  1. Zay did stink but Tyrod didn't help. There were times when Zay was blatantly open and Tyrod doesn't throw the ball. You'll see a lot of times a QB will go right back to the same receiver that dropped a ball on the next play. It's that type of stuff that Tyrod doesn't help young WR's develop. Receivers don't grow with Tyrod - that's my point.
  2. That's about what it would take - maybe even a little more. This is where I'm at in terms of what it would take to get to #2. I don't think people are realizing how the 21st and 22nd pick aren't as valuable as they think.
  3. There is no way you're moving from 21 to the top 5 with that offer.
  4. There is a zero percent chance you're getting the 2nd overall pick for what you've proposed.
  5. This is one of the major reasons to not like Taylor as your teams QB. He's a development killer.
  6. Is it less ironic that people that never played football ever analyze draft values and success of college players - or an ex player that has never formally evaluated or scouted high school and/or college players? He's at least more qualified than them.
  7. Why is this a new thread topic?
  8. Tyrod isn't a bridge QB though and you certainly don't want any young QB to be groomed by him. That's not his game. He's a tough athletic freak that figures out a way to play NFL QB despite having little idea how to technically play the position. WR's, TE's and O lineman don't learn how to play their position better when he's under center.
  9. Tyrod isn't trash overall but he's among the leagues worst passers. He's a quandary because with being one of the worst pre-snap and anticipation QB's in the league he can sometimes overcome that and play NFL QB. He has figured out a way to make his backyard play at times be good enough to win NFL games. Quite amazing actually. He also, IMO, has absolutely no trade value. He's a guy that will be picked up after getting cut when the first tear of options choose their destination. He'll be brought in by a team that if their guy gets hurt - they wouldn't mind trying to salvage a season with him. He's not going to teach or mentor anyone and with how bad he is in the pocket he's not a stop gap - he creates confusion on offense. He makes it difficult to evaluate your offensive line and can't help develop WR's and TE's while a young QB gets ready.
  10. They've already proven you're wrong. This group ain't screwing around.
  11. He was the best QB in college this year. The best QB in the draft is obviously something entirely different and completely subjective.
  12. Absolutely no one knows. I do believe they will address the QB situation in a serious way - meaning either aggressively in the draft or Cousins. I just don't see them doing the, meh thing?
  13. As he was sliding, I sure wanted us to pick him. Shows what I know.
  14. or ever will want to.
  15. What's your evidence? We are constantly changing.
  16. He and Rosen talked and now he doesn't want to come here either.
  17. When you have pick 21 and 22 all these QB's are worthy of a trade up because they're not going to be there at your slot. Offers would vary depending on where you project needing to be to get each one but they all have consideration for trading for. I hope the Bills pick one they like and do every single thing they can to go get him.
  18. Good post and good on your son to find him and say hello. Very cool Beane's walking around clothes are Buffalo Bills apparel.
  19. You're missing it. He has no business looking up the middle then back to the right. His first look should be to the right, there's no one to look off. You stare that down and let your NFL receiver take someone one on one. Our guy does. This idiot is looking towards the middle - for no apparent reason, then looks back to the right and by then the receiver has made it all the way to the safety that started out left of the left hash mark. Total blown play by a man having no idea what he's doing. Go the the :49 second mark, he looks right for less than a second and swings his head to the middle at :50 - why???????
  20. Jones is wide open. He's not even looking at the routes. He stares up the middle hoping he'll see someone once the smoke clears - that's because it all looks confusing to him when this is a simple - ok if the LB takes once step forward, gotcha. He cannot do this. I think he's so athletic that he pretends he's looking safeties off, etc, when it's really he has absolutely no clue what he's supposed to be seeing. He'll make some crazy play out of nothing and everyone will blame the receivers and/or the offensive line. He's bad folks, real bad. These are elementary NFL reads and he's taking sacks. He's a dunce as a QB. How can this not be seen? TT haters? I don't think so. He's a nice guy that has no business playing NFL QB. These guys are getting open. He's going into his drop not knowing what in the hell he's supposed to be looking for. What he does at 1:24 looking right at the play that should be developing then look away to the left to the covered receiver is egregious. That's not being conservative or taking care of the ball or any of the other crazy excuses we assign to TT.
  21. This is exactly what's wrong with TT and it's not just this hand picked play - this is consistently what he misses. He's not even really understanding pre-snap what's happening. Single high safety left of the left hash mark so the one on one to his right is the pre-snap read. Tyrod snaps the ball, doesn't look to the right and almost appears to be looking off the safety by starring straight ahead when the safety is already not in position. What is he doing? Then if the right wide out doesn't get open (although he does) the check down is obviously the comeback route - guys wide open and he doesn't throw it. He's not a passer. This example right here is novice stuff - it gets way more complicated where the reads require a lot more discipline and knowledge. This is stuff kids learn in High School.
