  1. I have an idea, let's bring back all the players we haven't beaten the chiefs or bengals with in the playoffs, that'll get it done. brilliant.
  2. Sorry, but they suck. Give me another game in the red helmets!
  3. That'll never happen (Schwartz) as long as McDermott's "bend but break" then "collapse" defensive scheme is here.
  4. i was going to say the same thing. he was great during the regular season, and to be fair to Diggs, they (Josh Allen) really made each other better at times. Until the playoffs. he was invisible. I'd rather have the reverse.
  5. It's funny how long it's been since I'd thought of old Art. I do miss those days of home grown news media. We really had it good. RIP old friend.
  6. Great news for slightly above average running backs who can't block everywhere. 😛
  7. I'd much prefer a complementary 51-3 beating. I was at all the playoff games from that year, thanks to winning two tickets from 97 rock.
  8. I can see your point, lacking offensive weapons contributing to a lack of success, especially if the team gets one dimensional, but I'll still have to stand on the eyeball facts of what I saw on display the last couple of years and now this first game. No doubt the game has changed a bit in recent years, but it will require a better product on defense to get past teams like cincy, Baltimore, and any other team that will no doubt have a strong offense. I also think it's more the scheme they draft for that makes this defense a sieve. We can simply look at those dreaded 13 seconds as a microcosm of the last 3-4 seasons of Josh's career here. When they needed a stop the most, it simply didn't happen. but hey, I might be unrealistic in today's version of the game, it's just how I see it.
  9. He still had a little juice left in his game that year, it's a shame the team just couldn't do much with that opportunity, like they did with James Lofton.
  10. Geez, obsess much? settle down francis. Maybe go get a nice drink of water and cool off somewhere, I was responding to someone else, how about you stick your head somewhere else. 🤣
  11. I'm listening... I can agree to disagree, respectfully. Keep in mind, the outcome of the game in total wasn't what I was concerned about, it was the defense lo0oking every bit the same recycled garbage from last year.
  12. Great take lol. Go look at last year's preseason games, and the defensive turd the team fielded all season and tell me what's different? lol Kinda was a predictor of what actually happened all year. lol I do love the zealotry against logic and the deductive process.
  13. All of them. If you need to add a reason, which are all legit, then there's really no point picking just one.
  14. I do enjoy a good "let's mock the realists" thread.... Both teams played base defenses and offenses. The Bills defense looks every bit as ***** as they ever have looked, including the Bledsoe era. I'm sorry, but you should see more out of that unit, and there was no change. Piss poor play from the secondary and the ever invisible, yet highly praised Ed Oliver. Seriously, everyone on the "it's just one preseason game" side of the coin seem to not see that what was displayed looked just like the same garbage as last season, saying the same ridiculous excuses as last year at this time. Flame away.
  15. I never said contracts aren't all great, but it doesn't mean the team isn't honoring it to the letter of how it's structured. (Highlighted) For some players, absolutely, for others, absolutely not. Enter case study: DeShawn Watson. Let's face it... the NFL is a rather ***** business model.
  16. Forgot about Shady. Yeah, he was really solid for a couple of years. Teams do honor them, they follow it as it's written. Not sure which example you'd have where that isn't the case
  17. Trade. I don't care how good a player is anymore. This is a part of the game that I simply can't stand. And especially in his case with all the obnoxious tweets and "hold-In" BS. He ran for just north of 1000 yards ONCE. Sit your ass down son, that's average. And nevermind the touchdown total, big deal. He'd have much less if the offense wasn't getting him down there 50% of the time. Is he good, yes. Is he probably the best we've seen since Fred Jackson? Yep. don't care. You signed a contract, how about you honor it instead of holding the franchise hostage. End Rant.
  18. I think it will be fun to sit near some of the Bills players when they go to watch the game.
  19. fantastic. Time to cancel my NFL+ account. 😠
  20. I would go as far to say, one game. He was amazing against the chiefs in that playoff loss.
  21. The offense was arguably better without him and Diggs, who would even want to consider a guy who proved he has limited talent when removed from a top tier QB? He was CUT from the JAGUARS. Add whichever sentence enhancer you like from the list below *FFS *Facepalm *LAM
  22. How about an NFL rule change that states very clearly that if you hold out you get exactly $0.00 until you show up, and IF... you don't play 4 games or more, you're entire salary is suspended. As a player you SIGNED the existing contract. You AGREED to the terms. The team should not have to be held hostage every time a player feels underpaid AS A MILLIONAIRE. This ^^^^ is what's killing my love for the game today.
