Bills!
  3. I think your predictions are indeed bold. I sure hope you're wrong about Ford, we need a great LG and I think Ford offers the most potential there as we zone-block I think we'd prefer a big, tough hombre there. I hope he stays, starts and prospers and Ford is a thing that helps us take another step towards beating KC. The other prediction however might portend to good news! We know McKenzie has talent and that the game is NOT too big for him. His problem comes when other WRs can't draw coverage away from him. He knows the offense and has learned a ton from Brian Daboll and our fine WRs coach. This makes him pretty valuable to us regardless of the shortcomings. If we were to have two young, unproven WRs good enough to knock McKenzie off the roster, that would indeed be very good news. They would have to be very talented to do so, imho. Daboll and the WR coach would have a lot of work cut out for them getting the young pups up to speed. But if they're both clearly better, it's worth it. For my predictions I'll go with Antonio Williams making the team and also playing on some weeks. He also becomes our short yardage specialist. As a small bonus prediction, I say the Bills decide to put C. Wade on the standard practice squad vs. the special one so we can call him up if needed. My second bold prediction is that we trade Moss (not Singletary). The reason is two-fold: Moss has more value and Singletary is the better back. I say we trade Moss for a fair third round choice (and that it will be higher than the third we used to pick Moss.) and a sixth as interest. So a third and a sixth. This will give Beane some ammo for the '22 draft if he really needs somebody (although I think he's learning to stay put or to usually I was Surprised no one offered McKenzie enough to make him want to change cities. The guy had 8 or 9 NFL TDs for cripe's sake! So I was happy we could retain a guy we spent a lot of time and effort into training how to do all these things. He had TDs three different ways! I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth and I'm going to happy we get him for another year. Things are going to go the way they always do. McKenzie will be the fifth, gradually losing snaps to Hodgins who will run totally different types of plays to give DCs nightmares. Stevenson is going to have a timely injury to land him on the IR where he is free of pouching. There, he will learn all the stuff McKenzie already knows (While McKenzie learns more!) and Stevenson is going to train, train, train that body to learn not get injured. It is tons of hard work and discipline and if he can do both. Learn while getting a lot stronger yet more flexible (the Bills way, thank you Pegulas) he can compete for a real job next year. He makes himself WAY more valuable to us that way. He makes himself way more valuable to other teams as well. trade down not up in a draft.) So our RB room will look like Singletary - Antonio Williams - Breida. With Wade on the PS ready to call up. Singletary - is your first down back ready to gain 5.1 yds./pop. A.W. - A Williams through and through. Bigger and better than Moss at being a Moss like back. He proves he can block in preseason. Breida - we're going to actually use Breida and Daboll knows exactly how to use the kid for big plays and making a defense very nervous. Breida has a comeback year of sorts. All three backs are used, all three stay fresh and healthy. (Though there will be weeks one back is not active). So, there you have it. Two and half predictions. All in the RB room.
  4. I'm not saying who is going to have the better record. I'm saying they are good teams.
  5. The Bills need to do three things: first we have to start Billieving we can beat the chefs. To me, it appears McD thinks he is not good enough. Number two we have to out-maneuver the chefs on the managerial front. Diggs, Sanders And Beasley are going to get old too; whichever team replaces their talent better should win. And three we have to catch up to the chefs. They are a slightly better team than we are now. We are very close though.... Imho, we are one Chris Jones away from the chefs. Give us Chris Jone and take him away from the Chefs and we should beat them, imho. Although we also need to overcome issue #1 in advance of that game. While Chris Jones is only one player he is a good one. And to have him go from the chefs to the Bills isreally like two players have been changed. But that is the difference between the two teams, imho. Now, that isn't to say we couldn't beat them this year. If Chris Jones gets hurt and Groot is as good as he looked at Miami two years ago were even that fast. Football is a lot more complicated than that but I do think we could beat them. Do I think it is going to happen in week five? No, probably not, but let's play the game anyway cause you know, that ball bounces weird and stuff. The Bills lost to the giants about 30 years ago and that one should have never happened but did so you have to play the game.
  6. While Allen vs. Diggs is definitely a chicken and egg question, the obvious answer is who cares?! We have both and for a long damn time. It clearly isn't just Diggs as Brown was awesome last year, Beasley two years and Davis one. And Sanders is going to rip it up as our #2 this year. The four of them (Diggs, Sanders, Beasley and Davis) are going to be electric with JA leading them behind our OL this year! Watch out for the Bills, baby! If we get Ertz we'd have a fifth weapon. Without Ertz, maybe Knox maturesthis year? Maybe other Bills step up more? I'm sure Daboll will makeHodgins a Star If Hodgins has the talent, Daboll will find a way to make him shine and put less wear and tear on the top four. We have to get to the playoffs with that top four! I think we even might be able to beat the chefs but our defense will have had to improve some from last year's playoff performance as well. It could happen with Star, Boogie and Groot added plus AJ hitting year two. But the chefs are good, man. We'll see in week five if McD has a plan or not. (He seemed to have no idea of how to play the chefs in our last two or three meetings. But with more skill comes more confidence..... I think McD has to stop idolizing the chefs coach tottart. Go Bills!
  7. As far as Cleveland goes you can argue about the rosters but it is close and the most important position is QB and I think the Bills have it; hands down. Not only that but we're the only team that has Stephon Diggs. This is another huge advantage. Cleveland's lines may be better than our but the important thing to know about Buffalo's OL is it is superb at protecting Allen. That's what counts as far as Buffalo goes. And while it is very important to have the lines, the Bills have better LBs and a better secondary to boot. Buffalo can stop even the Browns run game if it is the playoffs and Cleveland will be out of the run game soon anyhow when Allen scores TDs. Do not let Allen's playoff sort of slump fool you, Buffalo's important skill players were all injured, all of them! Even Brady stinks when you take away his skill against playoff caliber defenses. And Allen was missing his #2 most of last season, maybe the whole season it could be said as Brown was often just a decoy. Watch Allen if he gets to go fourwide this year with a healthy Diggs, Sanders, Beasley and Davis. We are definitely going to be electrifying. Better than last season; watch. Go Bills!
  8. Maybe Beane looked at everything very closely and thinks the Bills are not ready to dethrone the chefs? Our offseason certainly reflects that as the Bills while looking improved (Sanders vs. injured Smoke, and we added the whole draft w/o really losing anybody of value but our KR/PR.) still don't matchup vs. the chefs very well. I think perhaps Beane is looking to next season when our young defense will have more experience (Tremaine and Ed, but especially AJ, Groot, Basham And others while Jerry, Addison, and star come off the books.... Can Star, Groot And Basham really raise the level of our defense this year???!!! Can our talent remain healthy for the playoffs????!!! Diggs, Sanders, Beasley, Davis, McKenzie and the sixth? Do we sign Ertz giving us one more big chip? I hope yes, but I didn't look at the books closely for next season. Maybeif we don't sign him this year we can add a blue chip defender (a pass rusher) when one becomes available? Can Knox take a huge step? You gotta give him an attaboy for trying as hard as Allen does. Could Allen be even better than last year???? I think he can. Fine tune the line title things while gaining even more confidence in himself; becoming nearly unstoppable with the modern rules and his good teammates. These are the big questions for this year and some for next.... but think about next season with our OL still in tact, AJ, Groot and Boogie coming into their own. Another draft to draft. Star, Jerry and Addison coming off the books. That's a ton of cash.... Gotta replace Star but still. We need a DT, CB, for the D and maybe for the O a RB, and WR (probably). Maybe a star pass rusher still but maybe not? We have this whole very exciting year to play; I concede nothing to anybody. We have Josh Allen perhaps still on a upwards arc and no one does. But next season promises to be equally exciting. (I sure hope we drafted well!) Go Bills!
  9. Holy *****! SF is good, but sooooo many question marks. They're a clear notch below the Bills, imho. i have the Bills all alone at three as the third seed. i have the whole NFC West, GB, Baltimore, Tennessee, And Cleveland tied at the #4 seed. Why are the Bills alone at three? Josh Allen...... And! his whole offense....the line and the skill..... the pass blue Viking is superb and our skill room is top five in the NFL. and while we're not good at RB we are clearly not bad either......Mark my words.....The run game will be better in 2021. It will be more effective. Daboll is going to work it, work it, work it; fix it. Go Bills!
  10. LOL, I turned on the tv and espn 2 went on because of the nhl draft. F***ers had a top ten list with this Lou commentating after a girl read off the names. It went like this.... #4 Stephan Diggs......then nothing!!! Lou said nothing finally the girl said something very briefly and they went on.....LOL..... i still say the Bills are popular National If a fan poll were to be taken... favorite second team in the NFL.... i dont have one personally. I wanted to make it the rams but they're crazy and that injury to their RB was huge. Just a huge loss for them. I like the whole nfc west both as a fan and I think they're very good; all four teams. I loved SF's front four but they too are messed-up. They couldn't retain their DT, lost two to injury, who knows?but they're a defense comes first team and I love that. Seattle is OK and has Warner. AZ. is really exciting this year with the old guys. I think the Bills are a full notch ahead of these four teams but the whole NFC West is playoff caliber. i used to like the packers a bit because they're not owned, but I really don't like whiny, complaining, it's not my fault, rogers.
  11. Green Bay is old, stale, always on espn, and Aaron is a f***in' d***-head whiner. Buffalo is new, exciting and likable. F*** espn, NFL fans loves Buffalo. Josh Allen, baby! Go Bills!
  12. Jack Eichel. I gave ya a Check, but I'm hoping McD knows satires And is on top of this one......
  13. Did Daboll do that? I can't for sure remember? I agree with you if true. Our whole offense is Daboll taking the time to set chumps up, and break down defenses. Having said all that, all ourweapons we're injured last season and it is this season where we prepare to develop talent to keep on going plus get more healthy talent. Sanders will be a huge add for us as long as he stays healthy, he should be our clear #2. Beasley goes to three, both Diggs and Beasley's touches go down this year while Sanders and the guys at the bottom of the roster at skill positions touches go up.....Singletary, Moss whoever wins #3 RB, McKenzie was pretty good last year maybe he stays around the same or goes down because he is the KR/PR .... Hodgins or whoever wins #6 on the roster should play and help a lot as other players get banged up. Maybe our stupid TEs step it up this year? Can they block? Can they catch?
  14. I could see Josh improve in the little things and the biggest thing. The little things like he is trying to be more accurate on in routes this year and the big thing. I could see Josh becoming unstoppable with the game on the line. Need a TD? Josh has got you covered. He was pretty awesome last year but I can see him maturing into an unstoppable force.
  15. The Bills ranked #8 in Rick Gosselin's Special Teams Rankings for 2020 in the Dallas Morning News....So......we're pretty damn good. I would stilll like to be #1 though..... Imho, Roberts took at least six out that he had no right doing and Bojo is comically overrated because he is a horrible short punter and his shanks are very untimely. Go Bills!
  16. The Rams still have D. Henderson and there are backs on the FA market. If we had a back to trade that was a full notch better than Henderson they'd bite and make the trade, imho, but I don't know if Singletary is that guy? On the other hand, I fully expect Singletary to start for us and go back to his rookie yds./attempt # of 5.1. That is NFL awesome compared to anyone. We just to have to put the practice time, play design time into the run game to get Singletary back to that mark. Fans don't seem to appreciate how Devin gets ten yards plus So often. Maybe he makes it look too easy? Having said that!!! I don't think Devin is in Cam Akers class nor Fred Jackson's. He's good though.... we'll see how he does this year. As far as making third and short, I think that is more of a team deficiency although Fred would just make the one yard on his own all the time. Judging RBs is difficult.... Bottomline: no way anybody gives us more than we spent on Devin. And! If the Bills decide to spend big on a FA next year to get us a SB, it is going to be a defender. There is no doubt in my mind. The Bills will make certain Allen has weapons, but keep it in the middle of the road category as long as we have Diggs. We need Allen plus Diggs and a lot of moderate NFL talent. Allen and Diggs are major blue chippers. Sanders, Beasley, Davis are solid red chippers, we need to develop more red chippers: Knox, Singletary, Moss, in that order, McKenzie, Hodgins, etc.... Maybe the Bills will develop another Blue-chipper this year or later? Both Hodgins and the sixth rounder this year have some elite skills, you never know. Diggs was a fifth rounder..... Maybe Davis turns into a Fitzgerald this year? His comparable and Gabriel's idol. Who knows? He'd have to show those stellar hands again but a tad more consistently, that ability to break loose in coverage, and then toughness and blocking supremacy. Great teams draft great over time, We need our drafts to pick us up this year if we are going to win a SB. Particularly the defense where most of the high picks went. C'mon White, Milano, TJ, Tremaine, Ed O, AJ, Groot And Boogie!
  17. For one thing I think it is really hard for any of us to compare Tremaine to most other LBs as we don't see them that much. Having said that, while Edmunds appears irreplaceable to this defense right now, he also always shows shortcomings in taking on blocks or finding and getting the ball for us. I hope we can sign him for less as contracts like that make it hard to win SBs.... If you're Beane, how do you make a case that he is not worth that kind of money? We need to knock off a couple mill from that at least.... Why can't he just be a clone of Brian Urlacher and then we would happily pay top dollar. Make it clear, Tremaine!
  18. I don't think we are real quick to the ball at all. We take away the big play and keep the ball in front of us waiting for numbers, imho....While we get some negative plays, they're usually strung out or coverage sack negative plays. For better or worse, Tremaine Edmunds is the heart & soul of our defense imho.... I am not one of those fans that thinks he bad nor am I a big fan. What I like is his huge size which gives him the ability to make his tackles stick. Our safetiesare small and so is Milano so it's comforting to have a big guy downfield. He's super athletic as well. What I don't like is that I don't think I have ever seen him take on a block and win in his entire Bills career, that and he doesn't seem to have a nose for the ball. Like a lot of fans, I think he would have become a household name as a 3-4 OLB that often rushed the passer. I think our defense doesn't help him develop a nose for theball as he is asked to play very safe most of the time. He'd be better attacking not reacting, imho...Even though he still can't beat blockers....It doesn't seem like he even tries to beat a block often, he just goes with the lineman.... I admit I wanted a another Brian Urlacher after we traded up to get our two captains and that is not fair to Edmunds but Iabsolutely loved watching Urlacher play.... So good at everything all the time. If Tremaine could take a big step up (he definitely could use a more successful line!) this year, he would give us a chance vs. KC. Everybody thinks Mahomes is why they beat us but it clearly is KC's defense that separates us. Especially if our offense is healthy this year. With Allen, Diggs, Sanders, Beasley, Davis, Singletary and Knox all playing behind a healthy O-line, it might not matter that KC's defense is good. We might be able to just outscore them. Maybe we could win the ST battle? I think KC has excellent STs too though.... I still can't believe Tampa handled them like they did....
  19. Oh! I didn't know that..... Seeing on how he is a panther, he'll probably end up a Bill.....
  20. But he played with Star, not the same position I am told. I guess KS is a three-tech more than anything else. Can I get some confirmation on this? Ithink we need the bruising 1-tech more.....
  21. Still too worried about running out of weapons like we did last year. I also think Knox will always have, "ball" problems.... while I am positive the Bills D probably needs that blue-chipper along the D-line, I don't think KS is the guy. Give me Zach Ertz instead. Having said that, honestly, I really have no idea as to what KS can bring to this D? Even Kyle Williams disappeared playing in it. What about that???
  22. So Kwame is a 3-tech?! Should we sign him, what does it say about our starting 3-tech? Imho, the Bills need a beast in the middle. A big man like Deforest Buckner or Cam Heyward. I know, duh! Of course we need great defenders and those two are two of the best but I would love to see either one in a Bills uni. or Chris Jones.... He is double help for us taking him off thechefs and on to our team. I'd bet $500.00 even we would beat the chefs if we magically got Jones and they lost him. He is very good and whatwe need. C'mon AJ, Boogie and Groot! Show some special talents this fall. Flashes at least!
  23. It really is strange that we haven't yet brought in a vet for the LCB job. Even if they love the pair they have, you definitely need a third guy for camp. Not convinced at all Wildgoose is a good third option....
  24. If we do sign Short it has to be poor Harrison Phillips. Only DT left without guaranteed money..... Zimmer would be done as well. I have no idea if it would be wise or not to sign Short. Anybody watch him play a lot over the last three years? San Fran has a great one I wish was a Bill.
  25. Not to mention we are a SB favorite..... I gotta confess, I never watched him play.....On another thread, I just daydreamed that it was the Bills who got Deforest Buckner from the forty-niners..... Did Short ever resemble DB? What kind of player is he? Now and at his best? What position does he play exactly? Give me Deforest (or Chris Jones away from the chefs) and I will give you a Super Bowl trophy..... I'd take that DT on the stealers as well....or their end....Watt. I think either one puts us over the top. What can Short do for us? Anybody? Nah, I think his cash is guaranteed like Addison's, no ?
