  1. They would have given those 80's Mets teams a run for their money. The Cowboys of the early 90's were criticized as party animals, but even they couldn't believe how hard the Bills went. Speaking of Jim, this book just came out, give the excerpt a read: Book excerpt: For USFL's Houston Gamblers, high times on and off the field
  2. In the past year the team ditched all of it's overpriced baggage, including the QB, and decided to eat a massive amount of dead money rather than kick that feces filled can down the road. It's like hanging a huge neon sign over the stadium that flashes "Rebuild." Now I'm going to be blunt here -- If after a year and a half you still don't understand that "The Process" is just a marketing term for a rebuild, you are an abject fool. Rebuilds don't sell season tickets.
  3. They call that the "It's Time For The CFL" trifecta.
  4. It's more apt to think of Gruden as partial owner rather than a coach. That's the amount of security he has with the franchise's investment in him.
  5. And you know this how already?
  6. You are correct, I had the wrong LB. https://www.wkbw.com/sports/bills/the-ryan-brothers-believe-bills-lb-preston-brown-will-be-a-star
  7. No, that was Rob Ryan.
  8. Their D was on the field a lot last game getting blown out 45-10 and he didn't register a single QB pressure or tackle-for-loss. He looked lost against the Vikings the week before as well. He was overdrafted because he blew up the combine. He was a pass rushing DE at Temple at 235lbs. Those guys don't work in the NFL and they rarely transition to OLB with any success. Remind you of anybody?
  9. I watched him play the last 2 weeks and it was bad. I don't think it's the Big Nickel scheme either, he just doesn't have a nose for the ball. For a guy that's on the field for 100% of the snaps he doesn't make an impact at all.
  10. Great post and 100% correct. I will you give you a piece of advice - don't bother trying to explain this right after a blowout loss. This is peak whining phase because the realization that this year's team isn't going anywhere has finally sunk in.
  11. Tantrum Tuesday's have really been entertaining this year
  12. Thats' Tyrone Biggums and that's a fantastic costume! Cocaine-themed party? Give me a break.
  13. lol this is great
  14. He's insightful and really does his homework. I'm not one that typically hates on the announcing crew, but this setup is brutal. Worse MNF crew since Dennis MIller? Let's talk about that 2-pt conversion. Let's say he kicks the XP and is now down by 7. They get the ball back and score a TD with almost no time on the clock and are now down by 1. If he goes for a 2-pt conversion there (essentially the win -- or a loss) Shurmur is considered "bold" and is likely praised for having a brass set. Well, he basically did the same thing, he just gave himself some more wiggle room in case the conversion failed.
  15. This is called hindsight. This team needed to get a QB high in this year's draft, and it did just that. Just because you've concluded he's a bust after 5 games doesn't mean anything.
  16. New Era is out. Welcome to Monday Night Football at Mighty Taco Stadium.
  17. Classic Jerry Jones.
  18. This is where you are mistaken. There were a lot of people, for some unknown reason, that thought this team was going to make a playoff run. They're very easy to spot now.
  19. Good luck explaining this after a loss . They were handed a team in cap trouble with nothing to build on for the future. They pulled the band-aid off quick which was the right move, regardless of how much the fans whine. Blowout wins and losses are never as good or bad as they seem. This was a 5-win team in April and will likely be a 5-win team at the end of December. Nothing has changed.
