  1. Definitely the best drought era guys, then you add in a prime Fred Jackson, and you wonder how they never managed to blow up the league. To this day I still remember the three of them very fondly.
  2. great... the 70's loser outfit. Better yet, add a red helmet with the blue facemask, really bake in a definitive loss...
  3. 34 -17 Bengals. I have what some people might call a good sense of reality. I'm more embarrassed by the callouts of those who dismiss reality. You have to be a real solid block noggin to think this defense can stop a good QB, especially now. I was at the game where Hamlin went down, and I can very easily say they were going to get demolished that day.
  4. if your defense performs like a gutless turd, it doesn't matter what you call the offense.
  5. This somehow makes me feel better about drafting EJ Manuel. I'll taket it...
  6. you just don't get a pass in this league when a team you should beat rather handily flat out punched you in the face. Let's just stop with the nonsense. I think we can all see this team has been in a downward sprial since they got de-panted by Cincy at home, and to make anecdotal excuses are just that, as each week brings another batch of "reasons" the team is still good.
  7. Careful, the rose colored glasses are thick around here...
  8. No, but I'd seriously consider trading Diggs to San Fran where he can have a chance to win a superbowl, because it's never going to happen playing for this ***** team.
  9. Can we stop pretending this team is good? An apparent slide from consistent offensive firepower was exposed in the Cincy playoff game, and other than the odd miami performance, this team looks incredibly beatable. Josh doesn't run, we lose. And don't get me started on the Bag-O-$h1t this defense has become. Unless this team can get their heads our of each other's @$$es, they'll finish the seaon no better than a trent edwards, dick jauron team. Flame away.
  10. I never watched a single game played in toronto, and I didn't watch the game sunday. I will not support overseas games, even if it has less than zero impact to the NFL.
  11. I was on a small island of those who were not sad to see Dabol leave, not overtly thrilled, but not sad, and i've been a Ken Dorsey fanboy from the start. I think he's got a better and more balanced strategy for overall success, so I'd say putting josh in the right situation is his 33.333%, 33.333% seriously great receiving talent executing on that game plan, and the rest is allen having the talent to put the ball where no other QB can with insane velocity. 33.334%. I think what we're really seeing is that it takes more than just arm talent to be able to complete passes at that level.
  12. Miami - 38 Buffalo - 27 I don't know why, but this game feels like another one of those "cincy playoff" type games.
  13. I don't get all the disdain for Dorsey. I feel like he's a far more balanced OC than dabol ever was. When you consider the lack of slot presence we had with Cole Beasley( I contend Dabol's best years were when beasley was at his peak) and a much more suspect offensive line, I find it hard to blame it on an OC, whether it be Dorsey, Dabol, or anyone else for that matter. Let's also consider Diggs is now 29, and while he still seems to have not lost a step, he may not have that extra juice when other receivers are not picking up the slack.
  14. seriously, his stats are worse than trent edwards for the entirety of his career. This couldn't be a more accurate statement.
  15. I care about this league about as much as I would the CFL, which is none. If europe gets a league, toss that into the IDGAS pile too. I'm an NFL enthusiast, follow the league throughout the season ans offseason, that's about it. It's just not needed. Baseball spring training is cool, I keep my eye on the yankees during that time, but I'll never care what happens in that league.
  16. Or the cowboys. That team could go 0-17 and it's still not enough for me. The Death star draft room they had was arguably the Douchiest thing I've ever witnessed on draft day hands down. obsess much? lol yep.
  17. I feel like the that was the game he showed to me anyway, something was off. I haven't seen anything that resembles the 2021, and first 2 games of 2022 josh since. I am not sure what needs to happen for this trend to reverse course, but clearly it's an issue. It's hard to say something like this out loud around here due to all the hateful backlash you'll get, but you also can't pretend not to see it.
  18. I'll put it this way... Are there any teams out there wishing they didn't miss on drafting AJ? no.
  19. I'll see your Edelman, and raise you one Cheap-shot-Gronkowski. Now I know it seems unkind to call out a guy whose brain matter is more than likely mashed potatoes and an IQ of 9, but none the less...
  20. Well, they got me for 89 dollars for 3 months in April without an email notice. I just cancelled my subscription thanks to this thread.
  21. You are factually correct, everything I wrote is based upon my observations which I shared here. I opened that up for debate to see who may share the same views, or have an opposite point of view. you know, civil discourse. I have no evidence, or inside knowledge, other than the statements we have seen from the team in the media, to which I formed an observational opinion. Happy to discuss further. There's no doubt we are only seeing a very myopic view of the internal reality, but let's go back to the end of the playoff game. Was that behavior in any way going to lead to anythnig remotely positive? I havent ever seen a positive outcome.
  22. I should have put "miracle deal" in bold I should have put "intelligent rebuttal" in bold seriously though, I think the outward display of adult infancy speaks for itself.
  23. I would be in favor of this "Bellichick style" move, especially if this team wants to keep their superbowl window open. I personally don't think what Diggs did and is clearly still doing is/was justified in any way, and I can't see how a team can thrive with a player that clearly thinks his QB is doing him wrong, or another "mystery" person in the organization. Now Allen has to force throws his way, people have to cater to his bull#### tantrum, or placate his ego. It's like a married couple where someone has cheated, but they stay married. Yes they stayed married and faithful, but it's never the same. Add the fact Diggs is going to be 30, I say work a miracle deal to let him "antonio brown" himself out of the league somewhere else. I welcome intelligent rebuttal.
