  1. There was 1:34 left and no timeouts with a backup QB under center. Sometimes a weak move is the correct move, and in this case it was.
  2. I'll answer this one for Sal. In overtime you slate a run-heavy attack that doesn't require you to put the entire game on Peterman's ability to run a 2-minute offense with no timeouts. Taking a knee 3 times and punting is a better option than asking Peterman to throw the ball with 1:34 left.
  3. Something about glass houses and stones.
  4. I believe they've chosen option B.
  5. I know it's always in vogue to bash the OC, but after 6 weeks Daboll looks like he's in way over his head. The Packers game was eye-opening. I can't remember a worse gameplan -- and that's a strong statement when you reflect on this organization's inept offenses over the last two decades. Yes, I am aware of the talent deficiencies on the offensive side of the ball, but these continual illegal formation penalties are a clear indicator he can't get his personnel to execute for him. And calling a 10-yard out with Peterman under center and under 2 minutes to play? He should be investigated by the NFL to see if he had money wagered on the Texans. I can't comprehend how an NFL OC doesn't possess the awareness to take that play off the sheet under those circumstances.
  6. Outstanding decoy work by Watkins tonight. Love the way he inspires Hill to run so fast. Also a great job by Ragland limiting them to only 173 rushing yards.
  7. This should be an epic week for forum tantrums lol
  8. Probably because he isn't worth the money. Need some more context on that tweet, it feels like it was purposely written to incite fans and mission accomplished on that.
  9. I do think you are correct about Tyrell Williams being on their radar. A guy I like is John Brown in Baltimore, another speedster that stretches the field. However his current 1,300 yard pace might drive his price up too much.
  10. Well, rookie OL typically don't need mentors. Spending big money on 32+ yr old linemen probably isn't that smart. A guy like Daryl Williams is a much better target. When theorycrafting next year's FA targets, ask yourself "How will this player help the team in 2020, 2021, and 2022?" If they don't, they are probably not a realistic target.
  11. Next year Tate is 31, Levitre 33, and Veldheer is 32. Not gonna happen.
  12. I would still say, realistically, the best outcome for this kid is to come away without any scars, especially this week. On-point assessment though.
  13. Watt's tied for the league lead in sacks, Clowney looks to be hitting his form with 2.5 in last 2 games. Toughest match up for our OL to date.
  14. I think Watt and Clowney are going to put an end to this scenario.
  15. Not often, but then again, how often does the "all the tools" college QB work out? You hear the Farve comparison come up a lot (came from a odd college offense, made most of his plays outside the system, great arm and physical traits) but I think Jimmy G. is a recent example of a project that could work out.
  16. For some reason people are under the impression that Shady is part of the future of this team. He's not. He's likely got 11 games left in a Bills uniform, and with injuries, even that may be a reach.
  17. Graham was only playing as their nickel DB and was forced to start because Rodney McLeod is out for the year. Graham got hurt last game, not benched.
  18. "I really, really, really wanted to draft Drew Brees when I was the head coach of the Buffalo Bills, and thank goodness that didn't happen otherwise I'd still be stuck up there in cold Buffalo." - Gregg Williams Sure thing, Greggo.
  19. It's not a dissenting opinion it's a lazy, uneducated one. It shows that out of the entire gamut of coaching around the NFL over the past few decades your scope is limited to only what you see on the Bills sideline. It's a clumsy attempt to shoehorn a comparison when their clearly isn't one there.
  20. Anyone who thinks McD is similar to Jauron isn't worth listening to.
  21. Anyone upset we kicked the tires on Jordan Phillips?
  22. They're also rumored to be moving Bucannon. AZ defense runs nickel as base with 2 LB, it's not conventional. When I say base I mean they've had 3 safeties on the field for every snap this year.
  23. It's what our fan base does. Solid signing.
