  1. I'm tired of people calling McDermott a dummy. He went to William & Mary!!! Most posters here couldn't even get into that school. He might not be a Brad Smith in the thinking department but McD is sharp enough to be a head coach in this league
  2. I thought he'd fight a few more times but I'm not that surprised. He had a great run but I don't think he can beat Khabib even if he focuses on fighting and fitness and frees himself from the distractions. He leaves as the most successful MMA fighter of all time. Its not the guy with the most wins its the guy with the most $$$. Why get your skull beat in when you've been able to create and monetize your own brand?
  3. Sobotka just got added to the team Canada roster and McDavid was sent down to the World Junior team after a bad shift in the second period of Saturday's game vs. the Senators. Botterill is pulling out all the stops! Its win or bust for team Canada!!! Hold on to your *****!!!!!
  4. The homely citizens of Picksburgh couldn't give a steamy Primanti Bros (somehow pronounced "perrrrmannnyyyy") sized ***** about the Buffalo Bills or their fans. A Baltimore jersey might catch you some flack-o, a Cleveland shirt may draw a hard open mouthed stare, and a Bengals hat might elicit a smug meth-eating grin, but a Buffalo jersey won't do a thing. I walked all over that city wearing Bills gear. No one noticed.
  5. I have never listened to 93.7 PGH but I'm guessing its duo and one of them is an animal and other the one is a wild and crazy guy. Like Hawkman and the Chicken F@#$er on the morning Asylum. Am I close?
  6. STOP EVERYTHING!!! Someone, somewhere, said something critical of a historically bad football team and I'm fricken ready to explode. They are 415 - 477 all time with 8 ties. Some people call ties "kissing your sister" but if you ever saw my sister you'd know why I consider that a win (she's a solid 7 on a BAD day). That's a 0.47 winning percentage!! That's basically 0.500 which is average. Since when is average terrible?!?!? Never, that's when. Its soooo easy to say that they've never won a championship in the NFL era. But people leave out that they got there 4 times. Its like my buddy Pinto: everybody busts his balls cause he passed out in his own puke during the opener for Loverboy on the Lovin' Every Minute of It tour '85 at the Meadowlands. That show kicked A$$, and he was THERE!! So what he was in a grade 2 coma, where the f@#% were you?!?!?
  7. Remember this phrase: "Am I being detained?!?! I know my rights!!"
  8. Each one better than the last. Whats even more remarkable than his thread starting prowess is that each one of his fleeting brain farts somehow has NOT been covered or simply cannot fit in to an existing thread. The chances are astronomically low but its true. Every one of Tipster's half thoughts and slight changes of mind is unique, profoundly important, and worthy of its own thread.
  9. Tim should've taken Leonidis' sage advice and told all his colleagues at ESPN to STFU then none of this would have ever happened.
  10. I don't think Rodak has been particularly insightful on his Bills coverage, but hes an ESPN AFCE beat guy. When the Bills are relevant again in the division maybe he'll catch up. I don't read his stuff. Most of the Rodak media I digest is Rodak diatribes on TBD, reddit, and twitter. Can we talk about how dumb Bills reddit is?
  11. It was a long slow burn. From the time I knew what football was, the Bills were dominant and then AFC champs and went to consecutive super bowls from age 5 or 6 to age 10. I was pretty sure Buffalo was one of the biggest cities in the world and a football powerhouse. I assumed they would go back to the show year in year out until they eventually won a few. I grew up, realized that we are a small market team, the success of those Bills teams during my youth was a something special, and the cards were stacked against us. I had a young boss who was a Bills fanatic who introduced me to TBD in my early twenties. It was here that I went from a casual practice of fandom to a radicalized interpretation of Billslam. Now I know that the whole world must accept the Chroisen One as their personal savior or burn.
  12. I always wear Bills gear when I'm traveling. Pretty sure I got "randomly" selected to go through the 6 levels of O'Hare security this past weekend because of my Bills hoodie. Either that or the vomit on my shoes set off the metal detector and bomb scan.
  13. His shifts are too long. Lots of circling around. I am often yelling at the TV "stops and starts, Jack!". He reminds me of Ovechkin with how awesome he can be when hes moving and also how passive he can play without the puck. Electric or invisible. Skinner never stops moving, never stops applying pressure, forces turnovers.
  14. I think it will be great for Shady and Ivory to have a veteran presence in the RB room. Especially a future hall of famer who guide them and be a role model.
  15. I say bring him in for a tryout. Hes 2-1 in the playoffs!!
  16. Is Poleshifter a PC term for a stripper?
  17. You keep pushing this argument about who has gone to the playoffs and your facts are totally wrong. Done? You shouldn't have even started.
  18. I'm not saying I agree with it, but I did hear it.
  19. Several. More than Bob Foster, Zay Jones, Cole Beasely, and John Brown combined.
  20. Julius Peppers is an over the hill DE who retired a month ago. I'd still take him over Gibril (gerbil ?) Peppers who is a bum.
  21. I heard that you're a crap person who calls people baked goods.
  22. Using Bills fan logic, I'd argue Gettleman had no other choice. The Giants were in cap hell and the only way to get out of it was by maximizing 2019 dead money.
  23. I wouldn't say the offense is fixed. Spayed, perhaps, but NOT fixed.
