The Biggest Whiffs In Buffalo Bills History
Homey D. Clown replied to BuffaloRush's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Aside from Jamarcus Russel of Raider fame, Aaron Maybin is hands down the biggest bust in NFL history, across all teams. He even put out a super-douchey rap song that sucked balls. It's just mind numbing to see a team draft a guy with virtually no college experience at 8th overall. Ughh.... the thought of hearing his name called that day just made me sick all over again, I need to go have a dump. -

I picked Freddie, but wanted to pick both Thurman and Freddie. it's a tie, they both meant so much to this team.

I wouldn't have traded any picks for any of the QBs that were going to be left on the board after Mayfield and Darnold. My plan was to hope that Rosen/Allen drop to 12, if not, then BPA, if Rosen/Allen Still on the board at 22, great, if not BPA. I would have then selected Mason Rudolph with my late second round pick(over-pick here, but not worth the risk with the 3rd round picks being a bit on the late side). The Allen pick is growing on me, and obviously I have no choice here, but I felt all along that Rudolph and Allen were on equal ground, and Rosen being the most accurate, and balanced of the three the Bills would have a shot at. During draft time I didn't care too much that Rosen might be a head case(See Jay Cutler), but after the draft, mu gut tells me he would have been a mistake. My biggest fear, as with all Bills fans is that you can't teach accuracy, or more-so, instinctive accuracy with regards to Allen, but as far as a guy who has a lot of character and would embrace Buffalo as did Jim Kelly, I feel Josh Allen was the right pick after all.(even with me calling him Paxton Lynch 2.0 pre-draft) yes, I waffled, Homey don't usually play 'dat.

Nigel Bradham, Robert Woods, and EJ Gaines.

I will go on record admitting I didn't see enough Of Josh Allen's work to compare him to Paxton Lynch in all honesty. I also made it known that I wanted Rosen for having seen more of his tape, but I have no effect on who the Bills draft, so after seeing some more film, I am at the very least more optimistic on what Allen can become, and far more disappointed in how Rosen carries himself publicly. I'm not pulling a full 180 on who I was hoping for in the draft, as I really wanted them to stay put in the 1st round and take Mason Rudolph with the late 2nd round pick, but now that it's all said and done, I am not totally opposed to the pick. I just hope he can develop and justify the move up. What I can say tha's growing on me is his demeanor and work ethic. EDIT: Let me clarify - If they were determined to move up in the draft, which I was against, I wanted Rosen. If they stayed put and kept all their picks, I wanted Rudolph. I felt like Rudolph was going to be the poor mans Allen.

Thank You Draft Crackpots!!

just hit 'em with a sock filled with tennis balls, like me. -
I am fairly certain McBeanne isn't stupid enough to throw money at him, and I can't imagine too many other GMs wanting this cancer of a player in their locker room either. The days of big mouth - big money days are clearly coming to an end mercifully. Loud-mouth, D-bag players are ruining the sport.

So Bills fans want Eli Manning

Down to Allen or Mayfield at 1

I'd rather have Alan Jackson. I have no interest in Paxton Lynch 2.0, nor do I want to see Tyrod taylor 2.0 in a Bills uniform next season. -
4-23: Brandon Beane on One Bills Live

Wow, attacking my personal view. You must feel so proud of yourself for such a clever reply. One question though... I was unaware that I needed to apply for a job for an NFL front office position to pick lottery numbers, I guess I was doing it wrong this whole time, do you have an application I can borrow? -

And no prospect past the top 2 worth the jump, it's as simple as that. -

Hopefully we pick at 12 and 22. I'd like to see him stand tall in the face of all the media hype and fan screaming for a move up. useless to move up when you have picks in the first round, and holes everywhere on your roster. -
Beane cost us the 3rd overall pick. JMO
Homey D. Clown replied to CuddyDark's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There are several busts just waiting to happen in this QB class, with no guarantees on any of them developing. I like that we have 12 and 22. This team has so many other holes to fill than just QB. Whaley certainly would have sold the farm and then drafted anther EJ Manuel. Not every Hall of Famer comes from the first round, or even the top 10 picks. Ahhemm... ever heard of a guy called Jim Kelly? I really hope they don't move up. There are plenty to have at 12. -
Would you be ok with this.

Allen did NOT play against top notch opponents. In the film that you see on him, he is not throwing against too many DB's who will be in the pros. I'm not a expert, but I don't see consistent success against top notch competition. I don't see him playing and succeeding against good playeers. I would be concerned about draft him as a project. I feel like he'll be another Paxton Lynch

Peterman Works w/ Tom House, Adds Velocity
Homey D. Clown replied to Thurman#1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I really hope he finishes pre-season as the starter, I really do. I loved what he did last pre-season, and how well he was playing in the snowy Colts game. McBeane is not going to sell the farm for a QB, get that notion out of your heads, none of these QBs at the top are a lock to be elite, none of them, period. So start warming up the idea of McCarron or Peterman now so you're not all jumping off the ledge come September. No, he doesn't suck, yes, he was a rookie, and after 1.3 games...really???? a late round pick and you wanted instant Joe Montana, just add water??? it's ridiculous how people crucify a player's career around here.
