Per Spotrac... Dareus "Dead Cap" 2017 = $38.6 Million, 2018 = $22.2 Million, 2019 = $7.8 Million I don't think Dareus is going anywhere for the next 2 seasons (2017-18) The amount of "Dead Cap" space the Bills would have to eat, make it pretty much a certainty that Dareus remains on the team these next 2 years.

Seriously. Just explain to me why you think that Garappolo, if he does become a FA, would choose to sign with the Bills? What makes you think that? (besides wishful thinking) I'm dead serious about this and mean you no disrespect here. The simple point I am trying to make here is that if he does indeed become a FA he will have HIS PICK of any NFL city that he wants. (and that is of course willing to pay him top dollar) Just as one possible landing spot would potentially be Jacksonville for instance. No state income tax there. Cleveland has seemed very interested in him already. San Francisco perhaps? What does Buffalo have to offer this guy that these other cities do not? And there are quite a few other NFL cities that may be all over him as well. (like maybe every single team that does NOT make the playoffs this year perhaps?)

Split with the Jets, swept by Miami and New Eng... 1-5 AFCE...

I was watching the game with friends at one of their apts. Obviously disappointed that he missed the kick. The only bright spot was when I went to work the following day and found out that by missing the kick I ended up winning a fairly lucrative (very) office pool! I had no idea at the time he missed the kick as I had forgotten to take the sheet with me. At least it was a very nice consolation prize...

Wouldn't surprise me abit either way... It is one last payday for him so financially it's a good decision to play but if he is not "feeling up to it" and if he is good financially then I could see him say Bye...

Tyrod's concussion gives the coaches the "cover" to start Peterman if they wish... I'd really like to know what they say in their coaches meetings about TT vs Peterman... I'm ok with whomever they decide to start... But if the coaches like what they are seeing from Peterman and think he can handle it, I'd go for it... Personally, I could see this team losing more games this season with TT the starter as opposed to if Peterman were the starter... At least Peterman "looks like" a real QB...

I never saw anything in CK to make me feel that he would be a valuable member of the OL... I'm not so sure that he is better than any of the other OL.(with the lone exception of Ducasse) Leaving his "extracurricular activities" out of the discussion entirely, I'm not sure the Bills have any interest in him as the blocking scheme has changed this year.

Why would the Bills have any interest in keeping Taylor beyond this season (even assuming he was willing to take a massive pay cut) when Peterman will presumably have a year under his belt and should be ready to assume the #2 role??

I've said it before and will say it again. assuming the Bills draft a QB early in the 1st rd next year this GM/HC will get another 3 years to develop their QB... Peterman looks like he at least may be a capable backup at the position... We are watching the beginning of a classic rebuild here whether the FO wants to admit it or not... No pain - No gain....

Miami doesn't appear to me to be "sucking"... And I wouldn't be surprised if we "split" with the jets....

Hey! It's standard procedure for a new GM and HC to want "their" guys... It's a lot easier to get rid of someone you didn't draft... Especially one that doesn't fit with your scheme...

Pre-season football is usually more undisciplined... And if you noticed Baltimore had a ton more penalties than we did as well... It's the nature of the beast... But the Bills are gonna suck this year... The only question is how badly? Are the Bills really any better than the NYJ? I'm not convinced of that, no matter who is playing QB. Cleveland may have found their QB of the future... I could see the Bills falling into the bottom three...

TT, Yates and Peterman = 3 QB's who suck at the moment... But at least Peterman appears to have some upside the other two obviously do not... And on a totally unrelated topic... WTF is Ducasse even on the roster???

Miami with Cutler is good enough to challenge for a wild card berth... Injuries will tell the story there... We could easily lose both games to the Phins...

Really? If Glenn doesn't recover from his foot problems quickly and stay that way throughout the season our OL is gonna suck bigtime... We have a brand new secondary with a rookie CB back there... We have a TE with a bum knee... And with the possible exception of Matthews, our WR corp could be downright awful (Zay Jones is still a rookie remember)... I'd hardly call that "having pretty much everything... Oh, and don't forget a HC who is a rookie as well... Yeah, Right...

Marino may have had more talent than Kelly. Kelly had the better team around him. Can you say "BRUCE"!

Greg Gabriel seems to have a pretty good handle on the situation re: TT and suggests that given time to develop, Peterman could grow into a starting NFL QB. Although I am no expert on QB's by any means, he seems to agree that Peterman should be given a chance to show what he has. I am not saying he should start the season at QB, nor am I saying he should be put in after the Bills bye week either. But if TT isn't traded, once it becomes clear that the playoffs are out of reach (which should be quite early I would think) the Bills should give Peterman a chance to see what he can do.

If the Bills wanna "Tank" trade Shady and TT then name Yates their starter.... If they are gonna Tank do it right!

Is Jacksonville a possible landing spot for TT? Seems like Bortles is out of favor.

The side benefit to trading Shady to Tampa Bay is that we play them this year and probrably guarantees that the Bills lose that game....

As a matter of FACT, I most certainly have. I saw my 1st game at the Old Rockpile, so you need not bring up this teams putrid history to me. I have seen it all. I was at "The Stadium in Orchard Park" when it first opened. I still have that ceremonial fake coin they distributed to us all at that 1st game. So what's your point??? 2-14 sounds like a good record for the Bills this season. Good as in giving the Bills a good shot at one of those young QB's we hear so much about. I'd be very happy to see that happen. Much better than 6-10 or 7-9....

When you haven't made the playoffs in 17 years why not try something new like "Tanking"??? You mean things could get worse???
