  1. Have you factored in his laziness or his attitude? Do you know how to beat cancer before it spreads? Early detection. From everything I read, they spent the entire offseason trying to unload this guy. His market value is clearly a 6th round pick. 2014 Dareus ain't comin' back.
  2. We're not going to be paying a 6th round pick 8 figures either. You don't pay a guy that money to soak up blockers like a 0-tech NT and come off the field for 50% of the plays.
  3. Their D is already on a pace to set an NFL record for sacks, if they can get him to play....yikes.
  4. Surprised, I thought we'd have to give a pick away to get rid of that hideous contract. One pick earlier and we could have had a HOF pass rusher too
  5. Released. I'll guess Oakland.
  6. I wonder if the Watkins fans even realize they are now in their 4th year of making excuses for the guy? Time flies when you are cherrypicking stats and pointing blame, huh?
  7. We've seen the cards before the season started. Well, some have.
  8. Nothing shocking or surprising here, just an idiot videotaping himself......WTF A POSITION COACH IS GETTING $3M A YEAR?!?? The Dolphins FO needs drug testing.
  9. He hasn't gotten rid of any quality players without replacing them. Try again.
  10. The only thing this says is that W/L record is a team stat. Brees has proven that he can win a Lombardi if you give him a competent defense. There is no comparison between the two quarterbacks. This thread brings a lot of comedic potential, because you know someone is going to create a "I wonder where the professional TT lovers are now?" thread the next time he puts up a stinker.
  11. Beating the 1-3 Bengals is more impressive than beating a team that went to the SB last year? Yeah, not buying that.
  12. The Chiefs of recent years are probably the best analogue. They showcase a defense that isn't exactly loaded with star talent, but rather focuses on scheme and execution (they run a lot more dime and nickel than a typical 3-4). They run a low-risk offense that's based around the run where the priority is not making mistakes and not turning the ball over. That's what we've seen so far from our team this year.
  13. I think you need certification first.

  15. But you are saying that. If you are going to judge Tyrod as a passer based on his QB rating then you have to be prepared to say that he's a better passer than Jim Kelly or Dan Marino (TT's career QB rating is better than both!) Remember the "No Punt" game back in 1992 against the 49ers? Kelly threw for over 400 yards and 3 TDs. He also had a 126 QB rating that game. Would anyone argue that TT had a better passing performance yesterday? I would hope not. But through the lens of QB ratings those two games are equal. See how silly this gets?
  16. I thought it was obvious -- to highlight the folly of trying to represent a QB's play with a single number. TT had a very good game yesterday.
  17. Well I'm sold. He's clearly a better passer than Dan Marino.
  18. "Execution over athleticism" is a good way to describe it. This doesn't mean we don't want playmakers, it simply means the primary focus is on execution.
  19. Based on what? His 3.5 YPC or his 1 fumble every 14 carries? Just stop.
  20. Pretty much every person crying about tanking this season. Let's just thank God Denver didn't unleash Jonathan Williams on us. Such talent we got rid of!
  21. Boy, one game really triggered Watkins' Whiners.
  22. Matthews' agent had to be fuming when the trade went down. It's going to knock a few mil off his next deal.
  23. Ansah looks healthy this year.
