  1. I've never seen a team rely on the referees as much as the Seahawks at home. They seem to get every call, it's insane.
  2. 100%. If you're a WR and Tyrod is your QB you're basically screwed.
  3. Ragland looks like a legit NFL LB as well. I'm sure they'll fill the 10 holes they've created in the offseason though
  4. I would say: 1. Bledsoe 2. Flutie 3. Fitzpatrick 4a. Taylor 4b. Orton The "best since Kelly" narrative is both wrong and pointless. If you don't lead us to the playoffs it doesn't matter anyways. There have been several games in his career here where the defense stepped up and Taylor was lost. It seemed to happen the most in big games. I have very few memories of a Taylor leading the team to a defining victory.
  5. He would definitely win the high school national championship if given the chance.
  6. I can't believe they trotted Brady out for their last drive, and I also can't believe no one went for a late hit on him as he was passing with a 20 point lead and 2 minutes to go.
  7. This is my last reply on this topic because I've had this exact conversation too many times, but I never once said 300 yards, and I have no fascination with that number. Taylor throws for an average of like 180. We have no passing attack. All team stats during his tenure confirm this. We consistently finish in the bottom half or even last in passing. Without a passing attack you cannot win games consistently. You need to rely on crazy good defense (sound like the beginning of the season?) or an insane rushing attack (sound like the previous 2 years where we literally led the league in rushing) just to win enough to be around .500 without a legitimate passing attack. I don't care at all about advanced stats, which considering how analytical I am in all other facets of my life, should tell you all you need to know about why I watch sports. It's not to read the numbers on the back of a card. It's to watch these athletes perform, come together as a team, and win games while representing Buffalo, NY.
  8. What in the world does that even mean here?? I'm not trying to operate a business efficiently, I'm a sports fan that wants to see his team look like a modern NFL offense for a change. This is a passing league. We need to score to win. We need gross points. Gross touchdowns. How dumb do you think we are that we don't understand the concept of weighted averages??? People bring up passing yards because Tyrod's famous TD to INT ratio doesn't win you games in the same fashion that Brady's yards and TD's do. BTW - when people cite the passing yards... we're not doing it because we're too dumb to understand "advanced stats". We're doing it because you can just about throw all those advanced stats out the window if your QB isn't a passing threat.
  9. They like to add in his rushing stats with his passing so it makes his yards total less ridiculous. Before anyone chimes in... I understand the value in his rushing ability, and it's easily his best strength - not to be overlooked. I also don't see people coupling Brady's passing and rushing stats.
  10. To be fair, if it's one game with my life on the line it's possible I'm picking Eli over almost any QB of the last 20 years.
  11. I always forget that we don't get absolutely blown out every Patriots game. Looking back through them it's more frustrating the few times that we've outplayed them and still found a way to lose.
  12. So now it's the OC? How original. Maybe Tyrod will bloom after his fourth coordinator comes into town.
  13. No one is perfect, but Tyrod had great protection, and had all the time to make the throw. O'Leary was running WIDE OPEN with no safety help behind him. Fans are more upset that we keep leaving plays like that on the table. It feels like Taylor can't hit guys in stride. It was a completion, yes, but it would be nice to make the defense pay when they fall asleep and leave a guy wide open.
  14. The only thing I'll say about Rex Ryan is that he should never have been hired to begin with. It didn't take much to predict that he'd be out of the league in a couple of years. What a waste of everyone's time.
  15. You're not upset? You started a thread about it... You don't have to watch "these skits". I might even agree with you that they're very rarely entertaining or funny, but at the same time it's a great time to get up and grab a beer, more food, go to the bathroom, etc. I'm usually too busy high-fiving and talking about the play to even notice the celebration after the Bills score.
  16. I couldn't imagine letting something like this bother me.
  17. He definitely has another year in him. I can't stand drafting a RB high, so hopefully Beane understands the proper value for the position.
  18. We've missed the playoffs for almost 20 years yet they can't figure out why we aren't satisfied with a 20-18 record? Are they saying barely over .500 should be good enough for the Bills?
  19. Something improbable would have to happen for us to win. Like Brady skipping on a mat or someone misplacing his helmet.
  20. Thats pretty low considering we're in 6th. Just goes to show how impossible the playoffs can be when you play the Patriots twice per year.
  21. You keep pointing out his cognitive dissonance by pounding your chest. Impressively ironic.
  22. They had the support of the fans and media going into the Thursday Night game against the Jets with a 5-2 record. If the media is to blame, are you saying it was their fault for being too supportive at that point in the season?
  23. Do we have anyone better?
