  1. Maybe I'm in the minority, but as a pretty big sports fan I can confidently say that I will never pay for sports journalism, especially opinion pieces. I don't find a lot of value in them, even if they're well written, and (especially when it comes to the Bills) it's rare that I encounter an angle I hadn't thought of or hasn't been discussed at length here.
  2. I thought there was something in the rules that clarified even further. He cannot, for example, just chuck the ball into the end zone and out run the defense to "recover" a touchdown, right?
  3. That makes no sense? You want the team we lost our tiebreaker to, to have a good record and win games? Are you even a Bills fan?
  4. Best execution of stop, drop, and roll that I've ever seen.
  5. I have to give credit to Tyrod. He really stepped up down in the fourth like that. Play of the games: 1. Tre White single-handedly getting us a chance to win it 2. Taiwan Jones coming in ice cold off the bench to dazzle dazzle their entire defense for a massive first down. It easily could've ended up like the Reggie Bush reverse last year, but Jones willed his way to the first. Awesome play.
  6. Just list the excuses in numerical format so it's easier to follow. No need to get Shakespeare on us.
  7. Not to mention the most amount of game extending penalty flags I've ever seen.
  8. The only thing the last 17 years have proven is that I am stupid, and you can't fix stupid. Fan for life, baby.
  9. Bart Starr, Brett Favre, and Aaron Rodgers. You get no sympathy from me.
  10. Football to a lot of America still has this intrinsic connection with playing in your backyard as a kid. A catch was a catch and a fumble was a fumble. Before they introduced replay, this was still how it was in the NFL. Since they've introduced replay we've gotten further and further from these perfectly acceptable rules. It's not complicated. Replay has slowed down significantly and fans are now rooting for whether the 6mm white laces of the football are connecting with the foam polygon in the corner of the endzone. That becomes the highlight. I might be too far gone to leave the NFL, but I care much less. What happened to the Jets disgusting and tarnishes the name of football significantly. We don't know what a catch is. We don't know what a fumble is. We don't know what a touchdown is.
  11. I genuinely can't stand the idea that Jimmy Garappolo is the best backup in the NFL. If Brady retires while Garappolo is still in his 20's I will take great joy in crushing him and the Patriots.
  12. I never once even said 300 yards. You did. Here's a number I will say, 182. Tyrod Taylor is averaging 182 yards per game.
  13. I keep seeing Garcon thrown around a lot. The 49ers signed him to a five-year, $47.5 million. Wouldn't you rather have Woods for 5 years $39 million? Seems like it would be a completely backwards move.
  14. There is no truer testament to Tyrod being a horrible passer than when his biggest fan thinks a 225 yard game is something to write home about.
  15. There's not a real deep threat out there (unless you count 31 yr old Eddie Royal), but there are some legitimate options that we could have brought in for a visit. Here's a list of some WRs available with at least 10 receiving TDs: Eddie Royal Victor Cruz Cecil Shorts Vincent Jackson Stevie Johnson Rod Streater - I actually thought this would have made the most sense Notable guys that might be worth grooming: Dorial Green-Beckham (only 6 TDs, but a former 2nd rd guy, age 24) Marquess Wilson (25 years old, started 14 games over a few seasons in CHI)
  16. What, you're not excited about the signing of a 28 year old with 3 career receiving TD's?
  17. As much as I think the front office has mishandled the RB situation this season (both in roster selection and snap counts), I think it's very disingenuous to label Mike Tolbert as a FB.
  18. Dennison played TE and WR in college. I have no idea why it would matter though... He's a former professional football player with 20 years experience coaching in the league. I'm pretty sure he's qualified to be an offensive coordinator.
  19. What are you talking about? That's an easy one. Tyrod needs to release quicker and "throw his receiver open" by leading him up field. He waited too long and actually it became a dangerous pass by the time he lobbed it downfield. I have no idea how you could think Logan Thomas is covered at the start of the rollout.
  20. Who is the fanboy here? Kind of seems like you, dude.
  21. Joe Banyard's zero carries is a mystery to me. It would seem he's the McCoy style back-up, yet we've never used him.
  22. What WR has excelled with Tyrod as QB?
  23. I think he's pretty great, what are you talking about?
  24. It's amazing to me that he is 26. It would be an incredible story if he was able to figure it out and get his life back together, but more likely he's probably just broke.
