  1. Just be thankful we have a GM smarter than this.
  2. This might be the least surprising signing of the last few years.
  3. As mentioned in the other thread, the money is not nearly as important as the term. The team needed a 1-year deal.
  4. Seriously. If you're going to post clickbait, at least have the decency to not create a new thread for it when there's already a thread about Suh on the front page. You completely made up the "very likely" part as well.
  5. Here's the source: It's Mike Rodak. Pure speculation from Rodak. http://www.espn.com/blog/nflnation/post/_/id/270914/teams-that-might-target-ndamukong-suh-after-expected-release They list 8 teams that might target him. lol
  6. I have never seen this before: You could run a poll on "Does 2+2=4" and there's always going to be a few idiots that vote "No" Uncharted territory here.
  7. Actually, I kind of want that guy, especially when we play the Pats. Players absolutely dread lining up against him. Speaking of the Pats, I could see them going after him which I don't want to see happen
  8. We drafted Glenn in the 2nd round when he was healthy and signed him to a cheap rookie deal. We just got the equivalent of a 2nd round pick back for him, except now he has an 8-figure cap hit and he's only played 16 games over the last 3 seasons.
  9. He said the team was going to be built through the draft when he was hired. So much whining and crying last August lol
  10. By that logic, if the Browns win 1 game this year their season was a success. Mediocrity is not success.
  11. Negative. The Tyrod Taylor era is the same as the Rex Ryan era - a big waste of time.
  12. The actual figure isn't as important as the term, which has to be 1-year.
  13. Maybe he just thinks very highly of Jeff Hostetler and Jay Schroeder?
  14. It was as if Ian Rapoport performed CPR on the CoT, and for one brief moment, there was a faint heartbeat. And just as it looked like the patient was going to make it, Beane showed up in the ambulance and ran them over. Ahhh, the offseason.
  15. Do the Browns have a charity we can donate money to?
  16. God Bless the Cleveland Browns.
  17. We didn't trade the career of Sammy Watkins for a 2nd round pick, we traded 1 year of Sammy Watkins for a 2nd round pick. It's amazing how many fans still don't understand this. And if we do draft a WR with that 2nd round pick, we'll have him under contract for 4 years at an incredibly cheap price. Big difference.
  18. It really wasn't even a debate 7 months ago.
  19. Snead was really painted into a corner. His agent wasn't going to come to the table based on last year's production, and you can't give him $16M gtd just to save face.
  20. Absolutely. But the good teams already have their QB. That's why we consider them the good teams.
  21. He started to look like his young self last year after that back surgery. Not happy to see him in the division.
  22. Anything under 15 yards can be a spot foul, that's not an issue. If your WR is getting interfered with 47 yards downfield, then he likely wasn't open in the first place. It bears repeating, if your WR truly has the DB beat on a deep route, and the pass is accurate, there is nothing the DB can do about it. He can't tackle him. He can't even touch him. And if he can, then either a) the WR didn't get separation or b) the pass was poorly underthrown -- and in either case the offense doesn't deserve to get 50+yds of offense on a flag. That's the cheesiest play in football, and it's happening more often every year.
