  1. Spending money just because you have it is not shrewd. It's less about the money and more about throwing away a high 2nd round pick. This is going on a tangent. My original point was that, yes, it is completely fair to judge a GM on his two largest contracts. Of course, but if that's the true reason for these moves it's a disaster in the making.
  2. There are holes all over that team. There was absolutely no urgency or need to spend that money in November. Cap space can dry up real quick in free agency.
  3. Unfair to judge Poles on the two biggest contracts of his career? If your GM spends $170M on two players I'd say that's fair game for criticism.
  4. Yes. This is insanity. They pretty much just threw away a 2nd round pick. And based on their team, it's going to be a very high 2nd round pick. What a disaster.
  5. They got their asses kicked by the Flyers for 6 straight periods. Miracle that they got 2 points out of that home and home.
  6. playcalling on the previous drive killed them
  7. uBlock Origin still working like a charm on desktop. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/ublock-origin/cjpalhdlnbpafiamejdnhcphjbkeiagm
  8. Yeah the Eagles brought him and Suh in because Davis wasn't getting it done last year.
  9. That's probably realistic. He averaged about 19 snaps for Philly last year.
  10. Yeah they can't keep taking entire periods off like that. Outshot 40-14 lol. That's an ugly win but hey it's 2 points.
  11. He even predicted that. Matthew Perry once said his death would 'shock' but not 'surprise' people.
  12. Absolute madness. McDaniels hasn't earned anything past the standard boilerplate contract for new coaches (3-4 years). You would think Davis would learn after the Gruden debacle.
  13. We did. His name is Von Miller.
  14. It has almost nothing to do with "narrative." After stats the 2nd biggest correlating factor is team regular season win-loss record (voting happens before the playoffs). The last 6 MVPs were QBs that led their team to the #1 seed and home-field advantage. You might not, but every sportsbook in the country would. Be careful, these books make a fortune off hometown fans that overrate their team/players and think they see value where none exists. We haven't been playing well against mediocre opponents, the schedule gets tougher, and the weather is going to get a lot worse.
  15. Yeah you can't bet on individual futures in NY, only team futures like Superbowl winner, division winners, best record etc.
  16. If he plays great next week on the road in Cinci in primetime and wins in front of the whole country, then sure it will change. If he plays poorly and the Bills lose then he's probably in an insurmountable hole. If you're feeling lucky he's +1500 on Caesars.
  17. Patrick Mahomes +270 Jalen Hurts +350 Tua Tagovailoa +370 Lamar Jackson +600 Josh Allen +1400 I mean, he's in a wayyyy distant 5th. He's not going to score votes outside of his own fanbase by beating the Raiders, Giants, and Bucs.
  18. This was the real blunder. Thibodeaux went from hero to goat real quick.
  19. Ton of sharp money coming in on the Bills a few lines at -10 now
  20. I'd say the odds of him ending up on the Bills are a lot better than him making it through the season. He's a 29-yr old power back with some rough miles on him. Those 300+ touch seasons take their toll.
  21. You wanna talk bad parking?
