  1. That other thread should be burned.
  2. OP you’ve been blocked. Posting nonsense should have ramifications.
  3. Even though it's McDermott's defense, I think Frazier is an excellent coach, and a lot of players sing his praises. I think this would be a noticeable loss.
  4. Brett Favre had a 50% INT rate his rookie year.
  5. Not every day you have an opportunity to trade for a Super bowl MVP. I’d offer a first.
  6. I’m pretty sure the Papadopoulos admission at the end of the memo is sufficient all it’s own.
  7. I would rather Peterman start than Derek Anderson.
  8. I know there are a lot a real big tough internet men on here, but these quotes are not to be overlooked: In 2010, then-team physician Samuel Haraldson told American Medical News that he was “verbally accosted” by Patterson after he refused to allow running back Ed Wesley to re-enter a game against SMU after he sustained a head injury that Haraldson diagnosed as a concussion. Listenbee asserts that the “injection of steroids and pain medication, lack of rest due to harassment and abuse from the coaching staff, and strenuous play of football caused” damage to his pelvic cartilage to the point where a metal plate had to be inserted to fuse the bones. The lawsuit claims this ended Listenbee’s chances at the “NFL career he would have had.” This coach screamed at a team doctor to force a concussed player in the game. He sounds like a psycho. Some of these college coaches act like divine royalty.
  9. I had "mad respect" for Jordan, Tiger Woods, Roger Federer, all achieving incredible championship tallies, but I have no respect for Tom Brady. Yesterday it felt like Brady was just throwing it as far as he could in order to draw a flag. It's not within the spirit of the game, and that it pays off for him, but not other QB's is why I have no respect for the man.
  10. I agree that we match up well against them. I'm not afraid of the Jaguars. They got hot at the right time and their defense is tough, but they don't scare me. Until they prove me otherwise, I'm counting this AFC Championship run as a fluke.
  11. Bills fans love to hate Dareus.
  12. One thing we can all agree on... he sounds like he knows what he's doing. That should count for something, right!?
  13. Shhh. Let them think we’re getting something shiny and new.
  14. Very excited to see if we sign him after the draft ends.
  15. Wow. End a team’s playoff drought, win a road comeback wildcard game and eventually lose to the Patriots in round 2 and you get fired? What a ruthless league.
  16. I wouldn’t read too much into Daboll’s cup of coffee in Alabama. I think the biggest take away from it is that Saban trusts him. There’s no overlap with AJ and Daboll and I don’t know if that’s the kind of decision Daboll would be making right out of the gate.
  17. Why? What does he have to do with Daboll?
  18. I totally understand and get where you’re coming from, but you must acknowledge that to draw your conclusion is to literally wipe out and ignore the 4 years he held the position we hired him for, right? I dig the username though and appreciate any Wes Anderson reference. Cheers!
  19. Ive ended most of my posts with something similar to “hopefully he isn’t crap, let’s wait and see”. You guys are taking a real offense to anyone that dares to mention his past NFL OC experience. Hopefully he isn’t crap. Let’s wait and see. I trust McDermott.
  20. What about my post that you replied to made you feel that I am clueless? I have acknowledged that he had bad QB's (and for the record, Cassel had gone to the pro bowl in 2010). That's not lost on me at all. The problem is that we have also had terrible QB's, and unless something incredible happens in the offseason, I don't expect for Brett Favre in his prime to be under center for us. I've read some good and some bad on Daboll's offense. I've been trying to be very realistic about the hire but jesus man... why call me clueless just because I'm nervous that this guy doesn't have a great history? I have season tickets even though I live on the other side of the country. I rebooked my flight home to greet the team at the damn airport after they clinched the playoffs. I flew to Jacksonville. I'm not some doom and gloom fan. I want this team to win just as much as you and I'm pumped for the season. Just because someone has a different opinion than you doesn't mean they're clueless. Over the last three seasons we have had an incredible rushing attack, but it hasn't helped us win games when we're trailing late. You need opposing defenses to fear the threat of a pass. Daboll displayed over the course of 4 seasons that passing attempts are not an integral part of his offense. I'm happy that his rushing attack has been proven successful, but I'd love to have a legitimate passing attack. It's been YEARS. Everyone has been giving him a pass, as those though 4 years never happened. I get it, I honestly do. It's easy to say, "hey it's the browns, it's the dolphins, it's the chiefs", but those were historically bad offenses. I'm still hopeful that his fourth stint as an NFL OC he figures it out and maybe his experiences since KC have helped him take advantage of this opportunity. He's a little older now, surely a little wiser, a little more successful and hopefully ready to learn from his past mistakes. I trust McDermott and I hope it all works out.
  21. The Vikings are keeping Case Keenum. This wasn't some Trent Dilfer-esque midseason run they're on. Keenum won them this game.
  22. You guys need to relax. SDS you can yell at me to stop all you want. As I said before, I trust McDermott. I'm also not even remotely "living under a dark cloud", I'm literally citing and pointing towards his stats. If you want to throw those out the window, fine... but it's not simply that he's been responsible for some terrible offenses, but he's shown to have an aversion to passing with the frequency of the rest of the league. I understand everyone wants a parade today, and I'm not going to bring up his NFL OC track record again. I get it, right? He won a national championship, Belichick likes him, etc. Those are not lost points on me, but someone needs to be realistic here and admit we should be a little cautious/nervous about the hire. The decision has been made so now he's our guy and I'll root for him as hard as all of you when fall rolls around, but please understand that it's very possible that we have an incredibly boring and ineffective offense this season.
  23. So we should expect to have somewhere between the 28th and 32nd most passing attempts. I can’t stress enough how little I agree with this “offensive philosophy”.
  24. Hopefully this decision has had no impact on Tyrod and he was already going to be released or traded in the first week of March.
