I haven't found a reason to blame Dennison specifically. It seems like a lot of our woes have come down to a lack of execution. The lack of a passing game is our biggest issue, and I'm certainly not going to blame Dennison for that.

It always seems that way before the throw though. Coverage swarms in quicker than it looks on the screenshots. I would have loved to have seen a chance though. Taylor looked like he just wanted to go home.

Sure, but my point is that this record does not indicate anything about where the team is headed. We're on par with any of our recent 7-9, 8-8, 9-7 seasons without the playoffs. Mind you, I'm not ruling out a turn around. Maybe we get healthy and go on a run, but the 3-2 record does nothing to get my hyped anymore.

They say this every year. Tyrod is also not going to take this team to the promised land. It's not really worth debating though. The franchise will make the right call here. For once I have faith.

I agree that it's never going to happen. The defense had three big turnovers and a huge punt return, and the offense just did not step up. That last series has happened way too many times with Tyrod under center. It's still very early, but at this point it's really just see what happens this season, then leverage our picks to try and get a franchise QB. Let him battle with Peterman in the offseason. Edit: "try to get" added.

I have no idea how to grade an offensive coordinator, but I'm pretty sure he didn't dial up a hold-onto-the-ball-and-take-a-sack play every crucial third down.

I thought we got decent pressure last game. Washington is a fine DT. He's had a limited role, but he's had a few really nice plays. I can't believe we scratched him last week, especially after the couple big plays he made in the Denver game.

This study did a horrible job defining trap games and used too wide of a data set. Trap games are not meant to be studied imperically. Teams on a high are capable of overlooking their opponent. It happens all the time, at nearly every level of sports. It's not very quantifiable, but I refuse to believe they don't exist. I do agree that the term is over used, but for some upsets it feels like the perfect description for the situation.

I've never been a Tyrod hater. I want him to do well. It's actually the Tyrod "lovers" that I think live in a world of delusion. Tyrod has gotten the job done the last couple games, more from the mistakes he's avoided than the plays he's made. It helps having the best scoring defense in the NFL. As a final note... I'd pick a game where we get more than one offensive touchdown before chest bumping about the QB. He's been fine, but please let's just get a consistent season together before running around anointing anyone.
