Any “unique” sandwich ingredient combinations?
Jauronimo replied to NoHuddleKelly12's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Its ok. It used to be my go to as a kid but I prefer mayo. I like it in the dressing for a classic spinach salad or in potato/mac salads. -

That's not too dissimilar from my go to at DiBellas. Godfather, lettuce, tomato, onion, hot peppers, pickles, provolone, dressed with mayo, spicy mustard, and herb oil. Nothing weird about that. -
Newton can't throw more than 7 yards. He looks hurt.

Its not even really a baseball town. Its a "Yankees Suck" town first and foremost. Its a Sox town by a distant second. Its even more distantly a Jeter Blows town. The Pats might be 6th on the Boston sports hierarchy. I always knew this was coming but I figured it would take a playoff miss or even a sub .500 season. Two consecutive regular season losses?? Really? That's fair weather even for Pats fans. -

I love both of those things but that combination sounds revolting. -
What is also known is that he was suspended for failing to report. This is a rarity. Whether he's out drinking with his friends or sitting around watching reruns of Golden Girls the damage to his professional reputation is the same. I properly qualified and disclaimed my rumor as such. You're quite touchy on this subject.

I thought Barkley played great against the Jets and NO one is happier than me that hes jumping up and down on the sidelines but lets not forget about his body of work in the NFL. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/B/BarkMa00.htm

Matt Barkley isn't any of those things.

Heard an interesting tidbit the other day from a friend who has a friend who knows a girl that is "acquainted" with Berglund. Take it with a grain of salt, but the word is Berglund had friends visiting from Sweden so he played sick to go out and drink with them. Girl says hes an alcoholic and is in denial about his drinking problem. My friend said "he is cleaning up on Chippewa." I thought it was funny. Thought I'd share.

So you're saying we should crack each others skulls open and feast on the goo inside?!?!? Hows that going to help my short game?

Brady and Belichick Deserve to Go Out On Top

How do we know you're not an undercover Pats fan trying to contaminate our precious bodily fluids? You accidentally tipped your hand an exposed your location, Mainiac. -

Brady is 3rd all time for wins in Buffalo. The only 2 QBs ahead of him are on the wall. I like his chances. -
TBD Best Tailgate food before home games.

There are no health risks. Citric acid will break down muscle tissue in the meat. It doesn't "cook" so much as it cures. At a certain point, like 5 days to a week, the texture of the end product will not be very appealing as the meat will be too tenderized. I wouldn't wet marinade a ribeye for these reasons as texture and getting that perfect crust is a big part of the experience. But chicken thighs, pork shoulder, cheap cuts, definitely improve from an overnight or 48 hour bath in my opinion. I don't even notice the marinade if under 12 hours. -
An interesting document on the Niagara River
Jauronimo replied to Greybeard's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Per my research, the river is too high to ford in March. You can caulk the wagon but you stand about a 60% chance of capsizing and losing half your clothes. -
Hes a great talent for sure and I love that hes scoring but he can't keep doing that *****. Last night at least 2 or 3 times he tried to stick handle into the zone, got stripped, Kings turn the other way. Another time he had a clean entry but made a lazy pass to Reinhart on the right wing which was picked off by the back checking winger. More zip and its a dangerous attack. Mind bogglingly he skated a puck out from the offensive corner to the point and then got pushed off the puck at the blue line. Fast break going the other way.

Those three are also generating a number of chances for the opponent. Eichel turning the puck over 3 steps over the offensive blue line is inexcusable. I counted at least 4 times where he gifted the Kings a clean break out and a nice chance on the counter attack. Risto turned the puck over with a garbage pass from point to point on what should have been the first goal for the Kings. A minute later Eichel turns the puck over entering the zone, Dahlin tries to declare a fair catch and its 1-0 Kings. Dahlin should be paired with a true stay at home Defenseman like Bogo. I like his offense but he turns the puck over in bad spots.

If I was a college kid in Buffalo I'd probably do it just for the story. -

No one is being taken advantage of in this scenario. A bunch of Buffalonians have the opportunity to pocket some extra cash AND go to a Bills game against a divisional opponent. For a lot of the volunteers, Bills games aren't in the budget.
