    Has anyone else noticed how well the PK is doing since they added Johnson and Greenway to it? Last season they were one of the worst penalty killing teams in the league and now they're top 5. Small sample size of course but they pass the eye test so far.

    That was one ugly game. Levi looked mortal, was fighting the puck all night. Tuch must still be hurt from preseason or something, he looks terrible. Entire team was disjointed, very hard to watch.

McD has proven that if you give him a superstar QB and a top-5 roster he can get you out of the Divisional round.     I mean, 9-8 is going to get you in the playoffs. The AFC is the tougher conference but there's still a lot of bottom feeders. What happens in January has been the real question this entire offseason.

    Likely because signing premium position players to cost-effective rookie contracts is highly preferable to spending 5 times as much on the FA market. Also if you aren't shopping for a QB, many GMs go BPA. Carter isn't even making half of Miller's GTD money. Different worlds.
