  1. Those are the kinds of intangibles, among others, that the Bills FO and HC are gonna judge him on at seasons end... It was said that he may have been the most prepared QB available in last years QB draft class... He seems like he makes quick reads and gets rid of the ball quickly... With all the QB's that the Bills have passed on in recent years maybe they will have stumbled into something good for a change... At least now maybe we'll know what he might become with the right coaching and development...
  2. How many "points" does Peterson get for making the playoffs? What I am saying is I don't think you can measure his value just by arbitrary TDs/Ints stats... He is a "rookie" and is gonna make some mistakes... I wanna see how much he grows between now and the end of the season... Will he put in the necessary time in the film room? How "coachable" is he? Let's see what he has got under the hood, you know?
  3. What's important at this point is that the Bills get a good "read" on Peterman... I don't expect him to set the world on fire immediately... He is a "rookie"... Let's not forget that and let's not forget that the OL is in a state of flux as well... And as I have stated several times here as well dating back to the preseason is that this is a "rebuild"... Some people here argued with me about that... Let's just take the rest of this season as it comes and hope to see the team and Peterman in particular progress from week to week... We still have a big decision to make in the offseason as to how high we should go to draft another QB... Even if Peterman shocks us and plays lights out football the rest of the way we still need to draft another QB at some point in the next draft... And I do wish TT the best wherever he ends up next season... He seems like an overall good guy and team player... There is a big difference between being a so called "hater" and simply concluding by observation that TT isn't good enough to be the starting QB on a playoff calibre team...
  4. You simply cut him. You waste some dead cap space but overall save approx $9.6 million by doing so. You draft a kid with that #1 pick and/or trade up even higher with a combination of picks. A healthy chunk of the money you save goes right to the new kids contract. I dont see TT starting anywhere next year. As a backup he may make $5 million tops - I highly doubt anyone would match the Bills current contract with TT...
  5. The Fat Lady (no offense intended) is warming up though...
  6. So if we only win like one more game and finish at 6-10 where do you think we might draft? Top 12?
  7. The same thing could be said about Tyrod.... He looks good now and then until you watch him closely for any extended amount of time...
  8. Hope I'm wrong, BUT... Just been there too many times before... Dress warmly if you are going to the game... This is good football weather for a game if it doesn't rain... Like I said though, Hope I am wrong about the outcome...
  9. Why dont we all just let the season play out some more before we decide the question... Will TT get this team to the playoffs? Or not...

Be honest here...
  11. The truth is that this team is winning games it would normally lose because the defense is playing out of their minds great football and the injuries that are seemingly inevitable at some point haven't hit yet... And I am as happy as anybody for what some have called winning boring football games - for a change! Right now Micah Hyde is having a Pro Bowl - Defensive MVP - All Pro(?) season and the rest of the secondary have jelled unusually quickly. More quickly than most would have banked on, before the season began. I always liked Leslie Frazier as a Defensive Coordinator and kudos to Gil Byrd the Defensive Secondary Coach... Since this part of my original post hasn't seemingly been mentioned i thought I'd mention it a second time... Would we be winning these games with much less than the stellar performance of the defense we've seen thus far?
  12. I think we have to keep in mind that he is in his 6th year and if he has bad feet/knees/legs they generally dont get better with age. There were questions about his size when he was drafted as I recall. Some said he projected better as a guard than as a tackle. I trust whatever the Bills do here in this situation. We fans have no access to the medical reports so it is hard to judge his situation. A second rounder might be the asking price. You dont get a 1st rounder for a 6th year player with not so sound wheels... We shall see...
  13. I think you left out / glossed over / failed to mention --- 165 yds passing... The odds are highly against winning too many more games with that kind of performance... 14. If I read Spotrac correctly the Bills now have $12,679,294 in 2017 cap space available and are projected to have $29,602,348 in 2018 cap space available. So if the Bills rolled over this years remaining cap space into next season they'd have a total of $42,281,642 available for 2018. 15. Glenn is a 6th year player with bad feet/legs and a hefty salary... Getting rid of him is absolutely the right move to make... Maybe for a 2nd or 3rd rd pick?
  16. He's a rookie... Eric Moulds was pretty awful his 1st 2 seasons too and he turned out OK... Marv Levy never used to let rookies play much... He always said that "the best thing about rookies is after their 1st season they become vets"... Give the kid time to adjust to the pro game...
  17. Cordy was/is a Nix/Whaley guy who has bad feet and a rather sizeable contract - not too hard to figure that one out... Miller was a Whaley guy too...
  18. Which people are you feeling sorry for - The Nazi's, The Fascists? or The KKK? Didn't our soldiers give their lives to kicking the Nazi's and Fascist's a$$es? Wasn't/Isn't the KKK a domestic terrorist organization? So which one of these groups do you want American Citizens to support? As far as NFL players are concerned, since the NFL does NOT require the players to stand at attention they are not breaking any of the NFL's rules, so there is no issue there... And you don't have to watch if you are SO offended... Go Bills...
  19. On a lighter note perhaps it's time for the NFL to defuse the entire issue by playing something else other than the National Anthem at the start of their games... I'd go for the Sunday Night Football theme... Especially Faith Hill's versions...
  20. Go read post #48 and see if you can figure out the correlation...
  21. And by the end of this season the Bills may well have beaten the Jets twice and the Colts once as well.... That still doesn't lead me to believe that either the Bills or the Rams are going to make the playoffs this year....
